Came here by recommendation from a local. Love the atmosphere. We got the $5 salsa trio where we picked 3 flavors. They were all great!! We got the pineapple, jalapeño onion dip, and the salsa Verde. We got the cheese dip (based on recommendation), strong chili flavor - $9. One daughter got the sweet potato tamales and the other got the pork. $12 each and they shared, also got one side of cowboy caviar. They really liked the tamales, not the caviar. I got the fried pickle chicken salad. First impression, not near enough chicken, and the fried pickle flavor was not detectable at all. It was $15, I would not get it again.

Top faves - Devil Salsa super duper delicious and not to spicy. Loved the garlic driven sauce with a hint of sweetness and medium heat flavors coming forward. Loved the “Sage Advice” a NA Mock-tail that had Sage and Tangerine, absolutely divine! Not to sweet but lots of sage coming through, loved this! Loved the Texas style chili with no beans, simple to the point and perfect to top the tamales with. I had the sweet potato tamale, and yes, the tamales are small, but they are delicious. Come in knowing that the tamales are gonna be small in size but really good. I will go ahead and get the cheese dip and the chili to top them with. You can also use them to dip your chips in :-) The Fried Pickle Chicken tacos hit and were delicious. A little sweet for me, but still would order again. All in all, fun great restaurant for the price, my lunch was $29 and I got an appetizer, sage mock-tail, tamale and tacos. 🌮 #winning

I loved the atmosphere of this place! Right on the Bentonville square and it's brightly lit, open, fun, and blue inside. We didn't have to wait for seating and the staff was very welcoming. We tried the trio chips and dip as well as the steak tacos and chicken enchiladas. All the food was delicious and I can't wait to go back.

This was my first visit to the Taco and Tamale Co, but it will not be my last. What a gem in downtown Bentonville. Lots of space, beautiful seating, and decor. Our food was amazing, and our server was very efficient, friendly, and good knowledge of the menu. I ordered the 3 pork tamales, and they were perfect. They were tender, moist, and full of flavors. We ordered the trio of sauces with Creamy Jalapeño, Salsa Rojo, and Verde. We were all happy with the choices. Chips were fresh and not too salty. One lady in our group got the Green Chile chicken tamales that came with a spicy salsa. She got it on the side, and I enjoyed it. It had a little spice but was also sweet. One lady got the pickle chicken tacos with black beans and cilantro rice. She was super excited about how good it was, and the portion size was not skimpy but also not too much. The last lady got the pickle chicken salad that was amazing looking, and she said it was very good. It was a great experience and will return.

We stumbled upon Bentonville Taco & Tamale Co. while visiting from Maryland, and wow—we hit the jackpot! We sat at the bar, and our bartender, Hannah, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, and made our experience even better. Incredible service from start to finish! The food? Even better. We started with the Melting Pot Cheese Dip, and it was insanely good. But the real star was the Pickle Fried Chicken Tacos. First words out of my mouth? This is the best taco I’ve ever put in my mouth. No exaggeration. If you’re in Bentonville, do yourself a favor and eat here. We got super lucky finding this place—you should make it a priority!

This place is 🔥! From the unique building, to quirky furnishings and decor, great service, and fabulous food, I can only say that you are silly if you pass this place by. We had the pickle fried chicken tacos and the dip trio. Our favorite dip was the jalapeño and onion dip. That stuff is amazing. Serious food, staff that goes above and beyond to make your dining experience special, and a great location. Wish we lived closer!

From the moment you walk in, till the time you “choose” to walk out, GREAT VIBES, EXCELLENT service and COMFORT from the food you CHOOSE to satisfy your cravings!! There is NO wrong selection!! GREAT happy hour!!! My favorite happy hour drink is the frozen mojito!! AND, any other would be GREAT!! Today, we had the watermelon salad special. AMAZING!!! My most chosen is the Chili Citrus Salmon Salad!! Honestly, I don’t think you can have a “wrong choice”!! Same for SERVICE!!! Skylar was TOP today and Jennifer, EXCELLENT!!! I think Sarai, the manager, sets the standard!!

