Google
The food is AMAZING! I love the bakery but there are areas for improvement. With great food also comes with some drawbacks. Be prepared to wait more than just a few minutes to receive your order. There are areas where customer service can improve as well. Because I live far, it is my go to place every time I come to town. During my last visit, I have found it worth it to order online prior to arriving. It helps reduce the 20+ minutes of wait time while standing in line. It’s a problem for me as a disabled person and there’s limited seats. Unfortunately, I still had to wait about 10 minutes to receive my order even though it was already waiting for me to pick it up (which I received the alert it was ready), and it was near the person behind the counter. Aside from the above mentioned, it’s a good bakery to go to. Edited to include the music is great entertainment while waiting to place order and pick up.

Google
I was told about this place by a friend that thought we would not go because the clientele base is of Haitian descent, but after trying one of their flaking beef patties i had to get more! To the credit of the people that frequent this business and the staff, no one shrieked when me and my wife walked in to order. The flaky beef or chicken or fish patties are amazing and their breads are as well. Be prepared to wait, but soo worth it.

Sammie

Google
Literally the best Haitian bakery in Broward. My go to every time I’m in town. They have the tastiest patties.

Myrlande A.

Google
The service is extremely rude and disrespectful. Customers who were waiting in line were ignored while employees allowed friends and others to cut ahead. During a very busy time, a cashier left customers inside—some waiting nearly two hours—to take orders from people outside, completely disregarding those already in line. While the bread may be good, the lack of basic respect and poor customer service make this place unacceptable. No business can thrive without valuing its customers.

Sebastien D.

Google
The food is great but the staff is extremely rude. They act as if you're a nuisance. This is my biggest problem with Haitian owned businesses. They dont concentrate their efforts into teaching their staff how to address customers and be courteous. We as haitian need to be better and acknowledge our patrons as without them, the business will close.

Elorac F.

Google
The patties were not freshly baked or fried. They reheated the patties and served to customers. I don’t even know how long the patties had been baked or fried, but they tasted horrible. We purchased two types of patties (pate kode and baked chicken patties). It is very important that you do better.

Jina J.

Google
This bakery was absolutely a staple in the community. The service, efficient and quality was up to par. When the owner Moise was front line and actively present; things were ran differently and with care. The service is absolutely horrifying now. The cashiers are rude, lack professionalism, and arrogant. Quality assurance measures should definitely be put in place to rectify this issue. The poor service is absolutely unacceptable.

Guyanese P.

Google
I purchased a bunch of items yesterday before diving back home to North Carolina. Let me tell you the cake slice was over $6. It was terrible inedible, dry and crumbly!!! I tried calling no response 😕 I'm so upset!!! The patties, duce and bread rolls were on point but the Soursop and Passion Fruit Juice was terrible tasting and weak.

Yelp
SLOPPY in Broward. I wish that I could give zero stars. This place used to be a staple in our community, our pride and joy. They used to prepare freshly hot Haitian bread with an irresistible aroma that you could find nowhere else. The patties were delicious and second to none. But since they stopped baking them their signature way, that place has been declining quicker than quick sand, and there's no reason to tolerate the outrageous wait times and their bad attitudes anymore. Also I constantly used to see people fuss because they placed their orders online and only for them to have the customer wait in line while they prepare it. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I strongly suspect that their kitchen equipment does not work and they get the food someplace else then bring it in bulk through the back. I say this because the patties and bread are not hot anymore yet the wait times are still intolerable. DISGRACE. Don't waste your time with these clowns. Go to Family Pompano Bakery instead.

JP L.

Yelp
Food is great. Really good patties. Plan to be there for at least an hour. Service is @SS. You couldn't pay the lady in front to want to be there.

Naé S.

Yelp
I ordered from them for the first time on Uber Eats, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much since it was about 30 minutes before the restaurant close. But wow .. the patties came hot, fresh and in less than 20 mins they arrived. The packaging kept the patties perfectly warm, they tasted like they came straight out of the oven. For a first time customer, I'm seriously impressed. They live up to their name!

Patrick F.

