Amazing food and super huge portions. The meat was so juicy and well seasoned, fresh and crunchy veggies, super light sauce all in a fluffy pita. Absolutely delicious! It is part of a strip mall so there is quite a bit of parking. A few tables inside but it was not busy at the time we went. Both my husband and I were not able to finish our meals. Staff was super friendly and chatty. They wanted to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Very nice employees. Would totally recommend this place

The crinkle-cut fries on the side were crispy and tasty too. The place is clean, cozy, and has a nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and quick service. Definitely coming back for more!

The flavors were absolutely incredible! Every bite was packed with juicy, well-seasoned meat and super fresh veggies, all wrapped in the softest pita. I've been looking for a place/food like this for a while and finally found it. I travel to Europe quite frequently and this is just like they serve up Kebaps/Kebabs there. They also have the French hot dogs which is straight from Europe-I might have it next time. My wife and I both had the Kebap-Rollo meal with fries, everything, mixed meat with garlic sauce and I added the spicy sauce. 5* food just over $30 for both meals and I'm stuffed. My wife took half of the Kebap home with her. Give this place a try. We were there for about 30 minutes and people kept coming in. Clean, several tables inside, friendly staff and everything is made to order. We will definitely go there again.

My day off is Monday and bummer they are closed . Coming back from airport I stopped there on my way home and I. ordered kebab mix meat plate with herb sauce and kebab beef sandwich with garlic sauce. Food was amazing and it’s packed !!! The only complaint I have are fries, more often change of oil is my suggestion. I also saw they have hot dog from Poland !!! Next time

Still going strong. If you want the food to look like it does in their pictures then this is the place for you. I challenge you to say you are still hungry after eating one of their sandwiches. Very friendly and great food.

As others have commented, the volume of meat stuffed into the kebap was a lot more than I expected. I ordered the half chicken and half beef with garlic and spicy sauce. The kebap was drenched in sauce. Way too much in my opinion. Also, the entire kebap was sweet, too sweet for me. Fries were good though.

Berlin-style chicken kebab sandwich was what I had. Fresh ingredients are used. The combination of the spicy and garlic sauce is delicious. There was wonderful texture to the pita bread.

This place was amazing, went with my family it was a clean and I was shocked how good it taste, the meat , sauces and veggies perfect trio I would rate this place a 10 !!!! The service was phenomenal I would definitely recommend this place!

Unique food. I had the french hotdogs, each with different mayo based sauces. I love the concept of a baguette filled with sauce then a hotdog stuffed inside. I wish the hotdog was better quality since it didn't have much flavor. I also tried the sandwich filled with meat, both chicken and beef. The concept is like a gyro but tastes nothing like one. The veggies were super fresh and crispy. The people behind the counter were friendly and the place was clean. It's small inside so if it's busy you might not find a table. The menu is limited to 3 items but the options for what to put inside the sandwiches are endless. The only reason I gave 4 stars was for the bland hotdogs.

I mean no offense, but I was expecting less I was wrong! I've had a couple of plates at this point. They include a salad , meat (chicken and/or beef ) and fries . All in generous portions. They also have three different flavors of garlic sauces (plain garlic, herb, and spicy). They are all delicious. To be honest, as I write this review, my mouth is watering I would get it for today's lunch, but they are closed on Monday Berliner Kebap is definitely worth a try

Wow! So delicious. We tried the sandwich and a Parisian hotdog. Both were delicious, portion was great and love how generous they are with the sauces.

