How to Plan the Perfect Trip to Bermuda

"I enjoyed the Royal Naval Dockyard Craft Market on Bermuda's West End, housed inside a former warehouse and barrel workshop constructed in 1831, where local artisans sell crafts, jewelry, and souvenirs like cigars, rum cake, prints and paintings, and rum swizzle mix." - Skye Sherman Skye Sherman Skye Sherman is a travel writer based in West Palm Beach, Florida. "More than 60 artisans demonstrate how they create their crafts—and sell them, too—at this mazelike marketplace in the Old Cooperage of the historic dockyard. There are candles, stationery items and soaps. Some stalls offer antiques and nautical maps; others, old stamps and transportation tokens. Christmas keepsakes are perennially popular picks."

The 12 Best Places for Shopping in Bermuda | Condé Nast Traveler

"If you’re searching for an authentic piece of Bermudiana to take home, look no further than the Bermuda Craft Market in the Royal Naval Dockyard. Housed inside an old stone cooperage where barrels were once stored for the British Navy, the bustling arts and crafts emporium is where you can peruse a massive collection of handmade goods, including jewelry, soaps, candles, Christmas ornaments, and ceramics. Most are sold by the artisans themselves, so it's also an opportunity to chat up a local. Into cigars? Pop by the table manned by Grant Kennedy, Bermuda’s only master cigar roller, who handrolls stogies with Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos." - David LaHuta

Overpriced junk. Bought a bag of Bermuda coffee there for $38. Realized when I got home the coffee is made in NJ. What a scam! You can buy this coffee direct from the supplier for $24.79. If I wasn't already home, I would have returned it! Two thumbs down for false advertising. These people should be buying from local suppliers OR Caribbean suppliers. SMH.

While in Bermuda, travel to the Craft Market in Dockyard to shop for locally made treats and gems. Books by Bermudians, treasures for the home, items to spice up the kitchen, and gifts to make holidays even more special. All made with the flair of Bermudian artists who are often on hand for demonstrations. The Craft Market is easily accessible by bus or ferry. Plan to linger and take home a memory.

This is the place to go for hand-made souvenirs and gifts in Bermuda! We found so many things for reasonable prices! They even have studios there that you can peek into. :-)

This store has a great selection of products from local artisans. Prices are reasonable for Bermuda and proximity to the cruise ships.

Rather underwhelming. I had the impression it will be collection of locals booths with local artists and sellers. Instead it was a large shop with a single seller.

Not a happy customer. Purchased a sterling silver charm bracelet made byJennifer Rodrigues Designs back in June while on vacation. The bracelet tarnished in parts of it (turned black) I tried cleaning it also with using a cleaning cloth from Pandora, no good results. I contacted Jennifer via email. At first she was not happy what I was telling her. After a few back and forth emails she stated she had one on her desk to send out to me Never received it once again she said she sent it out had to check with the postal service. I requested for her to send me a tracking number no response Jennifer also requested me to send her my credit card number so she can refund me $75 the cost of the bracelet. I did not trust that so I emailed Jennifer my cash app and Venmo acct info. Since then I have heard from her. It’s been 2 weeks now

We walked to the back of this Garden area and discovered this beer restaurant and souvenir shop. we decided to go in and discovered they had different types of souvenirs and foods available for purchase. This was a pretty decent Discovery and we snagged a few items for our family members back home.

Excellent shop to find a locally made souvenir. Diverse offerings from fudge and pepper jam to books on Bermuda and jewelry. There is something for everyone. A few artisans are on hand to describe their work. Prices are high, but more reasonable than the other commercial souvenir shops.
