Open parking lot no need to grab the ones as you turn in. The coffee and tea is excellent. Open and airy inside with sofa tables soft arm chairs. Breakfast sandwiches, dozens of lunch choices and many sundry items like cards, ceramics, candy etc. Restrooms in store to right as you walk in. Definitely a must stop.

Cute country store with amazing food. I have gotten a bunch of sandwiches here and they have all been really good. Cookies and baked goods are also awesome. You can eat on the stone wall outside overlooking Haystack Mountain. They do call ahead orders, which I would highly recommend.

Berkshire has great food with a friendly atmosphere. They have a great selection of breakfast and lunch items, plus gluten free rolls and bread. They also have a selection of fresh baked goods from a local bakery, plus other interesting local items for sale.

Venison Jerky Found. Very cool country store. It's a deli, it's a convenience store, it's a coffee shop. The store is super clean and the staff is very friendly.

Warm and welcoming! This is great place to pick up a bagel and hot coffee when heading out in the morning or a sandwich for lunch. Often I just nurse my coffee in the winter looking at the beautiful snowcapped hills. The dining room feels warm and welcoming.

Breakfast wraps out of this world! All of them, although the corned beef has a special place in my heart and tummy.

We stopped here after a hike at Cambell Falls. The sandwich was YUMMY and the staff was lovely . So many options and some great art for sale . We will definitely come back .

Was in the mood for a quick sandwich. And we stopped here. Inside is adorable. Such a quaint country store, and clean! I chose the Tex mex wrap. It has chicken, lettuce, salsa, cheese and sour cream. The wrap was hearty and filling. Great service from the you g staff!!!

Good people trying to help this isolated community. They deliver the best. Their food is great. Each order specially made and delicious. I consider them a pillar of our community. Wonderful people.

Really liked stopping by this store and I hope to again soon. Its clean and has an updated look to it, making it inviting without clashing with the vibe of the community. Staff were friendly and the service is spot on. I wish I could give 4.5 stars since the issues I am having is more of a polish in their offerings and might be too niche for the area? I see a lot of potential in the business as they already offer gluten free options for Pizza and Cauliflower bites for example (hopefully soy free?). I do wish they embraced alternative ingredients, not sure if they do with their deli meats to name one but I would gladly pay a premium for organic and/or locally sourced ingredients across their menu. Additionally it would be great to have vegan options (Cashew cheese please!) when it comes to another cheese topping option for their pizzas. Last item is how they fry their food, I can partake though less frequently their options but it would be healthier to incorporate Sunflower or Safflower oil for example. I have heard other businesses transitioning away from Canola and Vegetable oil for health reasons (again worth the premium). Additionally their smoking point temperatures are higher than that of Canola and Vegetable oil blends, with Safflower being the highest of commonly used oils. I would like to wrap up by saying I don't expect things to change but it would be absolutely wonderful if they did in the details I have mentioned. I also don't want to rock the boat and drive up prices way high but it may be within reason if its just a few cents more? Way to go Ryan in managing your business so well and for being open to feedback about your establishment, I wish you and your staff continued success!

THIS little cafe/deli my honey and I ran into before our fun date really made our day that much better. The entire little area was full of cafes and bakeries. I got the Maine vibes because of the amazing little view we had from the window of the cafe. All the flowers and cute rustic house second hand seating was such a vibe. My honey and I were dressed like homeless farmers so we might have ruined the esthetic for everyone else lol. As photographed attached you'll see I got the Holly's wild child and the chipotle mayo in it was so good i wiped off the dripping from the paper my sandwich sat on and licked it lol, don't ask me how I still have a bf. and my honey got the Corned beed sandwich, I tried it and it was delish as well! As I said this was a very random place like the majority of what we choose but it was one of those spots I know Ill want to visit again. Super cute (even the food was plated so cute) thumbs up!

Decent store with most of what you would want to find and several items that will surprise you. You can get everything from snacks and happy hour food, dessert, and the makings of a full meal. The people are great and it is pretty easy to snag a few gifts for when you return home. The quality of the items looks to be excellent across the board. This is a very solid, reliable stop if you're staying in the area and don't want to plan ahead or just want a local sampling. Well worth the stop!

Never open breakfast is horrible but I still can get my Dr Pepper so y'all get a 1 I mean the French fries are good

This is a quick place to stop in for to go food plus they have some tables. There are designated cooks and one or two people running the register. The food was ok, good. The issue was I watched people so had been behind me in one get their food, again and again, while we waited.

Excellent service! The staff is friendly, efficient and accommodating, while still adhering to the COVID requirements. The fresh baked goods are delicious! The Deli is open with access to some gift items, candy and food products, but browsing and eating indoors is currently not allowed. I'm sure if you see something you like they will bring it to you. I loved the bamboo Connecticut shaped cutting boards and other bamboo items. We hope to return for lunch and to check out the rest of the store after restrictions are lifted.

This quaint little country store offers everything you need and more. The staff working here are extremely kind, friendly, helpful, accommodating and above all, safe by the ways and means of businesses these days. I'd recommend stopping by this spot if you're in the area, or using it as a go-to if you're local.

A very pleasant store with all you maybe for an emergency stock up (and the convenience cost to go along with it). We stopped for sandwiches after farmers marketing, and they have a good selection for breakfast and lunch. The sandwiches were over priced for what was received. My little bit of mayo turned into a slather on both sides of the bread, and the cold chicken cutlet was not what another was expecting (although to be fair, as his sister I've been telling him to ask better questions for over 20 years now, and hopefully the experience will add, "is your chicken cutlet warm or cold" to his repertoire). But they were pretty quick, have indoor and outdoor seating (the dog appreciated the former, as well as the shade of the building). If I lived in Norfolk, I would def sign up for their after hours shopping, that sounds amazing!

