Berghotel Randolins St. Moritz

What an amazing experience! The front desk helped us so much with everything - from taxi to reservation. The room was stunning, views of the mountains. The breakfast buffet was very tasty. Extremely helpful staff, helped us set up multiple taxis and the resort was absolutely stunning. Do not waste your time anywhere else - stay here!

Great location, clean, confortable. Walking distance to the ski lift. Great breakfast buffet in the hotel, tranquil location, free shuttle is a plus! Ideally for those who love to ski and don’t want to pay the premium of staying in St Moritz!

Pros: Value, location to skiing, the ski/boot room lockers. Nice service at front desk, answered all questions, rooms were spacious, food (especially breakfast), shuttle is a nice service, saunas are nice. Cons: The hot tub is cold--On purpose. Both the indoor and outdoor ones are kept in the high 80s, low 90sF making them essentially unusable. Shuttle hours are restrictive (were not able to pick us up or drop off at train station because were not running) as are use of the saunas. Hotel room itself was very hot/humid with no ability to turn down (had radiator off) had to open a window in February. Fondue twice a week which meant we missed it.

The reason for visiting Randolins was to stay in the Sternwarte Observatory an utterly unique accommodation high up above St Moritz. It’s really not for everyone, set over 3 floors and accessed via a step ladder but once you are there it’s a once in a lifetime view of the stars and far away galaxies from your bed. WOW! Just WOW! We stayed up late and got up early to see the sun rise over our feet! The mechanism allows for 1/2 a tour of the observatory giving you outstanding views across the mountains and lakes. A 100 cows even came by the door to complete the Swiss scene to perfection. The facilities were great with our own bathroom on level 1, mechanism room on level 2, and bedroom with retracting roof on level 3. Utterly unique. The hotels itself had a wonderful restaurant with a hearty breakfast. Half way up the mountain, this is a great place to start a walk or bike ride. We had a full range of experiences when on night 2 it poured with rain, had thunder and lightening which prevented star gazing, flooded the floor and soaked us walking to the bus stop a good half a mile away. None the less it was an absolutely unique visit thank you.

Excellent hotel with very nice service by the hotel hosts at the reception, in the restaurant. Good knowledge about the environment and tips. Really enjoyed our stay. Already have an option for the next year.

Highly recommend this lovely hotel in the lap of nature! Spacious rooms with great views. Everything was perfect. Meals were delicious and regional. Spa was a great welcome after long day. Staff were professional and friendly as was the shuttle driver. We saw a huge parking and children area as well. Dinner: delicious and with lots of choices. Do recommend it fully. We bought their regional hazelnut tart! It is delicious!!

The best service to date in Switzerland..Sergio is so helpful and super kind with his smiles and jokes makes us feel so at home... making our vacation a memorable one. Will definitely come back to this hotel if we come to Switzerland again. Highly recommended...Sergio you are the best..

We had a great stay at Randolins. It’s a beautiful location with convenient shuttle service into St Moritz. We had breakfast and dinner here every day of our stay and it was really delicious (just beware tap water costs 5CHF). The rooms are minimalistic but clean and cozy. Staff is super kind and helpful.
