Staff weren’t the friendliest, but did successfully transfer my data to a new hard drive. Low score is because they had my computer ready for 4 days but sent the notification to the wrong email and didn’t try to follow up any other way after assuring me at drop-off that I would receive a text and/or phone call when it was ready. I was also asked if I wanted to upgrade to windows 11 and said very clearly “No”, but when I booted up my laptop after pickup, windows 11 had been installed anyway, so I have to manually reset it myself.

I needed to replace my TV who gave up the ghost after 18 years of great service... So I wandered in the store, having done a bit of online research, but quite apprehensive about the new tech. A kind, knowledgeable salesman helped me with my selection, purchase and installation services. So much better than I expected... Courteous, competent service. And a great sale as well.

Got my dash cam installed. Service guys were amazing. Told me I could use a cheaper option since my car already had rearview camera. They couldn’t change the price for some reason so I didn’t have to pay for the installation. Would highly recommend!

Dan advised me to get the membership to save some money instead of just paying for the Windows installation. I followed his advice, but a few days later, when I went to pick up my laptop, they told me they couldn’t install Windows because my hard drive needed to be replaced — which didn’t make sense since it was working fine for me. When I asked for a refund of the membership fee, they said they could process it but would charge me over $200 just for checking whether they could install Windows or not. It was a really disappointing experience, and I feel like I was scammed.

Don’t bring your own dash cam for installation—very disappointing experience. I scheduled an appointment with Best Buy to have a dash cam installed. When I arrived at the store, I was told they couldn’t install any dash cam that wasn’t purchased from Best Buy, even though their appointment website clearly stated that you could bring your own device. My phone number and email were included in the appointment details, but all I received was a confirmation just hours before the appointment. It was a very unpleasant experience, especially since I had to take half a day off work to make it happen. Absolutely disappointing and frustrating.

I usually bought my electronic needs from Best Buy in person, but this time, I decided to order two external hard drives online. Unfortunately, after one day, they shipped only one external hard drive. When I contacted customer service, they responded poorly and tried to deceive me into believing that I had received two devices. As a result, I had to go to the shop to talk about the unshipped hard drive. I strongly advise against purchasing from this store online, as it appears to be a fraudulent operation.

Started online to pick up a phone this morning. Added service and insurance, ended up with a best buy membership plan and no plan or care that I did order for the phone. The online help offered to sell me several different things, with no help on why i was forced into a membership, and still not one question answered when asking why did this happen? The operator seemed like her job was deleting these memberships Best Buy sneaks in just under 200 dollars. After nothing happening and finally they canceled the membership. She didn't try to fix my order or help. So I plan going in to get the phone, case, charger, and buy a plan when I get there, 15 minutes of waiting at the counter to pick up a phone I already paid for. Two different people say they "just got done buy they will send someone over." So two employees walked over to help Two different couples and I asked does anyone work in phones and skinny mouth breather walking away from me and customers he walked over with, after checking his phone, informs me:"yeah nobody does actually work there in phones, they never have enough employees." He says. Then says "are you picking up a phone?" No sir returning it as you have demonstrated why nobody should spend money there.Three phone calls later a refund still hasn't posted. When the last best buy finally closes the world will start to heal. Do you pay people to be rude? Why does your stock look like failing company? You had a dozen people able to fix this and none even tried. Shop Amazon y'all. And i still had to call in to return the phone I never touched. Never received it went to pick it up and never got helped. Never got my refund either.purchased? Walmart sold me phone with out issue. You are ruining your company.

11 January I arrived for a curbside pick up order of a phone charging cord. I waited less than the estimated 10 to 15 minutes before the employee was at my window, thanks! Before leaving I figured I should open it and make sure I ordered the right product. Glad I did because I did order the wrong one, ugh. I went inside and the door attendant directed me to where the cords were and said I should get the correct one and then I could proceed to the service desk. Now that it's a month later I'm doubting my confidence that it was Jamie that assisted me? When I did the exchange she said there was money due and I interrupted saying: yes $2 and.... She said $7. We discussed that I made the purchase with $5 Best Buy Rewards bucks... would those not transfer over or did I forfeit them with the exchange? Jamie called a manager over as they clicked around and made the $5 transfer to the correct purchase! Thank you both for swiftly processing my return, purchase and also get the discount to transfer over, I very much appreciated the wonderful customer service!

