Best Western Gustaf Froding Hotel & Konferens

Depends where in Karlstad you are going, but this was a great location for me!! The hotel is pretty old, not that much have been done. Kind of cheap feeling breakfast, but the dinner was really good!! All of the staff that i met was also very helpful and kind!! Would love a visit in the summer, and to bad i dident take the time to visit the sauna or training facilities!

WORST staff ever at this hotel. ||Zero stars from me!!||Its not okey to have any fun here.||And I orderd a single room..what did I get? A room for disabled persons. I wasted two nights in this place. ||Do NOT go to this hotel. ||And when I contacted the boss, I just heard bad things about my self. ||Please, people, dont go to this hotel. They don’t deserve anything good. ||Most crap ever.

Best hotel in Karlstad for the price. The spa and outdoor pool is really nice. Staff 5/5. Gym is good, breakfast very good.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly and I think the rooms are quite spacious and large with a good sized bathroom. I was in a rush the following morning so I didn't get breakfast but I did get a coffee to take with me and looking around at what was available, it looked very well presented and an excellent selection.

Paid 1600 for a standard double room. Expected good standard. This was more of a hostel. Very basic standard. ||The spa was very small. ||Restaurant had good food and I envoyes the meat balls. ||Far from center.

Visited the hotel for breakfast. The dining room is nice, calm and quiet. The food served is ok, quite tasty and fresh. I liked the atmosphere. Can't really say I enjoyed it, there was no "wow" - feeling.

This hotel is placed in a nice and quiet area with a nice pool to relax in. Great breakfast and a decent restaurant.

When you first come to this hotel, it gives you an immediate feeling of old soviet military stations. I'll leave it up to each one how they feel about such architecture. Inside however it has a lovely blend of professional hotel vibe, style and swedish tradition. The hotel is in general very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Makes you feel welcome but not disturbed. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as several items quickly ran empty, but no refill where placed out. The restaurant food was excellent. Easy parking outside the hotel. Highly recommended!