Went for the 1st time and ordered the mixed kebab sandwhich ... Now the size is huge !! 2 people can eat with one sandwhich ... The taste was average at best ... not bad but not good either ... if you are in a hurry this might work since it takes 2/3 minutes to get your order. Beware ... they have the credit card machine set up for the 18%, 20%, 22% tip ... Fries was soggy and not worth it ... 5 out 10 ... not sure if I would return again ‍‍

Nice family owned kebab quick service restaurant in a strip mall in Streamwood. They serve Berlin (German) style doner kebabs, thin sliced beef or chicken cooked on a spit like gyro or shwarma. You can get them as a sandwich, wrap or platter. We got the platter which comes with your choice of chicken or beef (or both), salad, fries, sauce and a drink. The sauces are very creamy and come in 3 flavors: spicy, herb or garlic. Food was hot and fresh, large portion and the meat, fries, salad and all the sauces were delicious. I'm sure the sandwich or wrap would be great, we'll try that next time. The dining area and bathrooms were well kept and very clean. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

I just don't like the food, sorry. I went the first time and ordered one of everything and no one in my house liked it... it smells so good! It looks so good! But it just doesn't taste good for me. Tried a second time and I really disliked it even more that the first time. I think it was the texture of the glue like tortilla, I don't know but I had chicken and spicy sauce and it just was t good for the money.

Wow. Clean place. Very unassuming from the outside. You place your order at the counter and pick up at the side counter. Very efficient. The menu is limited, but those are the ones you will find are the best. I had the mixed platter. You definitely get your money worth. The food was hot and delicious. The salad cold and crisp. I really enjoyed the fries. Great place for lunch

Just like in Germany and truly out of this world. Monster size and big enough for two people. Quality ingredients, flavor explosion and the sauces are fantastic. The customer service is great, very friendly and we had a great conversation on kebabs. They love their restaurant and very proud of it. It was worth the one hour drive for a hard to find Doner Kebab. The best in the Chicago land area. I'll be back!

Omg We ordered a chicken kabob sandwich and a beef kabob sandwich food was delicious and portions are incredible. Definitely recommend giving them a shot. Sorry no pictures will update review and post pictures in future Thank you for reading my review

Tried this place - wasn't impressed sadly. I tried the French hot dog - the website's hot dog seems great but the reality as pictured above not impressive. The hot dog was very thin, and the bread was kind of sad. Got the plate for the hubby - mix of chicken/meat, meat was ok. Fries were kind of soggy. Plate was around $14 or so. Hot dog $4.99. Overall not quite impressed. Probably won't be back.

Spicy chicken kebap sandwich is delicious, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Also highly recommend the hot dog where you get to choose from a variety of sauces to complement the hot dog. If you are in the neighborhood I highly recommend you stop by and try.

Been here several times and the food has grown on me. Sure, it's a bit on the pricier side (~14$ beef roll) against its competition (beef shawarma rolls / gyros pita), but it's executed very well. I am full full after a whole roll unlike other places, so there's that. Meat was quality and tasty. I enjoyed the spicy and garlic sauce. Herb sauce was meh for me. The sandwich style bread was amazing on the first bite, but probably a little too much/sweet overall for the whole thing. The roll is just right for me in the "combination" of it all. The good meat/sauce surrounded by fresh veggie crunch (cabbage). I don't have an alternative for this specific "package" so it looks like I'll be continually returning when the craving hits.

We came here excited thinking it was a %100 halal meat. They have a big sign on their window says they use only halal meat. We ordered hotdog and lady at the register said the hotdogs were pork. She said chicken and beef were halal. So we ordered beef and chicken. Food was not fresh our meat was cold. Fries were also not good. I gave 2 stars for people who work there. They were nice and friendly.

Wanted to try a new place for dinner and this did not disappoint!!! Walked in and the place was super clean and cute! Immediately greeted (love this!!) and was asked if I needed any help.. yes please first timer here. I was given all the details of the menu, ingredients, how it's made, etc. the food was AMAZING!!! The homemade sauces were all unique, tasty and fresh! Loved them all! Don't pass this place up ! Everyone was super nice and helpful!

This is a quite nice and clean place. I had the chicken Kebap- Rollo. However it didn't quite taste Turkish. Maybe they modified it according to Polish taste since it has Polish owners.

Food was amazingly good! The reviews read prior to going did not disappoint. I ordered one of everything minus the hotdog. Great friendly service and shop was very clean. Will go again soon!

