Beqa Lagoon Resort

Fantastic time. Incredibly welcoming staff. They try hard to make sure you have a good time. The dive teams were fantastic. I dive on two boats with different crews and both were very professional and helpful. They did a great job of finding good dive sites even when the weather was challenging. Ravu, Tusi, sivi and Captain Joe and Tom were great. Jerry, Frazier and Nix were also very helpful. Captain Pee did a great job. I also did a night dive where junior and Gun were the guides. They did a nice job of keeping everyone safe and finding lots of creatures. Overall this was a great experience with excellent professional, friendly guides/captains/crew.

A small piece of paradise… peaceful, relaxed, remote but still comfortable, with some of the most amazing diving I have done. This intimate, eco-conscious, destination is full of wildlife, culture, and genuine good vibes. The food is delightful, the accommodations clean and comfortable and the staff is highly attentive and warm. We saw sharks, an amazing wreck, worlds of hard and soft corral and the largest quantities and varieties of fish and other sea life. We planted corral to help build the reef, our teenage girls got their scuba certifications, and we learned so much about the Fijian culture. Highly recommend!!!

I had a lovely week at the Beqa Lagoon Dive Resort. The staff (both seen and behind the scenes) were top notch. Each person made me feel welcome and the ones I interacted with remembered my name. I booked 2 massages and both were excellent - the first with Ligia and the second with Mah. I appreciated that both checked in during the massages to ask if the pressure of the deep tissue was ok. ||The dive shop staff were always friendly and helpful. I dove on one boat all week with the same dive team. Liviana was our captain and the 3 dive masters were Suli, Gun, and Junior. Each of the dive masters were excellent and were patent in pointed out the various sea creatures that were new for me. Thanks to their help, I was able to see electric clam, leaf fish, magic coral, feather coral, and best of all - I was able to spend several minutes close to an octopus just observing him! ||I participated in 2 afternoon activities - the visit to the village and the kayaking I the mangroves. Both were enjoyable. and the evening activities were entertaining.||The room was large with very comfortable beds: the grounds were beautiful, and the food was delicious. ||The only downside was the dive conditions; the first night there was a storm with heavy rain and strong winds which resulted in poor visibility most of the week. ||Overall, an excellent week!

Best vacation of my life. Everything about this trip was stellar. The room, the food, and especially the activities. A local Dive Shop made the reservations and I tagged along with my daughter. Our guide, Jay was wonderful. He took us snorkeling, kayaking, to the local village schools, and to the city Suva, where we visited the Museum, a craft market, and a great place for lunch. He was very knowledgeable about island culture, creatures of the sea, and reef restoration. Plus, he is a caring and entertaining guide. I highly recommend this resort.

A lovely resort right next to a great dive centre. Staff go out of their way to be helpful and friendly - a lovely atmosphere. The resort includes local culture and heritage shows and visits to the local village with more still available on a paid basis. Very relaxed, very friendly with a low key feel. I am not a ‘resort person’ generally but went as part of an organised diving group and enjoyed my time at Beqa Lagoon Resort. Great local shark dives as well as diving amongst soft corals and swim throughs organised by the very well run dive centre next door. I would recommend this friendly resort.

Beqa Lagoon offers multiple dive packages. My dive buddies were psyched about the shark dives - it wasn't on my "Christmas List" :) It was my first shark dive experience and... IT WAS THE BEST! The safety of divers is taken to the maximum as - yes our life depends on it. The shark dive guides are very knowledgeable about shark behaviors with years of involvement with shark conservation. They made me feel safe while diving and exited about knowledge about sharks, out of the frenzy common fear of sharks. During shark dive they had the guides feeding sharks, and "shepherds" guides who are positions all around the observer / guests, divers hidden behind a low wall with perfect view arena for sharks having a feast! Unforgettable experience - very well organized! That is a key to safe shark dive! Pick a knowledgeable group! Beqa Lagoon has all my boxes checked! I want to go back... AJ

I absolutely loved our time at Beqa lagoon resort! We went in November 2025 and the head of the dive shop, Garth, was absolutely outstanding. The diving was esquire, the organization of the shop was immaculate as well. Garth was attentive and made our trip extra special by accommodating our every need and request. We also adored our crew, monny, papa, Frazier and levai. They were all so kind and lovely. Garth is running a tight ship at the dive shop here, and I guarantee you will have an amazing time under Garth’s watch! The staff at the resort was so friendly, fun and really made our experience 10 stars. I wish I could rate higher! We were Devastated to leave and we’re already planning our return trip.

My wife and I had a tremendous experience. The dive shop staff is top notch and their diligence during the Cathedral shark dive provided an extra level of safety when the tiger sharks joined us in force. We look forward to diving with this team again.
