Very nice room comes with kitchen, washer n dryer. They are thoughtful enough to install a towel warmer. We love the warm towel during our winter stay. Their gym is nicely equipped with good weights and treadmill. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Especially the manager Yomade, he leads by example to greet every guest with a smile and positive attitude. Location is extremely convenient. Walking distance to Tower bridge, Borough mkt, tower bridge night market. Short ride to many other attractions. We will definitely come back in the future and would recommend to anyone is looking for a convenient affordable nice hotel. Last, in case if you pass by the front desk around 6pm, you might be in a treat to get complimentary pastry that they cant sell that day. Thanks, Bermonds Locke team.

I would not classify this as a hotel - more of an Air b&b - there is no room service - barely any trash bins other than a tiny one in the washroom - no water bottles available (this is ridiculous - no water?) Sauna wad very kind in helping me accommodate a taxi to my airport so thank you to him for helping me but other than him, I would not recommend staying at this property. I was never notified about continental breakfast so the three mornings I'd purchase at the lobby cafe - there were two hosts at the check in station yet no one brought it up....poor experience overall

Not the easiest place to get to although you can get the 188 bus from Waterloo to the bus stop right outside the hotel. We had a twin room and maybe this was the problem. I have never stayed in a hotel where you can't watch the tv from your bed. There was a huge tv but it was attached to a massive pillar in the middle of the room and faced the small table and 2 very uncomfortable wire chairs. Surely there should be a small comfy sofa instead. Bizarre configuration in this room. Bedside tables only big enough for a phone which was annoying. No teaspoons, no de-caf, well-used scourer, the charger point was broken and the fridge hadn't been cleaned and smelt. Paintwork needed touching up in several areas - a bit grim. Also, bearing in mind the windows practically wrapped around the entire room, why is there no modesty vinyl in place as you can't open the curtains unless you are fully dressed as surrounded by flats/offices. Sadly no discount at cafe if you're a resident. Overall disappointing and won't re-book.

The interiors of this hotel are undeniably stylish, and the staff are some of the friendliest I’ve encountered. However, the experience simply does not live up to the standard I’ve come to expect from other Locke properties. It feels like such a waste of the beautiful design. For long stays, housekeeping is provided only once every 7 days, and guests must pay an additional fee for more frequent cleaning. This policy left our room feeling uncomfortably filthy, with a visibly dirty carpet that unfortunately caused a rash on my two-year-old, which has been lasting even after checkout for over a week. For a design-led brand, this level of upkeep is shocking. Several practical shortcomings are frustrating. - The trash bins in the kitchenette rooms are surprisingly small, and guests are required to leave bags in the hallway between 9 am and 5 pm, which feels far from premium. - The removal of in-room landline phones may be a bold act, but staff didn’t always respond to WhatsApp communication promptly, leaving us feeling rather unsupported at times. - On top of that, there were no coffee makers in the room - At first, we didn't know there were a wash-up and laundry powder tabs in the room because they were kept under the sink with a tired dishwash sponge, next to the trash bin. It doesn't spell hygiene to me. To conclude, the staff, the coffee, and the location all deserve praise. However, once you look past the surface, the experience falls short of delivering. I would not recommend this property, because its greatness truly ends with what meets the eye.

We enjoyed our stay, the room we had was a good size and had great spaces and everything we needed. We did have an issue with the dryer which may have been user error, would be good if they had instructions in the room of how to use the washer/dryer, but very handy to have these to use. The staff on reception were very good and helpful. The location was great too, close to good eateries and good transportation.

I stayed for three nights in one of the suites. The hotel has a genuinely appealing design language and the location near Tower Bridge is excellent, with markets and restaurants close by. Check-in was polite but slow, and my reservation couldn’t be found at first. Staff also provided very minimal information. I wasn’t told which Wi-Fi network to use or the password, and I had to figure it out myself through the TV menu. The suite looks stylish, but several maintenance and cleanliness issues made the stay feel below the expected standard for a room priced around $400 per night. The outdoor bathtub on the terrace is fully visible to neighbors and the courtyard, and even to the lobby area through a large glass façade. It feels more like a design statement than a usable feature. The bathroom was the biggest disappointment, especially because the issues could be resolved with better cleaning. The grout around the toilet and shower is noticeably darkened, the shower corners need descaling, and the ceiling paint is peeling. These are small upkeep tasks, but they significantly affect the impression of cleanliness. Only one pair of towels was provided, with no extras. Throughout the suite and the hallway, the concrete floors have visible cracks, and the carpet in the room was very disappointing, with multiple stains including one very dark one. It really needs a deep clean or replacement. The table also had two burn marks, likely from a hot pan or pot. The kitchen is equipped, but only very basically. There was coffee and tea, but the amount was not adequate for a multi-day stay and was not refilled. For this price, I would have expected at least a bottle of water, laundry pods for the washer-dryer, slippers, and small essentials like hand cream or toothpaste. Bermonds Locke has strong potential thanks to its design and location, but cleanliness, maintenance, and amenities need more attention. With better care for these details, the experience could match the hotel’s visual appeal and price point. Additional note: I also want to thank the team for their thoughtful response after I shared my feedback. TJ, the Assistant General Manager, reached out personally with solutions for what could be addressed during my stay, and offered a complimentary breakfast along with a small, very kind gesture. Their professionalism and genuine care were truly appreciated and left a very positive impression.

We had a horrible stay experience. On our day of arrival, the window in our room could not be closed. We spent the first night in coldness and noise. In addition, the bed light did not work. We talked and wrote to hotel administrator and never got it fixed even responded during our 9-day stay. Due to these problems, the hotel said we can have a late check-out on the final day. But our room key got deactivated even before 11 am on that day. In our view, the hotel staffs were arrogant and ignorant. The rating on this hotel is truly overrated. Price and experience does not match. Will not stay again.

The property is in a nice area, but that is the only positive. There is no parking and nowhere to safely be dropped off or picked up. The room was significantly smaller than advertised and it was filthy. The bedding and towels were visibly dirty. I wiped down the surfaces with Clorox wipes and they turned black from dust and grime. the amount of dust collected by the bed was unacceptable. The washing machine was disgusting, to the point of being unusable. On top of that, all the toiletries, shampoo, body wash, hand wash, and even dish soap, were completely empty. I am genuinely disgusted. I would not recommend this place and I will not be returning.