This fast food newcomer is in a small strip center on Barrington road. If you are not familiar, doner kabab was said to originate in Turkey meaning "spinning meat" and are somewhat similar to gyros. They are a popular late-night snack after drinking especially in Germany and Poland. The owners here are from Poland and greeted us with a cheerful "Dzein Dobry". We tried both chicken and beef offered by ordering the kabap plate which also comes with french fries and a fresh crisp salad. The chicken kind of crumbled into small pieces so I ate it on the salad. The beef stayed in nice slices and was especially tasty with the garlicky sauce. We ordered all three of the sauces on the side, garlic, herb and Arabian. I enjoyed the first two sauces the best while the last one is too spicy for me it did taste good. My husband had to try the hot dog which is made of pork and wrapped in a French roll again with a choice of five sauces plus mustard or ketchup. They didn't say but those are inside the bread not on the side. Nice change of pace after Thanksgiving food. We will be back

What a great addition to Barrington road! It's great to see some new truly international choices! So limited menu but I think that's the beauty of this place...few things...done right! Everything from the simple salad to the beef and chicken are fresh and oh so flavorful. Don't judge but we've been backlike 4 times and it is turning out to be our Friday night movie night choice. Netflix and kebap!And sauce it up! Each sauce is distinct and adds to the already tastebud tickling flavors. Very nice staff...nice clean spot.

Wow! What can I say - amazing food! We visited for the first time last night and were seriously impressed. The food was truly delicious- fresh ingredients, portion sizes were generous. Friendly staff. We will be back - I highly recommend!!

Wanted to try something different so we heard about this place on the Polish Your Kitchen You Tube channel. Known for their Kebap plates and French Hot Dog. We ordered the platter which came with fries and salad. We upgraded to the meat combo which was chicken and beef for 2.00 more. I wish we stuck with just the beef as the chicken was small pieces as if they scraped the bottom of the pan. Beef is very tasty. You choose 3 sauces . We tried the garlic ,herbs and Arabian. Garlic and herb were very good. Arabian too Spicey. I also tried the French Dog which is a pork hot dog inside a French roll. I had a choice of 2 sauces but did not know the sauce was put inside of the roll. I would have preferred to have the sauce on the side as you never know if the sauce might be too spicy or a flavor you didn't care for. They offer 6 sauces for the hot dog. Prices are reasonable. Indoor seating is available. Located in a strip center on Barrington Rd. Plenty of parking. Polish owned and the owners were very nice. Will go again.

After discovering Berliner Kebap randomly on Instagram I had to give it a go, and I have to say it did not disappoint. I gave the mixed plate a go and it stood up to the ones I had after my nights at Tresor. My only disappointment is that it is Monday and I have to wait till tomorrow to go back. Friendly staff, clean location, solid portion size all adds to my rating.

I've been waiting a while to make it out to try this place. This place is an awesome treat of meat. I had the kebap sandwich which is the polish twist of a kebab you get anywhere else. The mixed meat and mixed sauce is the way to go the first time to get a meaty treat. The flavor takes me back to my last trip to Poland. Ingredients are fresh and wow the bread they use was strong enough to carry the massive amount of food.

We went to Wing Stop and this place was 2 doors down. The pictures of the food in the window were so enticing that even though I wasn't particularly hungry, I ran in to grab a menu. When I showed my wife, we had to get a sample. We ordered the kebap sandwich, with chicken and beef, and the garlic sauce. It comes on this kind of seeded bread pocket that resembles a pita and included tomato, cucumber, red onion, some kind of pickled slaw. We also ordered a plain french hot dog. The baguette around the hot dog was fantastic and the hot dog was good. Not an Oscar Mayer for sure and it was tasty. But that sandwich shot up to one of my all time favorites with the first bite. The fresh veggies, the touch of spice, the tender meat, the crunch of the almost panini bread. Su-freakin-perb! And it is so big it would feed 2 with normal appetites. I can't wait to go back and try other options. Luckily it is just a few minutes drive for lunch this week!