Google
Nice Taco 🌮 place in town which is near Bentonville Square. Tacos are great, it comes with two choices of sides. Sides are really impressive. I like restaurant ambience. Service is very nice 😊 This is the best tacos 🌮 place I feel so far in Bentonville. If you are new to town looking for Tacos 🌮 and Tamales 🫔 please try out this, it’s not going to disappoint for sure. One thing to be prepared, since this restaurant is near Benton square hard to find parking lots 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yelp
Great food, great service, very cool ambiance when it comes to Taco and Tamale. I didn't have the chance to fully explore all of the amazing dishes on the menu, but what I did try was amazing. The Crème Brûlée Pineapple Upside Down Cheesecake is a must have when you come here. Just the creation of this dessert alone is enough to intrigue the most unique palates! The Graham cracker crust with the soft, creamy layer of cheesecake and the rich, sweet pineapple slice and cherry on top is enough to make you happy and the day complete. I enjoyed every bite of this delicious dessert, and next time I'm in town, this is one of the first places I'm coming back to. 10/10!!

Yelp
I was on a business trip and came here with a colleague to have a quick lunch. So well worth it! We sat at the bar, so did not get a chance to experience table service. However, the bar tender was super attentive and friendly! The food was excellent. Please try all the homemade sauces they provide! You will not be disappointed!

Yelp
I'm a big fan of the Taco & Tamale locations -- I've been to both Little Rock and Fayetteville, and each time the food and service have been fantastic. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same experience at the Bentonville location. Our server accidentally spilled my friend's beer while setting it down and didn't seem to notice that we had to scramble to keep it from pouring out all over the table. She also spilled a good amount of water on my leg -- which I normally wouldn't get upset about -- but then asked if any got on me while my leg was clearly soaked. After that, she disappeared when we were ready to get the check and again when we were trying to pay. I eventually had to ask the hostess to send someone over, and of course, right after that, our server reappeared. That said, the entrees were amazing as always. The food is still top-notch -- just hoping the service gets dialed in to match.

Yelp
I rather would have not had dinner than have eaten this. Service was so meh and our apps were forgotten about twice despite being told it would come soon. Medium sized portions and food was so bleh. would recommend going anywhere else.

Yelp
We ended up at Bentonville Taco & Tamale on a whim tonight. The place was buzzing for a Sunday evening with linty if groups in the dining room but we were seated right away. The dining room is always so inviting and tonight was no different. Our server was with us pretty quickly. He was very knowledgeable and helpful with questions. Of course we started with an order of queso and added a trio of salsas. These hit perfectly and just set the tone for the night. We ordered our entries which came out warm and perfectly prepared. I got the chicken & poblano enchilada with the pinto beans and tomat & cucumber salad as sides. The enchilada was ridiculously good! It may be the best thing I've ordered here. The sides complemented the enchiladas and chips well. My daughter got the beef Ark-Mex enchilada with the red chili sauce. She says it was "pretty good" which is high praise from a teen ;)

Yelp
Everything was shockingly good. We were on a biz trip from CA and as Californian's we weren't expecting much (we're snooty and think our Mexican fare is the best)! The chips and three salsas was a great start. Each salsa was distinct and very unique in flavor. The tamales with sweet potatoes were delicious and the ahi tacos were great too.

Yelp
When I eat tacos I do prefer traditional tacos. This was very much NOT that. The tacos that we had were good, but not what I was expecting from a place with "Taco & Tamale" in its name. The vibes of this place were a little confusing to me - to me it felt like a lot of different people were putting together their own version of a pinterest tex-mex-taqueria and bar. The service was excellent - incredibly friendly, very attentive, and quick to make sure we had everything we needed. The food and drinks were good, but not memorable. I don't feel like I ever have to come back here.

Yelp
No flavor to the street Tacos there was no flavor. Bland and dry....the meat was overcooked. Too loud the music was overbearingly loud.