I picked up an online order here today and the product that they gave me was clearly used. The box looks destroyed. I am normally not in the habit of carefully inspecting curbside orders but I really should have. They left the name of the previous customer on the box. I have contacted him and he is less than enthused about this experience, too. I would prefer to not have to drive all the way back to that store, but the customer service agents have not been helpful. I would strongly suggest not purchasing anything that you might use to feed your family. It is clear that they do not pay any attention to what they're selling.

Best Buy increases your risk of a SCAM. Shop elsewhere I bought a TV. I declined the maintenance contract. Within hours I got two emails. One had the Best Buy logo, and one had a Norton logo. Each said Thank you for purchasing the maintenance contract. They each said they would now charge me $400, and each offered a phone number to decline. I called right away, and they wanted a secure web link, personal data etc. I said Hell no and hung up. Instantly my machine rebooted. I had malware, had to have the entire hard drive re-imaged, lost all data and a week of work. I spoke with the manager at Best Buy. She said we have no responsibility for scams and we don't care

Just hand me the box. Too hard for this store. Canceled the order and bought from Walmart with better service provided by them. You got beat by Walmart. If best buy in in your 401k dump it. Company needs to end.​

Shane from Samsung at Best Buy is awesome! So, he helped us by answering great questions about phones and non-Samsung phones too. Gave us time to discuss and was so helpful through the purchase process. But wait, while he helped us, we watched him graciously help other Best Buy associates and customers. He would politely say excuse me mentioning that our process is here, I am going to help them. He didn't need to do that! At one point he was talking to 5 different people and working on placing the screen protector on the new phone with precision! Shane has patience and calm that is unprecedented! He is professional, knowledgeable, interesting and very helpful. Best Buy and Samsung hopefully better know that they have a gem of a person working hard for everyone! Thank you Shane!

We purchased a Maytag wash machine in June 2023, as well as the Geek Squad warranty. 10 days ago our machine stopped mid-cycle. We called for service. They sent someone three days later who looked at it for four minutes then said they need to order parts, and have the parts delivered to our house and they would be back in one week. The parts arrived three days later. But no one came a week later. We called. They said they knew nothing about the order. No one on schedule to come. (this took a lot of time on hold). They set a new appointment for another week out. No one came. We called. They knew nothing about it. We escalated to manager. They promised they would send someone the next day. Today is the "next day". We called to ask what time they will arrive. They have no record of saying they will come. We asked for a manager. They said they cannot transfer to a manager because it's "not their system". They promised to have a manager call. No manager has called. This is a combination of the Geek Squad having absolutely no organization, no system. Also, I'm not sure they are even trying to schedule the appointment. Best Buy is doing nothing to stand behind this.

I am furious that I was way overcharged for a port for my new Apple book 13. I priced the item on Prime and Amazon for the same item USB C Adapter for MacBook Pro, MacBook USB HDMI Adapter,7 in 1 MacBook Pro HDMI Adapter with 4K@60HZ with 3 USB 3.0 Ports, SD... 4.6 out of 5 stars 639 reviews $29.99 I paid $107.00 for the same item. I will never return to the Box Store. What a rip off for the same adapter. Ridiculous and this is why stores are not surviving. No one wants to fill like you were taken advantage of when they buy items.

I returned a laptop and got a different one, they applied the credit for my return to the price of my new purchase. Imagine my surprise when the first bill came and they are charging me for both laptops! I called credit card service and they passed me off to customer service, they then passed me back to customer service where I was talked in circles by a guy I'm not sure was even understanding what the issue is! This is my second time dealing with their customer service, the first time I spent 3 hours being bounced around from one person to another and being talked in circles. Is this how they work? Is this a hallmark for them?!

