Bermonds Locke, Tower Bridge

I have been coming here now and again for a little over a year and theirs a reason. Location amazing down the road from tower bridge/London Bridge. The rooms, for a studio in this location are very good and what you get more than justifies the price. What’s more impressive are the staff here. Most of them have been here long term which is a credit to the company as it keeps consistency in service. In particular Sohna is an exceptional member of staff. The first time I stayed here she was there and nothings changed, great attitude and super polite and very helpful like all the staff I have seen there. If you have dogs in particular I would highly recommend this place since my dogs are crazy and theirs no carpet and nothing they can damage. I have stayed in all the hotels/services apartments in this area and this is by far the best. Well done Locke!

We stayed here for a week during Christmas 2024. We really love it. The location is great and within walking distance to borough market, tower bridge and a tube station to name a few things. There's also the Bermondsy Beer Mile around the corner. We booked a studio and it was perfect. We cooked several meals over the holidays and felt very at home. There is also a cafe in the lobby. We didn't get a chance to check it out but it seemed very popular. The studio was very spacious and well-appointed. It was very clean and everything was in working order. The staff were so nice and friendly. I would love to stay here or at other Locke properties in the future. I don't think there was a single thing to complain about.

This property is in a great location for many bus routes and walks to facilities. Despite being on Tower Bridge Road the rooms are very quiet from both the road and internally probably the quietest room I have stayed in. A little bit tight for suitcase space for 2 but we made it work for 5 nights. Great to have own washing machine and fridge to make own breakfast. Very clean shower good linen good. Only negative was the bed uncomfortable for my back but that’s an individual concern.||We would stay there again . BERMONDSEY street area is busy but feel part of a neighbourhood with dogs and pocket parks everywhere

A home away from home is how I'd describe this place. It's very close to the bus stop, and the tube is close by as well. Because it's on Tower Bridge Road, you will find yourself within walking distance of many tourist attractions. The staff is friendly and informative. I felt safe, and the room was spacious, quiet, and clean. There is a café attached that sells the most wonderful teas, coffees, and sandwiches. All in all, it was an amazing place to rest after exploring London each day. 10 out of 10 stars.

The perfect accommodation for us. We were only in London for 1 night but wish it was longer, the location was perfect and the room itself was so nicely decorated and spacious. Will definitely be booking again for our next London trip

The bathroom flooded when we showered because water leaked out from under the glass shower panels. It was an accessible shower but no way this should happen. We had problems with the electrical outlets. No one came to help. The room was OK Good bed. Nice to have the full kitchen. Good location.

No working A/C so had to attempt to sleep in a room (room 622) of 30° on the first night of my stay, before being changed room to a smaller one. It's now apparent from other reviews that A/C not working is a known issue that various other travellers have had, and the hotel are simply trying their luck by offering these uninhabitable rooms out. Be prepared for the worst sleep of your life. Definitely not a four star hotel, I'd expect a lot more class from the Premier Inn next door.

At 4pm check-in I found there was no air con in the room ... temperatures outside were @ 30 degrees. It was like an oven in there. With "no alternative rooms available", no attempt had been made to divert the booking to somewhere else in advance. Another lady was facing the exact same situation. The so-called "solution" we were offered was a full refund ... so that I could then tramp the streets looking to find an alternative accommodation for the night ... great ! I was due to meet guests and go to the theatre within 2 hours. Another "solution" was to transfer to another hotel in Canary Wharf. That too would have ruined the evening. Appalling treatment. Clearly the lack of a/c had been known about in advance as there was already a wholly inadequate fan placed in the room ; zero natural ventilation. The fron desk person remained polite but powerless really to resolve. The managers and maintenance teams behind him were non existent ... they must be held to account here.
