Berghaus Alpenrösli is a charming alpine lodge perched at 1450 meters above sea level in the peaceful Monbiel area of Klosters. Surrounded by forest trails and overlooking the Prättigau valley, this seasonal mountain retreat is beloved for its warm hospitality, traditional Swiss atmosphere, and stunning panoramic views. It’s the perfect hideaway for nature lovers, hikers, and couples looking to disconnect from the world and immerse themselves in authentic alpine serenity.

In our approximately 10 years of skiing and biking with the boys around Klosters and Davos, it became tradition to hike up to Alpenrösli the last day and either walk or sled down to our chalet. It was always the highlight of the week except I broke my ankle on the last time on the sled. Btw, Davos has a wonderful hospital with doctors that are very experienced in bone fractures and a company right next to them that produces Orthopedic plates and screws. That being said, I highly recommend both places ;)

Lovely restaurant and exceptional service by a highly customer-oriented team. Try the fondue - it‘s the best in the area! Not to speak of the views - a great hide-out to spend quality time!

On a busy sunny Christmas Day the staff was very efficient, friendly and professional. The food was delicious and the location is exceptional. Beware though, that cars are not allowed (for non residents of the hotel), and restaurant guests have to climb a long path(1.1km) at 1.400m altitude to reach the location. Worth the visit!

Thank you team as always it was an amazing experience. Gina and her team are outstanding, friendly and super accommodating. We are regulars there and never had a chance to give to the team my gratitude. We shall be back….

We came here for lunch and even though it was still winter we were able to sit out on the terrace in glorious sunshine. The view is incredible over Klosters and the mountains. The food was absolutely delicious too - I tried the local rosti and some local Swiss wine, topped off by a local berry pie (Sanddorne). The service was delightful and I would 100% come back again for more of the same. Luckily my sister-in-law has a place in Klosters so that will most likely happen!

The walk up from the middle of Klosters is easily 40 minutes, almost all up (a steep) hill but totally worthwhile. We arrived tired but very hungry and ready for the pre-booked fondue. Beautiful salad starters and a modest bottle of wine ensured that this was never going to be a cheap meal however the service was excellent and we had a fabulous evening topped off by a crazy sledge ride with head torches back to the village.

we made a stopover during heavy snow in the winter of 2019 when holidaying at Davos switserland, the whole thing, including the sledge down, was a nice experience, the Restaurant gives the opportunity to take a sledge down the hill, Beware to break in time !!. Nice people, it was quiet because of the weather and we had the best service one could wish for. good affordable food of good standard and quality, we struggled back in the snow and keep a nice memory. Well sign posted when you cross from the station to go up the mountain. also a good walk from there to Klosters, with beautifull views (when the snow is not there)
