Berd's Hotel

It was an outstanding experience, especially the service in the restaurant. The food was worth it's recommendations, the most i adored ostrich. I was served by a young lady, don't remember her name, but she was really welcoming, cheerful and made my dinner feel even better! Hope when I will come back to Moldova, i will receive the same warm greetings and service. Also would like to join the gastro dinner, which my waitress recommended me.

Berd's is not super centrally located, but you can easily reach the entire city centre on foot in around 30 minutes. I was surprised to find a bottle of sparkling wine, fruit and nibbles in my room as a welcome gift. The breakfast buffet is not as extensive as in other hotels, but there is also a small menu with omelettes etc. which you can have freshly prepared. During my first stay at Berd's in August '23 this menu was available on all tables, during my current stay in May '25 it was only handed out to us on the third morning. The omelette I ordered on the first morning was charged for. However, after complaining on departure, this was corrected without hesitation, as I had booked a rate including breakfast. Something from the minibar, which was on the bill but which I had not consumed, was also corrected without any problems. The bar and restaurant are great with super friendly staff. Adam and Ilya in particular take excellent care of their guests and make it hard to say goodbye. It was my second time at Berd's and I will definitely stay there again when I go back to Chisinau.

This review refers to the beauty salon at the hotel, where I had a very disappointing experience. I booked an appointment based on the prices listed on their booking platform (up to 1100 lei for a haircut including light styling). However, when it came to pay, they tried to charge me 1850 lei for styling with some special hair products, which weren’t even used. Moreover, the styling was basic. I contested the price and showed them the booking confirmation including the price from our instagram chat. In the same chat, I asked them to confirm the price for a day makeup (700 lei on the booking platform) and they stated that it would be around 1200 lei, which had alarmed me before I even visited the salon and for a good reason as it turned out. I strongly advise anyone considering this salon to be very cautious. Make sure you get all pricing confirmed in writing beforehand. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to others due to the lack of price transparency, which seemed to be a regular practice at the salon.

This is a very nice hotel. Clean in good condition and nice design. Breakfast could perhaps be a bit improved but overall a solid choice in Chisinau.

If I am not mistaken the only 3 hotel chain options in Chisinau are Courtyard, Radisson Blu, and this MGallery. We chose the latter for our stay. All in all, MGallery was not bad considering the very limited competition but could have been better. ||Originally our upgrade as Accor Diamond was only +1 room category and I told them this is stingy because they give the same to lesser tiers Accor Gold and Accor Platinum. After a phone call, the receptionist upgraded us +2 instead. While the room was moderately spacious and reasonably nice, nonetheless it fell short of suite which we get in other cities or with other hotel chains. The room was decent quality with hardwood floor and thick windows blocking noise from street in front of our low floor room. Welcome drinks were not limited to beer & wine, we could pick any signature cocktails which were both very well done by the barman so we enjoyed. ||As per the terms and benefits of Accor Diamond, we get free breakfast 7/7 days in Asia-Pacific but not elsewhere so here we only got free breakfast on weekend mornings. It was ok, standard stuff plus some nice features such as grilled veggies, bowl of berries, and sparkling wine. The restaurant super quiet and enjoyable. But 23 EUR per person seemed steep by local standards so we went outside the hotel rather than pay on non-weekends in order to get a bit more variety by doing so. ||The location of MGallery is quite poor; Radisson Blu is infinitely better. If I was returning to Chisinau I would try the latter, possibly end up in a suite as Radisson VIP tier guest, get free breakfast every day, and be in top location. For cheaper than MGallery.||So BERD's MGallery was a nice hotel but not enough to guarantee my future business and I would rather try alternatives next time.

Wow! What a hotel experience! I stayed there for 3 nights about a month ago, and this hotel left a really good impression. From the airport pickup to the room design and comfort to the amenities and the restaurant, what a great place to stay! The personalized touches like the fruit platter, cookie jar, bottle of sparkling wine was great and personalized note from the manager were very thoughtful! The rooms are very modern and spacious, with great amenities (I felt like the bathroom floor was heated?), l’occitane bath products and lotions, more toiletries than you usually get ( toothbrush, shaving kit, etc) a separate shower and bathtub, a very cool closet design. I also tried the spa area and it was quite decent, with a bucket shower, hammam, classic sauna, infrared sauna (extra charge), a hot tub and these small illuminated pools of very cold and warm water for the feet. I also had a massage and it was decent probably 4/5 The restaurant was also pretty good and I’ll leave a separate review. Minor hiccups: 1. The TV was in an odd place (hanging from the wall perpendicular to the bed) and the TV channels didn’t work 2. The gym is a bit small but well Equipped, and there is no swimming pool although there was a hammam and two saunas. 3. Soundproofing for street noise could be better

World Class property with cool modern architecture. I was especially drawn to the wall to wall to floor marble in the bathroom, very luxurious... enjoyed one of the best breakfast buffets ever, the food was so good... and the team there are extraordinary... everyone I met was warm, accommodating, and very friendly... Alexandru (spell?) at the front desk was the best... he went well beyond the call of duty to make everything more perfect plus he also made excellent recommendations for excursions and even found me a great tour guide, Valery who gave me an excellent private tour for 2 days. Chisinau is a wonderful place and the team at Berds are people who represent the finest Moldova has to offer... God Bless Berds !

What a great place to be. It’s more than just an hotel. I feel like at home since from my first visit eight years ago. All the staff members from top to bottom are magnificent. Thank you BERD’S Family.
