The most amazing little museum. The Heritage centre is in 2 buildings, one full of boating bits, the other pottery, pipes and bottles from American Indian times right through the colonial period.
There is a really informative PP which highlights how important Bequia was as a safe port; so safe Black Beard refurbished Queen Anne's Revenge here. It also provides a great wider context for the island. The Museum Guide provided even more information, and is both knowledgeable and enthusiastic (passionate even) about the island and it's history.
The toilet facilities are clean and the ladies is a 'room with a view' for sure, and there is wheel chair access to everything.
The place if professionally set up and a really credit to the Heritage Organisation who have clearly worked exceptionally hard to get this up and running; a proper gem for anyone visiting Bequia.
I can't recommend it highly enough. Well worth the entry fee; and wow, the views!
I should note it is only open week days
