Berthelot Hotel

We were very pleased with the hotel. Especially Carmin is a very successful and humorous receptionist. I would like to thank her very much for her smiling face and communication.

I was somewhat nervous ahead of our stay, having read some of the reviews, on arrival myself and three friends were met by friendly and jovial reception staff, our rooms were all modern with tv, fridge, coffee machine & complimentary water, the bathroom was clean and well equipped and the bed very comfortable. We only ate breakfasts in the hotel, but it was more than adequate to fuel us for our days sightseeing adventures. |For me and my friends, the hotel was perfect for our needs, and I can highly recommend it to other travellers.

I didn’t enjoy my stay here. Too expensive for this. The room had a strong smell of cigarettes, which was very unpleasant. The coffee machine had only one capsule, which felt inadequate. On the positive side, the location is great, and the view was decent. Cleanliness was okay as well. Since I had an early flight, I picked up my breakfast from reception the evening before. However, the breakfast was very basic: some vegetables, two rolls, a few slices of cheese, an apple, and a yogurt. Overall, it didn’t meet my expectations.

Great place for business trips. The location is great, right next to Victoriei Street. The hotel and the rooms are very clean, with good attention at details. The breakfast is very good, but there can be some little improvements. Rooms are also quite. Great value for money

I paid for a double room. The receptionist confirmed i had paid for a double room & single occupancy but without telling me gave me a cheaper smaller single. Long battle to get even a tiny reduction. The receptionist cancelled my double room on my phone but I was charged the full amount for cancelling the double and charged for the single. I Paid for 2 rooms. Terrible experience and sleepless night as nobody could help until the following day just minutes before i left for flight. Excellent breakfast but whole stay ruined by receptionist

i would like to talk about my experience in the restaurant that was not up to specifications. apparently we have different slices of meet for different days in regards to grilled products.

Booked a room at hotel Berthelot on the basis of room & breakfast, the advertised time was between 7 & 10am. When I arrived I was told breakfast will be from 10, I could not stay until this time as had to leave for the airport, no take out breakfast was offered like some others were offered. I messaged and emailed the hotel about the situation, but the email was ignored.

the hotel was clean, good location,breakfast was good. but one reception named Carmen was really rude,without any smile ,aggressive speaking and lazy, she shouldn't work in this nice hotel.
