11 Best Airbnbs in Orlando for Disney Weekends and Winter Sun | Condé Nast Traveler

"This colorful one-bedroom in Winter Park packs a lot into a small footprint—beautiful artwork, tropical and feminine decor touches, a full eat-in kitchen, a living room, a workspace, and a queen bed—and the hosts can provide family essentials like a pack ’n play and high chair on request; note that the spot is attached to a modeling agency set back from a major road, so it’s not a traditional residential feel." - Meredith Carey

I’ve had the pleasure of being a vendor at several events hosted by Apartment Life at Berkshire Winter Park apartments and every experience has been amazing! The staff is always so organized, friendly, and easy to work with. The residents are welcoming and really bring great energy to each event. It’s clear this community values creating fun, well-planned experiences for everyone. I always look forward to working with them and hope to continue being a part of their future events! — JD Sweet Memories 📸 Follow along on Instagram: @JD_SWEETMEMORIES

Good Luck with the Paid Parking Decision. You really thought people would just accept it because they have no other choice, didn’t you? Now our guests have to pay to park. Seriously? As if it wasn’t already hard enough to find parking, now friends and family are being charged just to visit. This has nothing to do with community or convenience — it’s just another money grab. After the whole EV charging mess, this is yet another example of how greedy and out of touch management has become. It feels like they’re trying to put a price tag on every square inch of this place. It’s honestly sad. This used to feel like home. Now it feels like we’re being milked for every penny — from rent to trash fees to now guest parking. Whoever is making these decisions seriously needs a reality check.

Just when you think the parking situation here can’t get worse, they decide to charge guests to overnight park here. Every time I want to stay overnight at my girlfriend’s place I have to pay. It’s ridiculous. Pt 2. Weeks Later Website was acting funky to go pay my pass while entering the building. Go to the garage this morning and my car is gone. I’d rather have the ticket. Parking here sucks.

My first year living here was pleasant, the place has always had a lot of fees and renters are responsible not only for their own utilities but the community’s as well, which is something that other apartment complexes don't do. I appreciate that the place is clean, the pest control since I have never had infestations in my apartment, maintenance is available rapidly, the apartment complex is pretty and the appliances are decent and the enhanced security in terms of entering the building. Nonetheless, I had issues with my washer and dryer for years since moving in burning my clothes and leaving them dirty without any repair, they attributed it to the litter box which is ridiculous, since I have always had it in a laundry room my entire life without any problems. A week before i requested that a GE technician come check the dryer since there was no progress, the maintenance supervisor mentioned there was still nothing wrong with it. Once GE tech came, they confirmed there were issues with the dryer, and the apartment complex was quick to demand $900 to fix it even though the dryer was “perfectly fine” the majority of the time of my lease despite my complaints, as if the neglect didnt entirely contribute to its damage of inappropriate functioning for that long. And guess what? Once I got a new washer and dryer tower, the “litter” issue went away, the litter box was never moved. Guest parking has always been an issue, instead of fixing the parking garage and just moving the gates so people on the first floor can park on the first floor and allowing entrance of guests by a security system that determines that, they just charge nightly fees now. The funny thing is that if you pay the fee for reserved parking and someone parks there, the car will not be towed, but guests are quick to be towed out. When cars on the first floor got obliterated by criminals they did absolutely nothing to ensure the comfort of residents. Any type of request or issue is treated as an inconvenience and insufficiently resolved, even for things that you sign in the contract for to be taken seriously, like sound complaints from inconsiderate neighbors. I stopped bothering calling to report sound complaints because nothing would be done and just dealt with my apartment vibrating at all hours of the day and night from my upstairs neighbor since I dont have the time to be calling and dealing with the police for someone to just start blasting music after they are gone and dealing with the expenses of moving mid lease. On top of that, they keep adding more and more fees as if rent is already not expensive. I will not be renewing my lease after its up since I have had enough.

I’d like to say “Thank you” to the Apartment Life team for having Russo Wine Company as a vendor today! It was so much fun and the residents loved the wine selections! I look forward to the next marketplace event! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Guest parking fees, "Community" water fees, "Community" trash fees, and much more. Move here if you want inconsistency or to feel like you can't have any guest. OH and don't try to call them, they're never available! Adding some updates (May 2025): Returning to update my review because even when you try to be a good neighbor for some reason this place wants to make you feel like the bad guy. A lot of the residents who live here do not care to take care of the amenities. People in the gym will throw their weights around to the point that they’ve broken the glass in the gym. Today as I worked out I kindly told someone that they really shouldn’t be throwing the weights around. The guy got rude about me bringing this up and when I told the leasing office about the issue because he started to get more aggressive instead of respecting the shared space. The leasing staff then made it seem like i was being rude to a neighbor. I think the staff in the place has their priorities backwards. I’m a long term resident trying to ensure my own home and amenities are kept up with and they made it seem like I was in the wrong. Truly this place is not the same. You used to come into the amenities to a welcoming, clean environment with fun music playing and it just seemed like people (including the staff) cared about the community but it’s not like that anymore.

I have been a resident here for years but recent management issues have led to me GREATLY questioning resigning my lease. The location is great, but we are miles away from downtown so why do guests have to pay for parking now??? This change happened after signing my lease and was never communicated even over email. It feels like a bait and switch. The rooftop parking is completely unused most days, and there is an empty church parking lot most days, so why should my guests have to pay to visit me? unbelievable. Additionally, the elevators have been consistently broken, at times being unusable for over a month. This is insane for the price we pay to live here and is a major issue for handicapped accessibility needs. It seems like management cuts corners on things that actually matter to the community, while every month there is a new surprise fee. I occasionally see cockroaches in the hallways, including today, likely due to the trash rooms not getting cleaned regularly. So disappointed. I wanted to stay here long term but management refusing to communicate or address these concerns makes me want to take my rent money elsewhere.

Did an event here today with my ice cream truck, J's Cone Zone, and it was fantastic! Wendy with the apartment life team was very nice and helpful. Guests we all very supportive and seem to have a good time. Nice looking place with nice people!