Stopped in for dinner with a friend who is playing the festival. The store is cool-- it's got an old school, general store vibe. They have a nice selection of everyday products and an even nicer selection of local snacks and toiletries. There's a deli counter and indoor/ outdoor seating, so it's a nice place to sit and converse over a meal. I had the pastrami Reuben, fries and a peanut butter cookie-- delicious!! Hot, fresh and tasty! The fries were stellar and the cookie was just as soft as it looked in the baked goods case. My friends all enjoyed their meals as well. If you're in the Norfolk area, stop in and grab something to eat! Highly recommend.

First time here and what a fantastic country store. Huge selection of beverages, they even have Stewart's sodas which I used to get all the time when I lived in upstate New York. Looks like they have a great selection from the deli as well. Definitely pop in and visit.

This is a very cute shop with cider donuts and other treats. The sandwiches are great and the staff is super friendly! They have some nice essentials as well as local fair in the shop. Highly recommend! Update: this place has my favorite breakfast sandwich outside of Boston!! A must try!

I just moved to Norfolk and found out their was a store/deli in the small town. Berkshire Country Store is a wonderful place to go. Food is awesome and the staff Wow . You walk in and everybody has a smile on their face and pleasant. I go quite often and try something new all the time. Haven't had a bad experience yet. Love this place.

A quaint setting for a general store among the small town of Norfolk. Prices are reasonable for a small-town store and they have an awesome hot cooked and cold food selection. The bakery looks tasty, just no gluten free. You can still enjoy! Its an experience, not just a pit stop for some grub on the road. You'll want to have a seat at the old wooden tables and take in the view of the mountains as you sip inspiration blend medium roast.

It seems to have it all: coffee, internet, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, convenience-style selection of groceries with some high-end items elegantly displayed. It is spacious with ample seating. The manager is friendly, upbeat.

We love going to the Berkshire Country Store! It has great sandwiches, excellent customer service and has all your pantry needs so it's very convenient. Staff is very friendly.

The perfect place for breakfast!! They have delicious food and it's probably the cheapest breakfast within 20 miles of my home. The atmosphere is great and the business owner is friendly and happy to help his team.

PIZZA!!! I am not one to get nuts over most food offerings, anywhere. I expect good food. If you offer it, you should be able to prepare and serve it properly. The Berk is a country store that has a deli and offers food. I would stack their food operation as one of the best. Quiet, unassuming, very well executed and best of all, VERY GOOD. Their pizza is better than many pizza restaurants. The price is average, the quality superb. The crust is thick style, the sauce is flavorful without interfering with the flavors of the cheese and toppings. VERY WELL DONE Ryan & Natasha!

If you want the most amazing breakfast sandwich you have ever tasted then you need to get to the Berkshire deli. I love the ambience of the place. Most of all, the staff is not only extremely friendly but they make you feel like you are having breakfast at their home. I loved everything about my stop here. It is definitely a great stop!!!

Awesome location! So glad to see this new store up and running and looking FANTASTIC! Owner Is so friendly, he just makes you feel so welcome. We got the Maple morning special and the Gardner's Special! Wow!!!! You won't be disappointed I promise! Can't wait for warmer weather to explore the town and come back for lunch!

Happened upon this little place last weekend and was so pleased we visited again this morning. The owner (sorry i cant recall your name) is very engaging and customer focused as are his employees. The food is fantastic and the environment very welcoming. With a selection of local and regional stuff (sodas, soaps, syrups, etc) Id highly reccomend stopping.

Cute store for pre-packaged products. Did not have a good experience from anything prepared for us. Chicken in sandwich was rubbery and had bad pieces. Ice cream was frost bitten. Very unhappy with my$12 purchase for those 2 poor quality items.

We drive over an hour from New Milford. We fell into this place a while ago and keep coming back. Good food, nice people and cool stuff to buy

Great place to stop in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Nice country store with a coffee bar, small grocery section complete with a variety of sodas and local honey and syrup. Salads, burgers, and sandwiches made to go. If you're going out for a hike or just want something to eat be sure to stop in! Highly recommend

Great local spot. Good food from the deli/kitchen. Wish there was a larger Kombucha section or maybe even on tap. But still it's a huge asset to the town and an awesome spot for a snack, or a meal!

What a great find! We stopped here for lunch on our way to Haystack Mountain State Park. Service and people were great, and I had the most delicious sandwich - the chicken caprese sandwich. We will definitely return!!

Just what the town needed! You can get almost anything here from breakfast to locally-made walking sticks. The people who run the store could not be nicer, and it's always a pleasure to stop in.

I had lunch here after hiking a short section of the Mohawk Trail. I'm so glad I stopped, because the food was great and the people are really cool. It's a great spot. There's indoor seating, ice cream, plus general merchandise.

I pass through the area often but have not stopped in since the new owners opened up. I called in an egg sandwich order as I was leaving Goshen. It was done to perfection when I arrived. While it's hard to make a bad egg sandwich, it's equally hard to make a great one. They make great ones. Nice toasted, buttered rolls. All done to perfection. Really a supurb egg sandwich. The whole place looks clean, friendly and inviting.

Great sandwiches.... I tried the bacon egg and cheese on a hard roll for breakfast, and it was so good I came back for lunch (turkey sandwich also hit the spot) Friendly staff and very clean with a surprisingly large amount of groceries in stock as well, I will definitely be making this place a staple of my eating routine!

Friendly staff and great food and service! Tough to ask for more. Try the Maple Morning sandwich! Great combo of slightly spicy sausage with sweet maple glaze. Great way to start the day.