Yelp
This is truly the best Haitian bakery in Florida. Their Haitian paties are amazing. They have no competition. Their service has greatly improved in the past year. They have figured out a way to efficiently service their numerous customers. I highly recommend this bakery.
google avatar

Krystal M.

Yelp
I ordered the dozen Haitian patties with a mix of beef, chicken, and fish, and they are SO GOOD! The flakiness was perfect. Light, crispy, buttery layers that didn't fall apart or feel greasy. Each filling had its own vibe: the beef was rich, the chicken was flavorful, and the fish had a nice little kick. Honestly, some of the best patties I've had down here. Definitely worth it.

David L.

Yelp
The clerk JANINE was extremely rude, she makes everyone feels like a nuisance. I would NOT take my money to that place until they have a more pleasant server.
google avatar

Yvonette I.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. They have some the best Haitian quick snacks available. My go to is Paté Kode. This type of paté is such amazing hearty and filling breakfast meal. . They have regular paté that comes in 3 different flavors (fish, chicken and beef). I also really like the drink called AK100. You can get it hot or cold. Very delicious. They have Haitian bread and Haitian cookies. Now be aware the lines are loooonggg. To avoid the lines go when it's raining. You know Floridians are afraid of water. Lol. Definitely go check them out. Even with long lines I will still go visit them because they are worth it.
google avatar

Vanessa O.

Yelp
I love the paté kode here so whenever I'm in town I make sure to stop by. I've also bought regular beef patties and the bread rolls. I can only speak on these items I've bought. Great choices. The paté is usually made to order and as long as they don't put eggs in mine, I'm a happy camper. It's fresh, juicy, with a good bit of spice. I prefer the herring but I also like the others. Issues here--the time it takes to get your orders even though I ordered online and the multiple times they tell me they "ran out of pikliz" when that is suppose to come with the paté kode. If they can be more time efficient, it would make things a lot better. Other than that, good patty place. The name says something.

JessBeReel N.

Yelp
Great Haitian patty's and AK 100.. Line is always long for a reason but once you get that food.... LAWD!
google avatar

Juselle D.

Yelp
This bakery runs like a well oiled machine. They have so many different Haitian pastries and cakes. They are really well known for their Haitian bread. I love it here and have been coming here over 10 years. The owner takes pride in his business. It's clean, up to date, they have so many different things that are specific to Haiti. You can get Haitian peanut butter, soursop juice, Haitian sodas, and Haitian snacks. I go specifically for their Haitian patties and bread. They come out of the oven nice and warm and are the best I have ever had. I actually tried to compare the patties from Best in Broward to some other places. None can compare. They have my business as long as they have a business lol. Kudos to a business that knows how to do it!
google avatar

Bishop Sherman D.

Yelp
Totally the best bakery in broward, the chicken patties are and the breads are always hot and good
google avatar

S S.

Yelp
I used to love coming to this bakery and I loved having a Haitian bakery right in my own neighborhood. The only reason why I didn't give this place a 1 star is because the food is actually good. This location is ALWAYS slammed packed. Line is outside the door most days. They created a mobile app so you can place a mobile order for pickup but the app is a mess. Half the items are not listed on the app and by the time you come and pick up you are waiting just as long as the people who didn't mobile order. They always run out of stuff the last few times I've gone they never have anything. Last time I went for bread. They ran out. Today I went for Pattie's they ran out at 6:00 pm. Two and half hours before closing. This place has been around for years and knows the volume of customers they get and still are not prepared. Disappointing. So consumer Beware.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been coming here since I was in high school and The patties have not changed and still are delicious. I definitely recommend you trying both the beef and the chicken patties