Yelp
4.5. It's a 5 if I want to lick the plate ;). This was quite tasty. I LOVED the dip sampler - house salsa, tomato marmalade and hatch Chile. Great combo! Tamales were quite tasty as well. I liked that the filling and masa were balanced and the masa was both tender and seasoned. The pulled pork nachos were crispy and plenty for two. The toppings were okay, but the salsa from the dip sampler really made them good. Yummy frozen Hurricane was on special (in lieu of the usual piña colada) for Mardi Gras. We would come here again. E intends to order his Christmas tamales here! Check it out!

Yelp
Amazing frozen cocktails and cheese dip. We didn't love the salsa or the tacos, but that's mainly because we don't enjoy Tex Mex as much as traditional Mexican food. It just didn't have enough flavor or spice. Service was amazing, and we loved the environment and ambience. We will definitely return for drinks and apps, and maybe try a different entree next time.

Jennie M.

Yelp
Our first time here and we can't wait to come back!! We ordered the Plato 1947 so we got to enjoy an enchilada, a taco, a tamale, a guacamole tostada, and their wonderful rice Every item was superb! I ordered the Love-All cocktail and Tom had an Improved Gin and Tonic...both awesome! What a lovely dining experience!
google avatar

Yelp
The bartender was so friendly! He had great recommendations and recommended the corn ribs and they were amazing. I would definitely go back just for those. His knowledge of beer was also nice. the place was super cute and clean parking is a little hard in that area but if you can find a spot in the public lots, it's great.

Yelp
Still 12/10. Always an amazing experience here. Food and drinks are both delicious. Bartender Ashley makes a great spicy margarita.

Yelp
Stopped through bentonville and ate at this location. Overall a good vibe with a good menu. I tried the pickled fried chicken tacos and they were delicious. The salsa trio was great!! Each dish was really flavorful!

Yelp
My daughter didn't want Mexican food, but we were so exhausted from bike riding that we overturned her vote and I'm so glad we did! This isn't your typical Mexican food. This is 100x better! It's fresh and delicious and you MUST try this place! I had the best mahi tuna tacos ever. Completely unexpected how much I loved these. My daughter had the shrimp and pineapple salad and loved it. My son had the chicken tacos and loved it. My husband had the steak tacos and loved it. The sides were all fresh and delicious. Service was great. Ambience was great. Definitely okay to bring your little kids but very fun for a girls night out also. They were out of tamales so we will have to return another time. Praying they open up in Oklahoma next!
google avatar

Yelp
Service was great! The dips were all very good according to GF. I don't eat salsa. The nachos were tasty. Nachos were enough for two. The tamales were very good. I think I'll order some when Christmas comes around. Would definitely come back. It's a very nice place to hang with friends.

Yelp
Very fun and lively atmosphere! Really can't go wrong here stopping by for some delish tacos and margs!!

Yelp
In town visiting and after doing a lap around the square, we decided on Bentonville Taco & Tamale for dinner. It did not disappoint! Loved the vibe of the restaurant. The servers and hostesses had smiles on their faces. We were seated quickly on a Friday evening at 5. We ordered the 3 salsa app and got the house red, green chili, and the jalapeño onion. All were delicious! I ordered the fish fry tacos and the best part was the sweetness of the green tomatoes offsetting the flavors of the fried catfish and sauce. I would definitely order this again. My friend got the verde enchiladas. She gave them a 4/5. Delicious but the topping was a creamy white cheese vs. expecting a green verde sauce mix. The menu isn't wrong when it lists the sauce. Just cheesier than expected. Overall, definitely worth checking out whether your local or visiting.

Yelp
We checked out Bentonville Taco & Tamale while visiting friends that moved to the area. We had a fantastic dining experience! The restaurant is clean, vibrant, and modern with friendly, energetic staff. We started with the salsa trio served with house chips (your choice of salsa from the variety available). We tried both of the house tamales: pork & beef tamales with a red chili broth and the sweet potato tamales with a tomatillo-like broth. The rice and pinto beans tasted perfect with the tamales! If you are visiting Bentonville, make sure to check out this restaurant and let me know what you think!
google avatar

Cecelia H.