I ordered a TV from Best Buy and they set the delivery up through UPS. UPS said they were going to deliver on a certain day and I took the day off as well as leaving instructions to the driver to call me and deliver to the rear of my property. I waited at my back door with my phone in hand and saw no delivery driver. Imagine my surprise when I received a text message saying the driver attempted the delivery but no one was home. I called UPS and they said they would make the delivery the next day. I told them no, that I wouldn't be home, and that I lived in a high-crime area. I asked them to instead deliver on the weekend. They said sure. I received a text the next day while I was at a Dr appointment saying the TV had been delivered. I got home and there was no TV. I called both UPS and Best Buy and was told that a manager would call me back but they never did. I wrote a letter to Best But explaining that I wouldn't pay for something I didn't receive. They are still billing me, not only for the product but for the 2-year service plan on the product. I was a Best Buy Plus member and that's how they treat me. I'll never buy another thing from Best Buy again!

Only after moving out of MPLS and experiencing Geek Squad service at a Best Buy in CA, did I realize how horrific this Geek Squad is. I had multiple issues with my laptop during my time in MPLS , and every time I went in, not even the bare minimum was done to determine the issue. They usually just tried to just get me to cash in on my protection plan and replace the laptop, which was so annoying for a less than 2 year old laptop. One time they went back and cleaned the dust out. It's impossible to get an appointment, even on a weeknight. The staff is just lanky, chauvinistic nerds who talk down to women (even women with PhDs in math like myself).

I went to return a defective Roku and spent 30 minutes doing an exchange. When I got in line there was one person in front of me. One very slow returns person at the counter. The store had only a few customers. There were more workers than customers on the sales floor. Many employees were talking to each other and ignoring customers. A manager should have sent someone else to help with returns. There were plenty of people on the clock. I was finally helped by a friendly person to do my exchange only to find out that they were out of stock. Now I had to go to the maplewood store to do the exchange. The staff at the Maplewood store was more attentive to the customers in the store than the staff at the Roseville store. The store managers did not seem to see the customers that were being ignored and me standing at the returns line, waiting for 15 minutes with only one person working slowly at the returns counter. There were plenty of staff not doing anything that should have helped the few customers in the store and the returns counter. There must have been some managers working, but they must not be on the sales floor watching. Several

We went in to buy a new TV that we did not need. It was July 4th weekend and a bit hot and miserable. A young man named James (I think) was incredibly helpful and super pleasant to talk with. My significant other is rather picky, asks a lot of questions and is not the easiest customer and James rolled with it well, answered every question, made suggestions and was super patient and kind! Best customer service we have EVER had in a Best Buy. Much appreciated.

I liked this Best Buy. Clean and bright inside. Friendly employees. Cheap USB keyboards to be had. Convenient location. Can't complain! Best Buy used to be the greatest store, full of my favorite things. Tapes, CDs, video games, gadgets, giant TVs, fancy cameras, car stereos. Hell, they even sold guitars for a while there. Of course, times changed and Best Buy scaled back its offerings. Glad they were able to pivot and stay relevant. There's something to be said about physical retail where you can see a product in person versus the blind 1-click-buy-it-now way we're so used to these days. I sound like an old man, lol.

I place an order from the store for three televisions. I also ordered all the hardware to go with it but that had to be a separate order. The order was supposed to be delivered on Friday These people deliver the hardware on Sunday. Why it all couldn't go together I don't understand. It's like they're going out of their way to create more confusion. I called today to re-order the necessary hardware to put my televisions on the wall. I spoke to one person and then he wanted me to wait another 20 minutes to place an order for something I was able to get on Amazon in five minute. Their unwillingness to provide good customer service cost them money but saved me a ton. They need new management.

