A magic Place. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house with its magnificent garden. Virginia has a great taste for furniture and decoration. There are many different seating areas so you will always find a quiet corner for yourself. The pool has just the right size and is super clean like the whole place. The breakfast is served on separate tables in the lush garden with coffee, baguette, croissant, honey and homemade jam is simple but tasty. Next door are 2 great restaurants . We had a great Dinner at Casa Gia. But also the town centre of Forcalqiere is close by. The bergerie is a perfect hideaway.

We had a charming ground floor room opening on to the garden. Plenty of chairs to enjoy the tranquillity. Simple but good breakfasts taken at small tables dotted around the room. Virginie is one of the friendliest hostesses one could find. She cheerfully took us in to town for a meal and drove back to pick us up. ||Two dogs and a cat were prepared to be friendly if approached but didn't 'worry' non pet lovers. A homely, comforting environment.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a walking holiday. The room was comfy and spacious, the shower modern and we had a sitting area just outside. The pool is a treat after a day of walking. Virginie is a delightful hostess who provided an ample French breakfast in the garden and also a delicious packed lunch for our walk. We also loved meeting all the dogs. Many thanks.

This place is very well decorated and set up. The rooms were excellent and the setting was lovely. It's a bit of a walk to town without a car. The hostess is charming and helpful. We had a dinner that we didn't find to our taste or good value. Although a regional specialty we found that boiled potatoes, carrots, cauliflower and eggs with ailoi and nothing else not great for entree and main. The cheese was nice but dessert not homemade. Breakfast: the preserves were nice.

We spent two nights here. We had two bedrooms and an en suite so were well pleased. While dinner is not provided there is a restaurant just down the road and our host also drove us into Forcalquier one night which was very kind. The house is set in extensive and very relaxing grounds with lots of quiet and shaded places to sit. There is also a pleasant swimming pool. We were served breakfast in the garden which was a great start to each day. Very helpful hosts.

made very welcome by Virginie. Upstairs room very simply furnished but large and good size bathroom. simple breakfast of good bread and home made preserves, taken in the morning sun in the garden. No evening meals provided but the hotel is within 2 minutes walk of an excellent restaurant. Host did give lifts to another guest who needed this and made dinner reservations for us. There is an outdoor, but undercover, kitchen for guests who want to cater for themselves

We stayed here for 2 nights of a walking holiday and were very pleased with the comfortable room (around the end of the building, so secluded and cool on the hottest days) and with the host's friendly, welcoming and helpful manner. Like with others, she even took us to town herself when we wanted to get dinner there. Breakfast in the gardens was especially nice - simple (bread, jams, coffee, yoghurt) and tasty in the warming morning air. The picnic provided was better than most. It's hard to say enough good about this place and the proprietor.

Our stay here was memorable in many respects but especially for Virginie's kindness when we were caught in a thunderstorm whilst out walking. She came to collect us and helped us to dry out. We enjoyed our breakfasts round the table and sitting out on the terrace and the garden. We were happy to walk into Forcalquier to explore the town and find interesting little restaurants. We also ate an exquisite meal at the restaurant just round the corner. A beautiful house with very helpful hosts. Merci beaucoup.
