A must eat when in Hanoi. Excellent service and food is amazing. Can not praise this place enough. You will not regret it! Owner is amazing and she does not stop helping! You must visit!!! Feels like you are part of the family 💕

Chose to give this place a try based on the many good reviews from the gluten free community. The owner (I believe) is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about gluten free. Gluten free items are not marked on the menu, but she took the time to calmly walk me through the options available and also to tell me what ingredients to look out for in general in Vietnam. I ordered the chicken noodle soup twice and an omelette with white rice the third time and I enjoyed it all. It’s also super affordable which I know all of us gluten free people appreciate!

Great food! I loved the egg noodle and the omelette (omlette was a big size). I definitely recommend both dishes! Chicken salad was okay too!

Best Pho that I have eaten in Hanoi. Especially delicious is the BBQ meat Pho! As I have celiac disease it’s hard to find a restaurant where they know for sure about the gluten in the food. Here the owner is very helpful, and knows exactly what you can eat and where can be a hidden gluten. Also great fried spring rolls and Bún Chà.

Decent restaurant with tasty foods. Everything was well done and came super quickly. Spring rolls were a bit greasy but everything else would order again.

We came here today on Tet 1st day because most of the restaurant were closed and I quite fancy to give their mango smoothie a try since we came 2 days ago (the 2 photos I shared). Last time there was this young boy who's quite grumpy as a staff, but the rest of the staff were pretty nice, the owner even told us they only close in the morning of Tet. So last time the experience was still ok. Today, the young boy was at the outside tables while we arrived, when we walked towards him, he was enjoying himself walking around happily. The moment we told him we would like a table for two, his face immediately turned black and didn't respond to us at all. So we thought ok, we'd just find a table ourselves. When we sat down, we tried a few times to ask him to take order as there was no other staff around, he completely ignored us with black face even he walked pass us and we asked him right in front of him when he passed by. Then finally we saw another staff and tried to ask him to order but he pointed us back to this young boy. All these times the owner saw it but she didn't try to come and help. Finallly we decided to leave and look for something else. I think other potential customers deserve the right to know about this kind of treatment.

We came here for lunch as the lady boss was always smiling and inviting customers to enter, and this was next to the Bonsella hotel. Once we got in, service was a little dour but still quick. We ordered the egg and vegetable fried rice, which was okay. The beef spring roll with lemon grass (4 pieces) was better and was eaten with fresh vegetables in a rice paper roll. The Saigon beer was good but the missus said the lemon tea came out of a can.

Hunted down Bep Viet on recommendation from @glutenfreehanoi (a must follow if you are GF/celiac and travelling to Hanoi). Owner is absolutely delightful, very knowledgeable on food allergies and clearly told me (celiac) what I could/couldn’t have. Travelling with non-celiac sons and they also highly recommend. Menu is extensive, food was fresh and flavourful. Half way through our trip and I’ve been twice already. If you have food allergies and are travelling to Hanoi make this your first stop. The fresh pineapple juice is another must have.