Yelp
If you love Tamales, do not sleep on these tamales. Bring a tamale loving friend and get an order of the pork tamales AND the sweet potato tamales so you can try both! While the pork tamales are always solid, I favor the sweet potato tamales because it's such a flavor bomb of amazingness! I agree, this location tends to always be busy which could lead to service issues (I have had to wait 45 minutes for food after getting appetizers which is why I gave the review a 4). It's super cool/chic here and worth the wait- especially if going for the tamales! Also, do yourself a favor and order the cheese dip!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Modern upscale vibe to a taco joint. Great beer selection and the pickled chicken tacos are a must. Food was delish. Server was awesome and the vibe is fresh and bright. Everything that came to the table looked amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
The service was fast and attentive. The tamales were excellent and really like the kalsa sampler.

Yelp
I had such high hopes for this restaurant but I must say I am deeply disappointed. I went on a Wednesday afternoon, only two people were seated beside me. I expected to get my food quickly but the servers were talking in the corner for too long. I have tried so many local Tex- Mexican restaurants and I can tell most of the ingredients are processed and not fresh. Maybe because it is on the square, the prices were extravagant, but for a single order of tamales, I am shocked. Bland, inhospitable, and expensive, would not recommend. There are so many other local eateries that I would rather go too.
google avatar

Yelp
Fun festive restaurant just off the square in Bentonville. It was crowded when we stopped in so we at at the bar. Service was excellent. The drinks on the menu that interested me all looked too sweet, but the bartender suggested a spicy margarita which was perfect. We ordered a trio of salsa and chips. The chips were perfectly fried but could have used a hair more salt. The salsas we chose were all good, but two of them (tomato marmalade and a spicy salsa) were both so sweet they tasted more like barbecue sauce. For dinner we ordered a platter of the sweet potato tamales to split and multiple sides including tomato salad, black beans and rice. Lots of food that tasted excellent. The tamales were good but are much thinner and shorter that I typically expect, so something to keep in mind when deciding quantities. Excellent, reasonably priced meal. I wish there were more vegetarian options, but the available ones were good.

Yelp
Stunning aesthetic, music list, food was delicious! Loved the pinto beans, tamales and salsas.

Yelp
I will continue to hype this restaurant. This is our favorite stop in bentonville. And this time I will add a photo.

Yelp
Amazing food, great service, and lovely ambiance--I truly had an amazing time dining here!
google avatar

Yelp
Would definitely recommend eating here! The food is fresh and really good! Staff is friendly and helpful! I've had their brunch and dinner menus and both are great! We ate the 50/50 cheese dip as our appetizer, backyard chicken and fried shrimp po'boy tacos for our meal, and had margaritas! When I am back in Bentonville, I will definitely visit again.

Chris F.

Yelp
This place is so good! Everything we tried, we liked. (Not a fan of the Arkansas only Beers- just offer a Blue Moon or Ultra for the people not all about the "Hippie Biker vibe") but other than that, top notch. Will go back!
google avatar

Young Kyung K.

Yelp
This place is VERY cute! The place was very clean, decor was very hip and modern. Loved the liveliness inside and VERY margarita forward HAHA We got chips for the table- we got their house salsa it packs some heat! If you can't do spicy I recommend you ask them for the MILD because their regular house salsa is a bit on the spicy side. I ordered the ribeye fajitas and I had no complaints, the portion was good, they come with a side of flour tortillas and it was perfectly chewy! The flour tortillas had a great balance with the fajitas. The fajitas also come with a side of salsa, guac and sour cream-- I AM A SOUR CREAM girl so I was very happy with my dinner. The service was prompt and friendly; everyone was pretty pleased with the dinner. I don't know when I'll ever be back in Bentonville but if I am back I think I'll stay in THIS side of the town! Very HIP.

