Great Italian food served by passionate staff. The menu is always changing with the best of in season produce. Love the share plate dining which is great for groups. Certainly returning soon.

I love this restaurant. It's ambient, has a funky layout and the food is exceptional I would suggest booking as it can be tough to get in. We tried some of the fresh pasta, some immaculate fish paired with wine and couldn't be happier. Try the specials as they tend to do justice with seasonal produce and meats.

Nice, cosy restaurant with modern decor and good selection of wine. Food is tasty and portions are generous. Staff are very nice and helpful.

It's one of my favourite Italian restaurant in Sydney for sure. Reasonable price for a 10 or 11 course dinner. Menu is pretty diversified and unique. Food is amazing and the portion of one dish is not small. Staff are friendly. The restaurant is quite small and packed though.

Consistently yummy. Everything is simple and clean but packed full of flavour. I can't offer too many specific suggestions because the menu changes often but the chicken liver pate is wicked. The pastas are always outstanding and definitely order one of the salads they offer. Wine is very tasty at Berta too. This place can be a little tricky to find but it is well worth the hunt.

What a hidden gem! Went here on a group lunch and they took the hassle out of ordering by simply proposing a menu, taking our dietary requirements into consideration. The food was delivered promptly and the service was spot on. All the dishes were fresh and simply delicious, the highlights would probably have been the pastas. Great value as well!

Great food and nice services. Although the wine list and many items on the restaurant's chalk boards were quite overwhelming for someone who wasn't used to Italian drinks and dessert, but luckily we've got help from the manager in choosing stuffs. Very friendly services and the food tasted great!

I decided to take my partner to a nice Italian restaurant for her birthday. I had never heard of Berta before and noticed that the reviews were great so I decided to give it a go. Upon walking in, I felt a great vibe - semi rustic, yet with a hint of modern, I felt that the ambience was perfect for the occasion. Greeted by professional but down to earth staff was the beginning and as the courses came out the night only got better. The burrata, tiger prawns and crab spaghetti were stand outs and I would highly recommend. Great for small groups or intimate dinners - you won't be disappointed.
