Love this place ! The view over the sea is to die for (even in Aussie Winter). The welcome is warm & the rooms are modern, very comfortable beds, well spec en suite that was modern & clean. There is a lovely veranda which has heaters if required where you can enjoy a drink / meal overlooking the sea. There is a good choice of beer / lager (no british ale!) Tables are on a first come first served basis. There is a bar inside or a restaurant which you can book next door. All offer the same food. The food quality is very good (its not fine dinning but the range & quality is good) , service is attentive & a decent choice of wine. We had to leave to get to another destination so didnt get chance to walk the beach area but guests we chatted to said it was beautiful. I'd defo come back here

Great hotel in a fantastic location. We had a bit of a storm coming in (bomb cyclone…) when we arrived at Bermagui, so it was raining uninterruptedly, but it was immediately apparent how gorgeous this place is. Beautiful coast line, natural salt water pools, amazing beaches, streets lined with palm trees. And the hotel was one pleasant surprise after another. Lovely people, lovely room, with absolutely everything you need, Nespresso machine, little sink and microwave, nice size fridge, complimentary fresh croissants, and we were able to get a great dinner at the bistro downstairs. The room itself was really well designed, as well as the balcony and bathroom, lots of wooden and natural stone features. We felt right at home straight away. Could have easily stayed here longer, but we were on a road trip to Melbourne, so it was just the one night.

The room we had was quiet but a little dark as it was on the ground floor. Breakfast was fine. Bit hard to park sometimes in the carpark as day patrons of the pub sometimes use the same carpark when street parking is full. The menu at the pub was good BUT finding a restaurant that is open in Bermagui at night is impossible at the moment - seems finding table staff is not an option. If you don't like pub food then you will struggle. The sites around Bermagui are wonderful including Horse Head Rock, and Wallaga Lake walk. The beach is nice and we saw people fishing into the ocean. Tilba is beautiful but wear bug spray all over as the bite from either a flea or sandfly is still with me a month after walking at Tilba. Further south, the Pinnacles are over-rated but okay for a stop. The Merimbula Lake boardwalk is beautiful and a must-do inclusion in your visit to the area. Loved the Bodalla Dairy and the Milton Bakery was excellent. Found the seals at Narooma too.

We stayed in Bermagui for 5 days and found it to be disappointing for a choice of places to eat this time of year. I know its off season but the only real option is the pub!. The wharf was a major disappointment with cafe's and bars sporadically open, but the one mainstay is the pub! We went there daily for lunch, and the staff are fabulous, with the exception of one male bartender ( a blonde guy with curly hair ) who was possibly the rudest person I have ever met. Not sure how he has a job seeing all the other staff were beyond amazing. The food menu was amazing, with specials that were interesting and different from normal pub food. The views over the water are amazing too! I highly recommend anyone coming to Bermagui to come here for a great meal!

I've eaten here once before for lunch, and absolutely loved it! So then I had a gathering for 20 people and again, the quality was fabulous! The staff were so helpful, attentive and really lovely. But seriously, all praise to the kitchen. This isn't your average pub grub, that's for sure!!! 5 stars!!!

Comfortable well appointed, modern room with great views over the beach. Staff were excellent, so helpful, nothing was to much trouble, even assisted me with our suitcases down the stairs. Only area that might need some improvement was the menu, still it is a pub, so they go with quick and simple. Still a nice place to stay with wonderful staff.

Our stay at the Bermagui Beach hotel was excellent. Katya was so helpful every step of the way. From booking to advice to leaving for home. The hotel was so nicely maintained and stylishly presented. It was quite a pleasant surprise. All the little touches were present including coffee machine and some milk. We appreciated the kitchette and bbq which we used most of our 6 nights. Next time we will leave some more time for relaxing.

A very simple nordic renovation of the front room we had made this pub / hotel a pleasure to stay at. Nice to see someone do a reno inexpensively but with style and quality spent in all the right areas. Would Recommend the front balcony room as a must book ! Staff at reception were old Fashioned HOSPO types - knowledgeable and down to earth friendly ! A cold beer overlooking the hills to a glorious sunset was the perfect end to a days travel - Well done

Yelp
We arrived after 1:30 pm on a Sunday afternoon and we were so relieved to find that this place was still serving lunch. We had a delicious lunch of belly pork and locally caught marlin. We sat on the veranda in the sunshine and the views were just gorgeous.

Yelp
Great place to stop for lunch and a beer, I had Haloumi with Pumpkin Tapioca - delicious - and Paella - so fresh - prawns, muscles , yum yum yum. add some Summer Ale and I was in heaven. Beautiful vista over the inlet.