Yelp
Great Tacos! We got the pulled pork and the grilled chicken- the pinto beans were super tasty and also the rice with hatch peppers. Also really liked the cheese dip. Kids meals were plenty of food! Enjoyed the tenote drink. Restaurant has a great vibe, fun fresh decor and clean bathroom. Our server was so nice and food was out quickly. Kid friendly but also a great date night spot!
google avatar

Arina L.

Yelp
I would not recommend coming here if you're really hungry. I've had food here multiple times and the portions are so small! It's also a little pricey. They also need to perfect their mocktails. I ordered two different drinks and they were not drinkable.
google avatar

Shahan A.

Yelp
Got steak tacos. Garnishes were tasty, but steak was really tough. Crumble cup dessert was great. Was hoping the mercantile soda would be more pineappley, but you really taste the cucumber. Not bad tho.
google avatar

Yelp
Enjoyed a Friday night dinner. Expected a long wait, so we checked in and took a walk downtown. Much faster than anticipated but they held our table while we trekked back from out walk. All of the food that passed by our table looked delicious and beautifully plated. I ordered the sampler, Plato 1947. It was more food than I could eat, so I was happy to share with my dining companion. ($19.50 - great value) My boyfriend ordered the Chargrilled Steak Tacos (2). It came with 2 sides. He said it was very good but smaller than anticipated. I'd agree. ($16.50 - a little pricey for the amount of food.) Our server was Austyn. Very attentive even though it was a busy night.
google avatar

My-Linh D.

Yelp
A great spot in the center of Bentonville for food or quick drinks! I got the pass on fruit margarita and it was absolutely delicious! The cheese dips are also must tries! The service was quick and it was great seeing a lot of locals around.
google avatar

Dottie K.

Yelp
First let me start by saying that New Year's Eve and reservations booked days I. Advance maybe someone could have placed a food order. They were out of more things on the menu than they had. My order was messed up and when they remade it they also charged me for it twice took forever to get the check fixed. Service was slow. Serving size on the dips were disappointing. Over all. Way over priced! Food not that great and service was so so. Probably never have a need to go back.

Yelp
This restaurant was recommended to us by a local, and it did not disappoint. Cute little place right in the town square across from the Walmart museum (currently going through a restoration). We had the enchiladas verdes as well as the Ark-Mex enchiladas, both of which came with two sides. I highly recommend the cucumber tomato mint salad as one of them-such a great mix of flavor. Also not to be missed are the corn ribs appetizer. What made our visit even better was the wonderful service we received from Lauran. Our only regret is that we are not locals too. If we were, we would definitely be coming back often.

Yelp
We visted Bentonville Taco & Tamale for Dinner on a Friday night, had a little bit of a wait. We were quoted an hour but we got a call back in about 45 minutes. We shared the chips and 3 salsas -Creamy Jalapeno-Onion Dip -Red House Salsa -Hatch Green Chile Salsa These were all great. I personally liked the classic Red House Salsa the best. It was just what you'd expect from a nice salsa We also got the guacamole which was definitely super good. We actually ordered it a second time. I had the steak tacos and ordered tomato rice for my sides. The tacos were great, steak had super good flavor and the toppings (cheese, pickled onions, sour cream and guac were a great topping. It comes with 2 tacos which I felt like was enough after having tons and tons of chips. Would recommend, just if you're going during a peak time, expect a little bit of a wait
google avatar

Hadley B.

Yelp
This place is delicious! It also has a really cool ambiance. I love the overall look of the restaurant as it has a very modern and maximalist vibe to it. The staff is super friendly and helpful even when the line is out the door. T&T easily has one of my favorite quesos in the area. Can't go wrong!
google avatar

Mags A.

Yelp
My meal came 10 minutes before my husband's. Asked the server where my husband's meal was and she just walked off. My drink took 20 minutes. My water glass got empty numerous times. Waitress was great start but then was AWOL.
google avatar

Stephen H.

Yelp
So many good things to say here. Fun interior and smiley staff. Good food, including "Delta" tamales. PIckle-fried chicken. Need I say more?
google avatar

Amy J.

