Bermagui Beach Hotel

Absolutely FANTASTIC staff. The reason we always go back. Every single one of them are AMAZING. This Pub is incredible they donated 2 X $250 vouchers for The Song For Bob, at Murrah Hall, for suicide prevention. I was VERY Blessed to win this GENEROUS prize. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. We have dinner here every January a couple of times whilst we are visiting and lunch a couple of times with heaps of friends and family. Very relaxing and easy place for a lazy Sunday lunch on a sunny arvo. Oysters, grilled fish, focaccia; just simple stuff done well. The view over the ocean was simply unbeatable. I was last here 50 years ago, and the difference is astonishing. The old grotty pub has transformed amazingly. Love it.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. We had room 1 that has seperate sitting area and nice little balcony so you can enjoy your coffee outside with beautiful view over the bay.|We also had dinner at the pub of the hotel. The food is regular pub food but of good quality. I had the fish and chips and that was not soggy as some of the other reviews mentioned. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely book this again should I ever be back in the area

Very Overpriced. Very Noisy. Terrible parking. Not even a proper window. Great decor 5 star for decor on looks only. But no outlook!! Hot water took ages and ages to come through the shower. Water missed the drain and ran over bathroom floor. Nice touch with croissants & muesli for breakfast considering the price, this softened it slightly. Wouldn’t recommend Bermagui to couples unless you’re fishing or diving fanatics.

Had a great visit and stay at the Beach Hotel. Staff were friendly and service good. Photo posts were from our Queen Room balcony. We could walk to most places we wanted to see. Meals of good quality but a bit on the expensive side.

We booked the hotel for three days and found our stay here extremely comfortable. I’d especially like to mention the bar and restaurant downstairs—they are definitely the highlight of the experience in this place. It’s a quiet little town, and if we have the chance, we would love to come back again.

Phenomenal stay in a room overlooking the water- beautiful comfortable bed, breakfast of croissants and tea/coffee. The real standout was the food in the bistro- the best ‘pub’ meal we’ve ever had. Such a well thought out menu and excellently executed- just such delicious flavourful food. Lovely service too!

The location of the hotel is fantastic, the view across the water, the atmosphere and the staff were all great. This is where the positives end unfortunately, I ordered the fish and chips. I have never had such a bad piece of fish in my life. The fish itself approximately 5mm in thickness and completely oil soaked. The batter gooey and just terrible. 32 dollars for easily the worst fish I have ever eaten in my life, I am very disappointed.

We arrived after 1:30 pm on a Sunday afternoon and we were so relieved to find that this place was still serving lunch. We had a delicious lunch of belly pork and locally caught marlin. We sat on the veranda in the sunshine and the views were just gorgeous.

Great place to stop for lunch and a beer, I had Haloumi with Pumpkin Tapioca - delicious - and Paella - so fresh - prawns, muscles , yum yum yum. add some Summer Ale and I was in heaven. Beautiful vista over the inlet.