I'm giving them 2 stars because my experience with the sale was satisfactory. The delivery was the absolute worst thing I've ever seen. My LG fridge suddenly quit and I was using dorm fridges for over a week. They hire these very unprofessional private contractors and the first delivery attempt they showed up 3 hours early and called when they were about 15 minutes away. They determined there was too much ice between the sidewalk and street after spending 15 minutes in my home getting ready to do the job and then they just suddenly decide they can't do it. The second attempt was the worst appliance delivery I've ever experienced. They damaged a spot on my front porch floor, were incredibly rude and unprofessional (one guy kept swearing over and over), made me remove my front door and it's pretty heavy, I snapped a picture of the dent in the porch floor and the one guy went ballistic over it and tried to make me sign a statement saying they didn't damage anything and denied making the scratch. It was almost laughable it was so ridiculous. He also couldn't shut the water off for the fridge and I had to do it for him, he also made me unfasten the line from the fridge. He also complained to his dispatcher that he "wanted space". He couldn't make up his mind apparently. On top of all this the fridge has dents in both doors but BB is going to swap it in a few days but these delivery folks are woefully unskilled and rude.

Ideally, product is delivered in non-damaged, working condition the first time. We have definitely disappointed you, and failed on our promise and would like to make it right.

Terrible service at the Geek Squad in this location. I had a broken screen and they told me to come back at a later time 4 times and when I came back all four times they still were not able to fix my screen because of an error they made on their end trying to get the diagnostic approved by apple. The last time I came in the manager Sam just stayed in the back and made a new employee go back and forth and be his messenger when telling me they would not be able to fix my phone after saying that they would be able to fix my phone no problem the other 3 times, not professional as a manager. Wasted so much of my time there with nothing to show.

I went in to drop off my laptop for scheduled service early since I was in the neighborhood. Even though the store looked like a Scooby Doo ghost town, I waited 5 minutes for Joey to help me. Joey then told me he couldn't help me because the associates were too busy to go through release paperwork with me. I almost never go through the trouble to post reviews, but when I am trying to exchange my money for services and am told "we're too busy" it is upsetting for a company with a teeter-tottering stock.

We just purchased a couple items for curbside pickup. We received notice that part of the order was ready. When we arrived the kid came out to tell us they were backed up and might not get our order until the next day and the other half of our order wouldn't be ready for two weeks (yes, it showed in store and they charged my credit card) I called customer service and was told fulfillment was the store's responsibility and I couldn't cancel the order until the full order was received in the store. This was the worst customer experience I can imagine. I will NEVER order from Best Buy again and share this experience with anyone who will listen.

Normally I don't review national chain stores as a general rule but do make exceptions when there's something particularly noteworthy (either positive or negative) to say. Fortunately, in this case, it's positive. We had my car stereo upgraded at this Best Buy. It's the first time we've used the Geek Squad for anything and found the experience overall to be pretty good. We went to the store, selected the stereo and the gentleman who rang us up sold us the related kits needed to actually install it in my car. We then made an installation appointment and they were able to fit in the work within two days. When we went for the appointment, they were running about an hour behind schedule (boo) but once they got to our car, the work was good. The team even went ahead and installed the microphone so that I was all ready to use the stereo Bluetooth option if I wanted. One other point I wanted to mention (and the reason I decided to break my no chain store review rule), the gentleman doing the installation was incredibly honest and told us that one of the kit items we'd been sold wasn't needed. He then returned the item for us and refunded the money we paid for it. I appreciated this greatly even though it wasn't a huge sum of money. It's the principle and the fact that they didn't just choose to ignore this or take extra money from us that really made an impression. Cheers.

I was given decent service whale looking For an iPad. Decent but slow with a great desire to get my phone number my email, and home address. They had my friend giving them his info for 10 min. They did not have simple things for the iPads they sell, like screen covers. Our sales person tried at first to sell me the wrong size, untill I pointed out it wouldn't fit. I don't think she was dishonest I think she didn't know. I didn't feel like it was a bad experience, just average.

Never again. 4 failed delivery dates. One time they actually showed up but dropped the refrigerator from the truck on to the street...then accused me of refusing to accept delivery. Customer service was terrible. I spoke to about 10 different people over the week and a half I waited for this appliance and only 3 of them were polite and helpful. The rest were rude, extremely rude or completely apathetic about the failure of their delivery teams. I found this experience absolutely shocking and so so frustrating. No one cared. I finally canceled after taking 3 half days off work, numerous hours on the phone, and a week and a half of total frustration. Ordered from Sears and got the appliance the next day. Definitely not a best buy! Never again.

