Great kitchen, delicious food, but small portions and expensive water. Service is slow. Design is very beautiful. I loved to see unique dishes in the menu, but I wish there were more vegetarian options. I liked the place but it’s a shame to charge for water in Amsterdam!!!

Good vibe,great food and nice service (the fries is surprisingly amazing!). We like all the dishes. The only downside is the toilet has pretty strong smell of disinfectant.

A brilliant little gem tucked away in an unassuming corner on an industrial estate. The chef and kitchen staff care about what they prepare; service is friendly and engaging. We had the steak tartare, cabbage, chicken and fries. All dishes were well executed. We will be back.

Great stylish place where we chose to celebrate a birthday with a quiet dinner just for two. The food was based on simple components, yet beautifully combined and prepared, making it truly enjoyable. The tartar and fries were perfect, while the pasta felt more like a snack than a main course. The non-alcoholic wine/tea/kombucha selection was also a highlight – refreshing, creative, and a great match with the dishes. 🍷✨

Stylish spot with great vibes - Amsterdam in a nutshell! We shared a spread of dishes: the schnitzel with orange and caper butter was crisp and flavorful, the mussels were fresh with a nice herb kick, and the pastas came generously topped with parmesan. The steak was tender and cooked just right. The industrial chic design and the vibes are 💯 Overall recommend!!

A truly memorable dinner experience in Amsterdam. I went with two friends for a night out and we were all blown away. With chef Arvid Schmidt now in the kitchen, the menu feels fresh, inventive, and full of personality. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented—the quality of the food is outstanding. Highlights for us were the burrata with squid and pumpkin seeds, the kimchi spring rolls, the gamba roja tartare, the carne Apache, the strawberry rhubarb yogurt ice cream, and the white asparagus. The wine selection is also excellent and thoughtfully paired. The atmosphere strikes a great balance between vibrant and relaxed, and the staff were warm, helpful, and attentive. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just in the mood for drinks and bites, this place is a true gem. Highly recommended! Bonus: it has a great terrace for sunny afternoons and nights.

Excellent. Immediately loved the space, really light and they have an open kitchen. Great service, food and drinks well timed. Can’t wait to go back for dinner. The steak tartare, burrata were brilliant, flavours and textures on point. Cheesecake was an absolute knock out, sweet, tart and hint of salt, the olive oil was a surprising very welcome twist 🤩

Went to Bennie’s because I had a good experience a while ago and really like the interior and atmosphere. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. The wine was good, but the tuna carpaccio (€19) lacked depth of flavour and salt and didn’t feel worth the price. The main issue was the 500g ribeye (€70). I asked for medium and was told the kitchen only serves it their way. It arrived blue rare in the middle pieces. For €70, I atleast expect to choose how my steak is cooked. We had to leave several pieces because it was simply too raw We were also brought a second 1L bottle of water without asking, while we hadn’t even half way finished the first and was charged for both. When I addressed it, I was told “oh yea maybe we should’ve mentioned it, but it’s per person all night, but it’s only like 4 euros per bottle, that’s okay right” In total around €145 for an experience that didn’t match the price. Beautiful setting, but I won’t be returning.