Closest to a German döner kebab I've even had in the states! Delicious and the portions sizes were huge! This is a game changer for me; I've been waiting for this day for years. The fries are awesome, too!

Called to make a table reservation because my daughter is fasting and I wanted to make sure she ate on time! The guy was super nice on the phone and very good service when we got here! The food was absolutely delicious, you have to try this place from it being clean, delicious food, and outstanding service! Also we forgot to get a water for my daughter so she can open her fast and they didn't charge her for a bottle of water!

We had two sandwiches, rollo and kebab in a bun. Both sandwiches were very tasty, fresh and crisp vegetables. Very good sauces. Perhaps the only suggestion would be to put little bit more meat and less sauce. Very clean and professional place. They even have their name on food tray liners and french fry holders which we liked since it is an extra expense for small business. Overall very satisfied with our sandwiches and we will definitely be back.

Excellent sandwiches the bread is toasted to perfection, meat is very tasty and vegetables are fresh. Restaurant is super clean. Highly recommend serving size is huge too.

Berliner Kebap has to be one of the finest "sandwich" shops around. The French hot dog came wrapped in a loaf of what I'd call a mix of French and baguette style bun. The best bun I've yet to eat. I chose the spicy paprika siracha and it's a very hot sauce. My only recommendation here is to ask for a light amount as it dominated the hot dog. Next up, we have the Doner kebab sandwich. The Turkish style bread was baked to perfection. Both the chicken and beef was moist, with the perfect amount of garlic sauce. And those vegetables? Fresh, crisp-perfect! The ratios were just right. Although I feel that portion size is irrelevant to food quality and should never be used as a factor in food reviews, the sandwich is enormous. Berliner does offer various platers and such so there are a few other options as well. The staff are amazing and it's well worth the drive. Enjoy!!!

Closest thing to german donër kebap in the United States. If you're familiar with this popular street food in Germany and other parts of Europe, this place does not disappoint.

Leaving a bad review like this isn't common for me but I would have to say that I have to make an exemption for this place. The food was very unsalted and they charge 15 dollars plus tax for a soda can a hand full of a fried and plus the sandwich was very unseasoned and mine specifically was overflowing in sauce I even said no sauce I started to ask them how I said no sauce and they told me it has to come with sauce. That is the dumbest thing I've heard. The ambience is like a subway train station in New York City it's smells like a garbage can in there and no sanitation what do ever the table I sat at wasn't even cleaned. There so many more better kebab places out there definitely wouldn't recommend this one they took the whole Doner concept and ruined it for everyone to experience.

I was skeptical when I went to Berliner Kebab - it is hard to believe that real Kebab's exist in the States, to say nothing about the Berliner variety...usually all we get are nasty, dry, greasy, nasty gyros here...but, I decided to take a chance. These are LEGIT! Exactly IMO, what you would find in Berlin itself - right down to the bread - I was not expecting that! I didn't go here for the fries, but have to say, they were probably the best fries I have ever had in my life. Likewise, the place is spotless - you could tell someone had deep cleaned the place either that day or very recently. As others have said, it is a bit expensive (with tax - Berliner Doner Sandwich with Fries was just over $18.00 USD) but worth every cent....where else are you going to find this in the States....certainly not in Illinois. The place is very popular - I went there on a Sunday Afternoon at 2 PM and it was packed - a LOT of Europeans, which was a good sign considering the specialty nature of it.

Finally ! I was carving for Döner for a while. And I can't believe we got one so close to us now. I ate yesterday the first time a Döner Kebap sandwich there and I was in heaven. I m from Germany and I tell you, that is it. I will be coming back, very soon and very often.

This was a great find. Unique and delicious version of Doner Kebabs. The Portions are generous and the food is fresh. The staff was very friendly. We will be back.

Delicious ! Almost identical as in Europe... i think using European condiments would make it even better.