Yelp
Please visit this bakery if you want to taste a real Haitian patty! Yes, I'm Haitian so I'm a bit bias because I think our patties are the absolute best but it's proven when I see so many other people enjoying the patties, especially from this bakery. I've been eating Haitian patties since I was in the womb so having a bakery close to my home is perfect! My parents and I always order patties or bread from this bakery. On this specific visit, I order three fish Haitian patties and one Akasan. The patties are baked to perfection. Soft but still have a nice crisp and flaky just the way I like it! The salt fish in the middle is so delicious! Also, i ordered an Akasan because it's one of my favorite Haitian drinks, after cremas. It's a Haitian drink made mostly from cornmeal. It can be served hot or cold; I wanted cold to go along with my hot, freshly baked patties. I wasn't the biggest fan of their Akasan because it's not as thick as I like. The consistency of the Akasan was a bit thinner than what I'm used to. It was still good though. The line was incredibly long! But we all waited patiently to place our orders and then waited for about 5 minutes for my order to be served to me. I will continue to support great Haitian businesses!

Gretchen Y.

Yelp
Was recommended this Bakery to get some good Haitian patties. Line was long but quick. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bought a mixture of 10 patties: Chicken, Beef, and Fish. I can't for the life of me remember how much a patty cost but it was inexpensive. Each patty was flaky, fresh, and delicious. Only complaint is some weren't filled properly so it was mostly pastry.

John Bradley C.

Yelp
these people have no respect for people's time. even if you order ahead and they do not provide any information to their customers. I don't care how much people praise this place food I have not tried it and will never!

Yelp
I love Haitian culture... from the food, music, people, language, I indulge in it all! On my side of town, this bakery is the best for Haitian baked goods, and patties! Expect it to be a hole in the wall like most Caribbean restaurants. Do not expect 5 star decor and presentation, however expect 5 star flavor! The patties are soft, buttery and flaky with lots of meaty filling in the middle. This is a plus! If you know anything about Haitian patties... the joke is that it's all crust and no meat! Expect when you bite into these patties to taste the flavorful filling. They have beef, chicken, smoked herring, and saltfish patties. They are all good. Only $1.05 for each patty. Their homemade breads (hard dough bread) is also very good. Tastes great toasted with butter and a cup of tea or coffee in the morning. Best of all, the Haitian cake! I love it. Not too dense and dry. Very flavorful, you can taste the notes of spices, the essences of vanilla and almond, its moist and fluffy. You can get it with or without icing. Only $2.79 a slice. They also sell it as a whole if you pre order it. You can also purchase Cremas (Similar to Baileys or Rum Cream), peanut butter, crackers, and other Haitian sweets, delicacies, and baked goods. I am here at least twice a month for the patties and cake! It's always good! Never a bad day! Sometimes you have to wait a little because its packed, but it's well worth the wait! Disclaimer: please dont wear lipstick while eating these patties, the flakes will stick to your lips Lol. And, dont eat it in your car unless you plan on vacuuming the same day!

Ann M.

Yelp
they should call themselves worst in broward. Why offer online ordering if you dont honor the pick up time. placed an order for 8:20 pick up and did not get my food until 8:50. they seem so unorganized. if you have time to waster order your food there for pick up!
google avatar

Genevieve G.

Yelp
Still tastes as good as the first time I tasted them. I never say this about a restaurant but they undervalue themselves by charging $1.00 per patty. They should charge $1.99 each patty and if you buy a dozen or more than they can sell them at a rate of $1.50 per patty. I feel guilty eating something this good for such low prices. Know your worth!!! lol

Neg Y.

Yelp
Terrible service / Poorly structured. Those people have no concepts of time. They are very consistent with the bad service.

Abby A.

Yelp
The service is absolutely terrible but the Pattie's are great . If they had better service I would scream for everyone to come but it's always an issue and the service is always garbage but the food is good!
google avatar

Christine P.

Yelp
The food is good but the wait can be much and ordering over the phone can be a hassle. No one ever picks up. But the food is really good!!!
google avatar

Stanley C.

Yelp
This is my favorite Bakery in the United States I use to fly out to NY for Patties on Jamaica Ave Queens. After trying out their patties I've been buying it there. Best Haitians Bakery Patties in the Americas period.

Cesia P.

