"With its lack of lederhosen and gigantic beer tents, Berlin’s beer festival is not quite Munich’s Oktoberfest, but it does have its own charms. For one, it takes place on the city’s historic Soviet boulevard Karl Marx Allee, which is unique in itself, and with over 2,000 types of beer (German and international), it draws a heady mix of locals, hipsters, and international beer fans from around the world. I joint a group of friends August 4th 2019 on a Sunday afternoon. We spent around 5-6 hours there. Very delightful experiences and great opportunities for people to really have a bit taste of beers from different countries.

Must visit for every beer enthusiast out there. Irrespective of your beer longing. They had it all. And with some scrumptious German foods. You could get the 200ml festival glass. That gave 2.5€ pours at almost all places. They also had great music at different places. It was best during the day and very crowded by evening. The people were very welcoming and friendly to tourists as myself.

Brilliant festival, atmosphere, food, drink and people. I've been twice with large groups of lads for various birthday celebrations and would go every year if I could. Highly recommended, just the right size festival for me.

Quality beers from all over the globe.great live music set up all along the festival so you can sit and enjoy your beer. The beer glass you can buy on entry (optional) is a perfect way to try a bit of everything without needing to buy a larger portion at the stands and also means you spend less money and have more opportunities to try a wider variety

One of the best beer experiences you can find with many German beers and a selection of international brews as well. This is a mile long stretch of road filled with beer booths from various breweries. There's also food and non-alcoholic drinks available. Some good entertainment with a number of stages spread along Karl Marx Alle.

Great laid back beer festival, with beer garden atmosphere. Over 2 kms of beer choices from a variety of breweries. You can get a special glass from the organisation tents which will get you some discounted prices (20 cl glass). It's a good way to taste and have a souvenir. There are food options and seating near music entertainment. Toilets are a choice of portaloos or for a euro a more facilitated option. It's a great way to spend an afternoon or evening.
