The restaurant is definitely overhyped and overpriced. While the steak and oysters were quite good, I wouldn’t recommend the lobster pasta or the salads. The lobster pasta, in particular, was disappointing—way too salty for my liking, and they added tomatoes to the dish, which gave it a soggy, weird texture and taste, especially since the pasta was already soft and not al dente. For the price, I also expected more than just four small pieces of lobster.
That said, the service was impeccable. Our server, Mitch, was fantastic—he knew the menu very well and was great to chat with, which made the dining experience more enjoyable. Still, the food needs to live up to the high prices and reputation.