Yelp
Great Haitian Pattie's! There can be a long line but the prices are super fair. Absolutely recommend

Yelp
I used to travel over 40 minutes just to get some of their fresh and frozen patties. My parents are the ones who told me about this place and they loved their patties so much that even after they relocated to central Florida they would have me bring dozens of frozen patties from this bakery whenever I would go up to visit. When my father recently passed I knew there was no other patties we should have for the reception after the wake than "Best in Broward". I tried placing an order online for 9 dozen patties (3 dzn beef, 3 dzn herring, 3 dzn codfish) but kept getting an "error" message. I tied calling for days and kept getting a "busy" message. I was finally able to get thru via telephone and spoke to Thompson. I explained to him that I had not been able to place my order online and he proceeded to take my order over the phone. I (over) explained that these patties were going to Orlando and were for a funeral so I needed to be sure they would be ready on time. He assured me that they would be and if there was any issues during pick up to ask for him. My bestfriend went to pick up the patties on her way up for the services and low and behold not only was the order not ready, it had never been processed. Furthermore they were out of herring and she would need to wait 15 minutes for them to prepare more. 15 minutes turned into 30 minutes which then turned into 45 minutes. When my bestfriend called to tell me what was going on I immediately asked to speak with Thompson who initially refused to get on the phone. When he finally did I asked what happened to the order I placed and he refused to even acknowledge my question. He just kept saying "we're out of herring" in a whisper. I again asked "what happened to the order I placed with you 4 days ago??!" To which he replied "we're out of herring do you want chicken". I'm sure in the grand scheme of things, they don't care about my business (obviously) but I will never again frequent this bakery. That 45 minute wait ended up having my bestfriend arrive over 3 hours late due to hitting traffic and only getting to the wake in time to drop off the patties and have the guests grab them on the way out. So disappointed in the lack of accountability with this business. They've lost a loyal customer of over 3 years.
google avatar

Andy P.

Yelp
Long wait at times but the food is worth it trust me everything smells and taste good.

Mireille M.

Yelp
Excellent Haitian patties (pâté) and fresh Haitian bread. Young man at register was very pleasant!

Random W.

Yelp
I ordered 18 chicken patties only to get home and discovered that they give me codfish (morue) patties instead. To make matters worse, they were stale. It's as if those patties had been sitting in a cold container for days. I called the restaurant several times; no one picked the phone.
google avatar

Jennie A.

Yelp
Been here countless times. My all time favorite is the fish pate kode. It is full of meat and remind me of Haiti every time I take a bite. I've had all their patties and they are flaky, buttery and full of deliciousness!

Robert V.

Yelp
The food of course is excellent the friendly atmosphere, the professional staff. The pâtées, the bread are amazing.
google avatar

Shirley G.

Yelp
This bakery is one of a kind. It is a great representation of Haitian culture. I have been back twice this bakery this week. This bakery makes authentic Haitian patties that are baked to perfection. I have tried pretty much all the flavors which are fish, chicken and beef patties and cannot choose a favorite. Again, I highly recommended this bakery. The staff are extremely welcoming . They also sell fresh Haitian bread and pistach, which are peanut brittles. Will definitely be back :-)
google avatar

Ken R.

Yelp
Omg I love the pastries here. I get the box of patties all the time; beef or fish it's always amazing and fresh. I just wish they were available on Grubhub or Uber Eats smh

Natacha H.

Yelp
Well, their customer service falls right along with all the other Haitian businesses ways of dealing with customers. I don't know why I expected differently from them. I just hope that Haitians learn to change and improve on the skills that drives business. I went online to place an order. This process should be simple if your website is running well. On my case it lasted more than 20 minutes unsuccessfully place my order. I decided to contact the bakery via phone and needless to say the lady was pretty RUDE. When we will start seeing Great Customer Services in our Haitian business's?
google avatar

Amari K.

Yelp
Usually, this bakery provides good service along with good food and at a fast pace. This was not the case today, however. I had ordered my food and moved over to the line to wait for it. It was taking longer than usual so I asked the worker why it was taking so long. She looked at me and ignored my question. I didn't get the food until thirty minutes later. I didn't get the lady's name because they don't even have name tags for their customers, and when i got my food it was raw in the middle. Even though today was an off day, they still provide immaculate tasting food.