I don't understand why we get different answers from the sales team on the floor and the geek squad at various Best Buy when they are the same company. Even when we confronted them, they just shrugged their shoulders. Here are examples of our quote experiences: a) first store tries to sell us a higher end cable. b) second store tells us to get the cheaper brand cable but tagged a $25 adder for some service we are not sure what it was for. c) third store won't even give us a quote because bringing our own boom box is against store policy. d) finally, we found a store that will install our boom box, use the cheaper cable and does not have extra adder. I get stressed walking into a BB. I never liked their customer service because it seems really fake and uninformed. My husband insists on getting his sound system installed there because he has a bunch of gift cards that he has to use. If not, I don't plan to step in a BB again with so many other choices in the market and online options.

Took my laptop twice to Geek Squad since I could not connect to internet. They spent about an hour on it and told me it was a hardware problem and that I needed a new computer. I decided to take it to a local small computer repair business. He fixed it and told me it was a virus, malware and a corrupted OS. Works like new now. Not sure why geek squad did not check for virus, etc but had a listened to advice and bought a new computer I would be out $1000 dollars.

I spent 450.00 on a computer, and Asus, that never worked. I was given the run-around by staff who repeated the phrase, "there is a process, follow the process". Their process amounted to my coming back five or six times after the computer had been 'fixed' a week later with the same complaint. Apparently, their 'Geek Squad' did no more than run routine checks. when I asked if they had tried to open a browser page and a word document, they looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. This entire experience has been infuriating--it's designed to wear you down, just to get you to go away. I will never set foot in another BB again, and strongly advise against doing business with this rip-off retail outfit.

To continue my #blackfriday reviews, I visited Best Buy both on the Thursday night of Thanksgiving and Friday morning. We were hoping to splurge and buy a nice TV this year for black friday, so we ventured out Thursday night to Best Buy. After luckily finding a really quick parking spot, we got in and asked about one of the TVs we were looking for, and were told those sold out really quickly, which prompted us to plan our camp out the next morning. So on Friday morning we arrived 2 and a half hours early (5:30) for their opening at 8am, and were 4th in line. This landed us a number 4 spot in line, and got the TV we wanted! They handled their door buster really well; at 7:15am they came out and handed out sheets of paper to those first in line to guarantee our purchase for the TV. As a result, we didn't have to worry about running in the store at 8am to grab the TV we wanted, and instead just had to go to the register, pay for the item, and pick up the TV in the back. Really simple process! The employees on Black Friday were all really accessible, and helpful anytime we had questions. We ended up buying a couple other items before we left as well. Great job to Best Buy for handling Black Friday well! We left with a 55 inch, 4k Toshiba Roku TV for $280 :D

Went to return the $60 power cord, thinking I had 30 days to return. BE WARE 15 day return policy. Might as well buy all your electronics at Costco their return policy is WAY better.

Hey so anyone who follows my posts knows that I was in the market for a new washer and that my experience with a local appliance dealer had been less than stellar, so the hubby and I headed over to Best Buy where we got a fair deal on a new washer. The sales rep made it easy. We knew approximately what we were looking for and he led us right there, showed us a few models, gave us a bit of time for us to discuss privately, came back and answered a few questions. Boom he sold us a washer, gave us an option of a way to lower that price even further. That was Monday night; the washer was delivered this morning, Wednesday of the same week. The guys who came to install it were great! We had been given Wednesday with a relatively broad time window as the expected delivery, then they texted me Tuesday with a more precise range. They texted again early Wednesday to confirm and then about 30 minutes before they arrived, we received both a text and a call letting us know they were on their way. When they arrived, the guys checked out the laundry room first, agreed to do a position shuffle to install the new washer closer to the water source and laundry sink, observed that our old washer's hoses were actually quite new and probably could be reused so uninstalled the hoses (so I'll be able to return the new ones that we didn't need - another savings). They then removed the old washer, did the space shuffle, installed the new washer, set it up on the test cycle and were ready to go. In addition these guys were polite. Big box retailers often take that rap for service; at least for our experience with Best Buy give them a fair chance they give a great customer experience.