Yelp
Ok YUM! Came for lunch on a rainy day, left with a full belly & happy tastebuds. The man behind the bar was VERY knowledgeable & had a great personality. The textures, colors & finishes make for a superb hip & trendy atmosphere. We ordered the dip trio, tamales & tacos. All were delish & I think we'd do the same all over again. The only caveat is that the steak in the steak taco was a little chewy, maybe a cheaper cut of meat? But the rest of it was absolutely divine!
google avatar

Lorena N.

Yelp
After waiting over an hour we were seated. We were told the wait was 40 minutes, but waited longer, noticing larger parties were given tables ahead of the smaller, two person groups. There were tables that could have accommodated us and another couple waiting, but the larger groups always got priority. After we sat, our server was great. The food was also amazing. We ended up sitting in the basement. We ordered tamales and enchiladas and split them between us. There was not one better than the other. Their beans were so good. They are the way beans should be made, smokey and delicious. We would go back. I hope they can get their prioritizing down to being in order of waitlisted person vs. size of party.
google avatar

Priscilla H.

Yelp
Second time here. The first time we came they had just opened . We had a very large party and a very long wait time . Didn't really want to post anything thing then since they were so new. Tonight, it was just two of us. I ordered the nacho skillet and the hubby ordered the 19something. The nacho skillet was okay. I prefer my beef on nachos cut a bit so you can have a piece with almost every bite. The 19... platter well, the taco had cold ground beef. Most of their food is a bit spicy. I'm Hispanic but....the pork tamale with chili and cheese was just not something I would order again. The cheese enchilada was with red sauce...can't change it ...no substitutions. Using a cheese enchilada is my favorite...not here. Needless to say, probably will not be back.
google avatar

Sara S.

Yelp
I came here with my mom and 3 daughters over dinner. We were seated quickly and ordered reasonably quickly. Our server was kind and the place was decorated cute. I didn't feel wowed by the food. It's pretty basic to me. The kids meal was filling for my 2 and 5 year old. The chips and cheese was good. They have a full bar which had some tasty looking treats. But it was all just okay.

Yelp
Had a fun time tonight. Not much that you could go wrong with---the shrimp tacos, the enchiladas, you name it!! Variety of seating options and a fun atmosphere in the middle of downtown Bentonville. I can't wait to go back to try other menu options. Service good. Definitely worth a visit.

Kari L.

Yelp
When we first visited T&T, the tacos literally 'wowed' us! Unfortunately, each time we've been since our first visit has been less & less favorable. This last time, I got the pickle-fried chicken tacos & they were very cold & unnecessarily messy. However, I was pleasantly surprised that they finally added a rice side option, but it did seem to have been sitting for a while. The other issue we had is seating/noise level. Those tiny tables for 2 down the middle of the aisles are awful. My husband & I have been seated there twice & we can't even have a conversation because it's so loud & chaotic 360° around us. Those shouldn't be there. I know it's common for Mexican restaurants to be super packed in & loud, but we won't be back because that's just not the vibe we're going for. (Totally understand that's a preference & most people probably don't mind! Just sharing for reference if you want a date night to actually be able to chat with your significant other. )

Yelp
Enjoyed dinner with a friend on a Tuesday evening. Difficult to park nearby yet tasty food once you are seated. We enjoyed the chips and queso very much. As well, the ribeye fajitas were excellent - very tender and full of flavor. Interesting take to add cheese to the top yet the crispy edges were delicious. Service was fair - could have been a bit more friendly. The place has a nice vibe albeit noisy.

Yelp
Walked in at 8 pm. Seated right away. Ordered a Mexican Coke and a viper margarita. The viper was very flavorful. We had guacamole as an app, delta tamales, grilled shrimp, and kids quesadilla and taco combo. Guacamole was homemade but on the bland side for us. The tamales are slightly spicy and about the size of a large cigar to keep in mind when you are ordering. The grilled shrimp were fresh and good. The kids taco was on the spicy side, but the quesadilla was perfect. Portion sizes were on the smaller side. Overall good experience.