Rebeca G.

Yelp
"The customer service is very professional. The employees are very patient and well mannered The food is cooked very well and the prices on the menus aren't pricy. It's really the best bakery in Broward. I've been going their for years now, every since middle school .. This bakery never seems to disappoint me The food taste great especially their patties ohh u need to try them."

E. E.

Yelp
They are definitely one of the best, if not the best, Haitian bakeries in Broward. You won't be disappointed with the patties or loaves of bread (my usual order). They have a great selection of items on their menu. The place is always clean (a major plus). Be prepared for a long wait, depending on your time of arrival. While there's a table and a few chairs, the bakery isn't really a sit-down location.

Jessica J.

Yelp
This was the best Haitian bakery until today they input this new policy best " If you had to call to place an order. Call the store when you're outside" it's tape outside on the store door! Which is great to avoid the long line. The cashier Nadeg is so rude! She didn't take my order the first time I called. The second time I called to let her know I'm outside ready to pick order, she hangs up. Call the store again asking to speak the manger she hangs up again. I ended up wait in the long line (20-30 minutes) when I finally got inside the store. 1) nothing but attitude from her. 2) She did not call the manager for me when asked etc. I left They Should Have Better Customer Service Employees Than Her ! ! !
google avatar

Jo L.

Yelp
The patés and bread is amazing . Haven't ordered a cake from here but I hear good things . There's always a line on weekends . I got several references from Haitian friends for this place before I tried it. The patés are only $5.10 for a dozen ! Smells great in here .

Mytsouka L.

Yelp
The food is amazing! Customer service, is the most horrible I have ever experienced. I pre-ordered and pre-PAID for my order, and when I went to pick it up, before my flight out of state, they could not find my order, then they told me that they broke down my order and sold it, asked if I could come back the next day, which I could not, since I was flying out. The thing is, if I paid for something, it is mine, you need to hold it for me, at least until you closed that day. For that reason they lost a customer.
google avatar

Che M.

Yelp
Hands down best place to get Haitian baked goods. My only con is the wait, but you should not rush perfection. I was a loyal customer to "Sunrise Bakery," but now? No. I can not go back, I am sticking to "Best Bakery."

Verline J.

Yelp
I love the food here. I usually get both types of fish patties. I also get the pate kode. It's always busy so call ahead or order online. This is a bakery so do not expect to really sit down to eat. Overall absolutely Amazing food

Skyy J.

Yelp
Save your time and energy don't call in orders if you want go stand in line but don't call to order worst place to go just because they are the only one on that side.

Sarah E.

Yelp
They make you wait 45 minutes for a pate kode. The employees are nice with good customer service, I won't be back. I called to place an order for pate mode hot dog they don't take orders for hot dogs I had to come in. When I got there I waited 45 minutes when I was told 15 minutes.
google avatar

D B.

Yelp
Love this place! The bread is always fresh. Even when its crowded the wait is worth it.
google avatar

Veronica G.

Yelp
A Haitian friend recommended this bakery as I've been on a search for Haitian patties since relocating from New York. There was a long line with about 6 people ahead of me. I knew the baked goods would be delicious as I heard chatter all around in Haitian creole. I ordered two fish (Morue) cod patties and finished them before I got home. The patties were flakey on the outside and soft and succulent in the center. The cod isn't spicy and has a mild fish flavor combined with herbs and vegetables. I recommend you try them out!

J C.

Yelp
Great Haitian pastries and customer service! I have been eating here for years. They make the best patties, varieties of bread (especially zucchini bread) and other Haitian treats. I recommend Best Bakery In Broward to everyone

Steff B.

Yelp
The patties are really good! This place is usually full and has a long line, be prepared to wait.

N N.

Yelp
In town from NY and stopped by for some patties. Although the line was long (as expected, who doesn't love a Haitian patty!) they moved it along quickly. The wait was long but that was also expected due to the volume of sales. The staff was very pleasant and smiled often. And those patties were delicious!!!!! Flaky, flavorful and seasoned to perfection! Some of the best I've ever had.