I went in tonight roughly an hour before they closed and was really tired/out of it from a long day due to a migraine...but they still pulled out all the stops to assist me. I'm sure it had been a long day for them too being less than an hour until closing and all, yet they remained super polite and did their best. Even after the exchange, when I was looking for some accessories, they still jumped to assist and did everything they could to help me find what I needed. Sure, they will try to sell you stuff or upsell you when they see the chance... but that's part of their job... it's retail. They do seem give you enough information to at least make an informed decision and answered my questions honestly.

Only reason I am giving 1 star is because I can't give zero. Shopped at Best Buy many times for smaller purchases, great experience. This is regarding a larger purchase (washer and dryer). Y'all, I had the WORST time getting my new appliances. Here's the thing - the plumbers who did the actual installation couldn't have been nicer. They're from a 3rd party company. Here's the scenario: - Plumber #1 & his assistant come on my originally scheduled day to have the new washer and dryer installed. - Plumber #1 assesses my basement and is honest about the updates that need to be made to make the washer/dryer area up to code. No problem, I want my stuff up to code, right? No problem at all. - Then, of course, plumber #1 brings up a LARGE additional cost. After I'd already paid a ton for the appliances themselves plus the protection plan, I understandably wanted to talk to Best Buy to make sure I am actually responsible for this cost. - The Best Buy rep stated to me that I should NOT have to pay a dime extra than I have already paid, except for the the city license for the plumber to install the new washer/dryer. - Best Buy rep rescheduled the installation, and assured me that not only will I owe nothing additional except for the city license, but I will get a bit of money back on what I originally paid for the appliances as compensation for the inconvenience. At this point, I couldn't have been happier! THEN... - Plumber #2 and his assistant come on the reschedule date. They say what needs to be done and what the cost will be. - I say, well, Best Buy is covering this, so let me give them a call. - I speak to a Best Buy rep, and they completely dismiss everything the previous rep promised - they said OF COURSE I am responsible for the additional charges and NO I will not be getting any kind of discount/partial refund on my appliances. Here's the thing - I accept when there's a cost for something. Nothing is free, right? But the appliances were already expensive (as appliances are), and then I am told this LARGE additional fee (over $600) would be added on just to bring my basement washer/dryer area up to code. I can't afford to have these surprise costs, have someone promise to me that I won't be charged, then have it turn out that I actually owe all this money. I don't want to knock Best Buy overall, but I would STRONGLY suggest making appliance purchases elsewhere. Unless you have $600+ to burn that you might be charged. Again - plumbers couldn't have been nicer. Did a great job. This is 100% on Best Buy and their crappy communication.

I recently bought a radio for my F150 and a very nice young man assisted me with choosing the right one for me. After a few weeks in the truck, I need some more assistance in figuring out some issues. Hopefully whoever assists me this time will be as knowledgeable and fun to deal with as the original employee!

They really need to revamp their return policy when things don't actually work. A $45 restock fee for a phone with consistently muffled calls and a speaker phone that was utterly useless is ridiculous. Would be different if I just didn't like the color of the phone or I kept it longer than 5 days. I will say that the two associates that helped me were pleasant. I know they didn't make the rules so I didn't bother complaining to them. They are also the reason for 2 stars instead of 1 but never again will I spend a dime in that store.

