If you feel like wasting your time Hotel Aga Begs is for you! ||||We booked a room for one night. Upon arrival we were told the room charge was 2,800 quite a jump from the booking price of 1,536.64 including tax that we had booked through Booking.com. ||||Unbeknownst to us, the booking had been cancelled. They said they had tried to call us to advise of the cancellation but we hadn’t answered. Our missed calls showed they had called one hour prior to our arrival when we were on the flight to Mumbai. This call was made at about 1.30 in the afternoon, so well after check in time. There had been no further follow up calls. ||||When I asked why the room had been cancelled they told me it was because the price was too low. I asked why they had listed at this price if it was not a high enough price for them. They couldn’t answer this question just continued to insist I pay the higher price. At no stage did they apologise for the inconvenience they had caused. ||||They obviously had a room available, but were unwilling to honour the price on the booking we had made. ||||They told us to call Booking.com but the problem was with them cancelling the booking not with Booking.com so I really have no idea what they thought Booking.com were going to do about it. ||||When I looked online they have rooms available for other dates at this lower price. I’m guessing this is their unscrupulous way they do business, preying on the fact many people just pay the higher amount when they arrive as it’s too difficult to find something else at short notice. Reading other reviews online this is not the first time this has happened and I’m sure it won’t be the last. ||||We were lucky it was the middle of the day when we arrived, I can’t imagine what it would be like if you arrived late in the evening and they did this to you. ||||We wasted over an hour of our day walking around the streets trying to find another hotel at short notice. As luck would have it, we found one which was of a much higher standard for a more reasonable price so, aside from the inconvenience of a wasted afternoon, it was a good result for us. ||||I would not recommend booking this hotel if you want to be sure there will be a room available for you at the price you booked upon arrival.

Hotel Bentley is nestled in the upscale area of Marine Drive in South Mumbai, boasting a prime location that's hard to beat. Booking through Agoda provided exceptional value for money during our stay. The rooms, especially the deluxe ones, are remarkably neat and spacious, offering a generous 211 square feet. The staff were delightful - friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived, even facilitating an early check-in for one of our booked rooms.||Situated on the residential property's 3rd floor, the deluxe rooms impressed us with their cleanliness and ample space. However, it's worth noting that standard rooms might be smaller in size, and the sea-facing suites offer only a partial view of the sea. The small society lift occasionally experienced hiccups, but the staff were readily available to assist with luggage, ensuring a hassle-free experience.||Although the hotel lacks an in-house dining area, they make up for it with minimal yet efficient room service. We opted for their coffee and tea service, which met our expectations. Moreover, the hotel's proximity to Marine Drive and its adjacent restaurants and eateries is a standout feature. For a delightful experience, I highly recommend trying Pizza by the Bay for its fantastic view and delectable food.||In summary, Hotel Bentley stands out as a perfectly located gem offering great value for money. The combination of its location, neat rooms, accommodating staff, and easy access to nearby attractions and dining options makes it a top recommendation for a fulfilling stay in South Mumbai.||

Big room, good air con, good hot water, very quiet at night, excellent location, nice staff. Skipped the bread and jam breakfast, the beds are hard but I don't mind that. The only bad thing was when the hotel ordered an airport taxi for us. Tiny bashed up car, driver who was constantly choking and spitting and driving like a maniac.

I would say our experience was below average.Definitely rooms are ok but service part is not at all upto mark.I mean at such cost they don't even provide 1rupee shampoo sachet,when asked they said only medimix soap available.No handwash in bathroom.On mmt it was clearly indicated breakfast is included when asked they said bread jam milega,and that too they forgot to provide even that,I mean seriously.Guys there isnt any service they even fail to provide tea,when asked sirf sabere milega.Totally Disappointed. Location is good but it doesn't matter if service is poor.

Horrible experience, staff is very rude. They told us a price for 2 nights and then doubled it. Room was dirty, sheets in terrible conditions. We found a cockroach in the bathroom. Overall bad experience, do not recommend.

We had stayed at Bentley hotel, Churchgate for 3 days and it was excellent. The hotel is located just opposite of the famous Marine Drive. It is in the 3rd floor of an apartment building and elevator is available. The room was spacious and tidy and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast is available but the menu is fixed. No restaurant in the hotel. So one has to go out for lunch and dinner. But it won't be a problem as there are many good restaurants nearby. The staff were very cordial and helpful. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Worst experience after one month travelling around India. After agreeing on a certain price the staff changed the document that I signed adding the double amount on it. Furthermore, the place is very old the beds very hard, broken and dirty towels, cockroaches in the bathroom and the jam for the breakfast was expired.

Worst experience in India so far. We have been here for one month (India)and we are used to the normal hotels here, but this one was disgusting. Cockroaches, bed bugs, unfriendly staff and expensive place.
