Berawa Village

Last night our neighbor was incredibly noisy. The noise level was unbearable. Even at 2 a.m., there was no sign of it getting any better, so we went over and knocked. The man from Africa then verbally attacked us, and threatened to grab stones and signs. He accused us of being racists. But all I wanted was to sleep. I screamed for help when he became increasingly aggressive and wouldn't leave Manu alone. I screamed louder and louder until, after several minutes, a security guard finally arrived. All the other doors remained locked. Even then, he didn't stop. He threatened to break our noses. The security guards did what was necessary, but I didn't want to sleep there. It wouldn't have been possible anyway, because the attacker wouldn't calm down. So, at 2:30 a.m., we were taken to a neighboring hotel with our most important belongings. We're waiting here now, hoping the man will move out. I don't think I've ever been as scared as I was last night. No one has ever been so aggressive. So completely unreasonable. They were spoiling for a fight. Berawa Village unfortunately didn't help us at all; on the contrary, they refused to even refund our money. Unfortunately, I can't recommend them, and this is actually a matter for the police.

We had a very noisy neighbor. He made noise the whole day and at 2 AM we decided to knock at his door, to ask that he can be quiet now. It was an african guy, he immediately yelled at us and got aggressive. He didn‘t stop and wanted to fight, even repeatedly saying he „is going to kill us“. He grabbed a nearby sign (wet floor) and used it as weapon. Also picked up stones and wanted to throw them on us. First there was no security guy, my girlfriend shouted for help. After around 10 minutes, there appeared a security guy and could not calm the aggressive guy. He just prevented a fight. He thought, the guy was on drugs… Then we had to go to another apartment of the cpm bali group. We had to stay there the whole following day. They promised to get rid of the guy. But even at 9pm he was still there on the premise. So we decided to move out, because this guy was such a threat to us. Later we got to hear from the personell that they have moved this problem guy from apartment to other apartment to other apartment, all managed by cpm bali group. Because he made problems everywhere. So they knew, this guy is a problem and just moved him in as our neighbor! We then stayed two nights in other hotel on our own costs and wanted refund for the remaining days, to go somewhere else. Because we don‘t feel safe there any more. But they refused to refund. Only after threatening them with police, we got some offers to go to another apartment of the group. But every offer was some sort of downgrade (just a mini pool or poor wifi or very loud construction and noisy rooms). So now, we are back at the initial apartment and hope our best. They still refuse to bear for the costs we payed at another hotel for the nights, where the aggressive guy was still on the premise. I‘m writing this review, just to inform other people, what will happen if there is a security problem (hint: not much). So please be aware!

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect! The staff was very attentive to our needs, replies instantly in the group chat. The room was spacious and clean, perfect for 2 of us. The location was great too, close to a lot of massage shops and restaurants. They also had security outside the villa and we felt really safe during our stay there.

The location is strategic, close to everything The staff is also friendly and very responsive Complete facilities, a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for resting or working I will definitely return if I have the chance, Highly recommended 🙏

For safety reasons, I really hope this issue will be addressed properly in the future, especially since a male guest attacked a female guest. It’s unacceptable that the woman had to wait 10–15 minutes. If something worse had happened, would the management take responsibility? You only apologized, but there was no firm action taken against the attacker.

This safe hotel environment, friendly staff, and comfortable will always be a beautiful memory. recommend for a vacation with family and I guarantee they will never regret it.🥰🥰😍😍

Berawa Village has no costumer service at all and you are not safe at all here especially as a female. They don't protect their guests. I can't recommend to stay here 👎👎👎
