Benson House

Julie is an wonderful host, very friendly, welcoming and always helpful. She's even prepared for unforeseen events like a sudden power cut due to street construction work. The rooms are clean and cozy. And the breakfast is absolutely amazing! Julie prepares it freshly for you according to your order.

Stayed at this lovely B&B for a long weekend. Julie was a great host. It was so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and served hot. Nice food selection. It is a real gem and I would highly recommend this place too. Able to park here which was so convenient. We look forward to staying there again when we come back to Cambridge

I had such a wonderful stay at Benson House. Julie was an amazing host and made me feel so welcome. Her breakfasts were delicious and there was a lot of choice, and the whole place was completely spotless. She cleaned the room every single day so that it was always sparkling, and it was lovely to meet the friendly cats as well. I couldn't recommend Benson House highly enough - such excellent value for money, and I will definitely be staying here again!

Had the most wonderful stay in Julie's lovely B&B! It is in such a great location, not too far from the centre, and it is such a clean, friendly, lovely space to stay in. The room was cleaned beautifully every day, and the facilities were truly excellent. Julie's cooking is amazing, and I loved meeting Bertie, her sweet feline friend! I will most definitely be staying again, and can't recommend it highly enough

Our family of four had a lovely stay in two rooms at the Benson House. Both rooms were immaculate and comfortable. Our bed was incredibly comfortable, which we were very grateful for after our long flight. The linens and towels were soft and fluffy.||||Our breakfasts were delicious and made to order, including the same sausage Her Majesty enjoys. We really loved chatting with Julie each day, getting a bit of her sense of humor and tips for how to spend the day. It was a quick walk to punting, the shopping center, and the center of campus.||||Our daughter had spent the fall studying at the university and had enjoyed Julie's excellent cooking and hospitality many times, so it was an obvious choice for us to stay there. Her commitment to running a great bed and breakfast was clear, even during Covid times.

Julie is a super host, she was helpful and gave us useful advice about places in Cambridge. We were so pleased to be able to park our car safely in her driveway, a real bonus. The room was very comfortable, beautifully decorated with Egyptian cotton bed linen and White Company toiletries. We enjoyed the ten minute walk into the centre and felt safe walking back at night. Delicious breakfast in the morning. We had a wonderful weekend and would highly recommend to anyone.

Julie was welcoming, kind and helpful. I was lucky to find a single room here which was just what I was looking for. It was great value and the breakfast menu is great; lots of options. I would definitely recommend Benson House.