I purchased an open box tv listed as having all the parts in excellent condition. When I picked it up it was shrink-wrapped so I couldn't see all that had been included but found that it had no remote or stand with it. Then the fun began. Finding that there is no way to talk to the store itself as all the calls are routed to the national phone customer service, I was first told by a very helpful gal that the computer was too slow to have my order yet but that I could call back the next day to get them to send those parts right out, although the cost difference would have to be sorted out with the store itself in person. When I called the next day the next helpful person took my information and said they could send the missing parts out from the service department and made careful notes of my needs then transferred me to another gal. There we started again from scratch with the problem as no notes had arrived and were told that they couldn't send any parts like this out that since it was open box I had to take it up with the store. Which means driving another fifteen miles through snow today to talk to them in person as there seems to be no way to get through to them on a telephone. I plan to just return it and stop shopping at Best Buy till they get their act together. You should be able to talk to a store directly.

For some reason I decided to buy a new TV on a whim the other day... I picked up a new LED "Smart" TV for under a grand, and I have NEVER seen anything with this much clarity in my entire life. It's frightening in a way! But I quite enjoy watching shows and feeling like I am literally a part of the live action. Although, eventually it does kind of hurt your eyes... hehe

Its Big ... Its Blue ... Its also quite empty. I kind of stopped coming here several years ago because they used to be kind of hard sell. Having recently been given some gift cards I went to go spend them. The place is more spacious than I remember. Probably because there appears to be less inventory. However, the range of items you can buy seems to have increased. I don't recall this place selling razors or curling irons before. Signage is kind of an issue if you want an item that isn't one of the major items of a major category. iPad - check. TV - check. Hard drive - ???. The staff here are courteous, the hard sell is gone. However, product knowledge ranges from deer in headlights to pretty good. Once I worked a minor issue, it was off to the register. No line at the register. Good for me, but it gave me a kind of melancholy feeling. As I gazed at all the square footage and all the employees I wondered "How it all can work?". Time will tell.

I'm chomping at the bit for the 4th season of Breaking Bad to come out. Turns out it's Tuesday, didn't read that part. They have a huge bin of classic CD's. I had to hunt down a clerk, but when I did he was very attentive, and even looked up a request to see if it was carried in another store, and could have it delivered. I got an AC in the past and it's still going strong. I like this location, and I gave careful note and bookmarked Ben's review.

I casually stopped by this Best Buy one Saturday afternoon to check out a laptop. True to form, there were a number of 'blue shirts' who asked if I needed help, but did a GREAT job hanging back and letting me get the lay of the land. I had a number of questions and the staff was awesome at answering them. Overall, great experience and I got the laptop that was the right fit for me!

I really hate writing bad reviews and try to see the good in various situations. However, this experience was pretty rough. I went in to trade in my phone and had to wait for about 30 minutes, which really wasn't bad. The sales guy who helped me wouldn't take the trade in because there was water damage and then tells me to wait for one of his co-workers to set them up for taking the trade in. I told him that I didn't want to wait, especially if they were just going to say no also, but he convinced me to stay. Then, when they passed over me in line, I asked him why I was still waiting around and he got very defensive saying, "Listen, I told you I couldn't trade it in." I totally understand that they couldn't trade it in, but I appreciate honesty and respect. Neither one was present here and I will not come back to this location.

Out in suburbia lurks one of the better Best Buy locations. Large place with sweeping selections of whatever you're looking to pick up. Go here to buy a CD, DVD, or personal electronics if you must. Do not go here to buy a computer. Call Dell or Apple or someone. Buying computers from a chain store is stupid. Buying a service plan from a chain store is even more stupid.

Its okay. As a Minnesota company wish I could rate it higher, but the shopping experience is not awesome. The staff are okay - but you're just a number. Selection is good, the stores are all overwhelming. I know its a place to go to get what I know is there. Otherwise, I avoid it. And Geek Squad is not awesome - if you're in need of computer repair go to Chip Heads.

I came here on Christmas Eve because I am the smartest person you have ever met on Yelp. I hate parking up here, but the store was great. You would think it would be all Brando, Apocalypse now, dead bodies and COD boxes; it was not. There was a friendly kid shuttling customers to each register which made the checkout pretty easy. I was in and out of the store in about 2 minutes on a crazy shopping day. Now if only Rosedale/ville/whatever could fix their stupid streets of one way hell.
