Benissimo Gelato & Caffè

Cute shop and great gelato. We tried the mango & passion fruit. Prices were very reasonable for the portions. Highly recommend.

Went there 10 minutes before closing time. Wife got the Tiramisu in a cone and I got the local Chicheme Gelato in a cup. All of them greeted us a “goodbye” when we left. Lovely. Bye!

We stopped in for lunch while touring Casco Antiguo. The attendants were very kind, sweet, and accommodating. The gelato was delicious on a hot day and they have an assortment of options--I favored the mascapone option. I had the Amore sandwich for lunch which is prosciutto and provolone cheese-based, and the bread is amazing. I ended with the pistachio-flavored cheesecake which was the last variety they had left. There is ample indoor seating. The pricing is quite reasonable as well.

Ice cream done right. Best pistachio I’ve had in a long time- maybe ever! Coconut was amazing too.

The place is nice and clean. The service was great. Tiramisú and coco ice cream was ok. The mango and lemon gelato was good. The hot chocolate not good.

Cute shop in the center of the old town. About $10 to get to from the cruise terminal by Uber. Gelato we tried was tasty and portions were adequate for the cost. We sampled a few flavors and the server was very helpful.

Best gelato I had in Casco Viejo! Creative flavors and wonderful service. I just wish I had tried it at the beginning of our visit.

A great spot for after dinner ice cream/gelato or any time given their all-day schedule. What we had was good, but not exceptional. We would come back. There are other stores in the area so you have options Offering more than just desserts is wise on their part. Many seem to like their other options. Stop by, and give it a try.
