Best Western Hobart

Great hotel! It’s located walking distance from the CBD so airport bus stops are still quite accessible. Rooms were larger than expected but had all the necessities. I think the bathroom was newly renovated but the design causes the water from the shower area to flood to the bathroom entrance. Staff were very nice and helpful - they kept my luggage for me after I checked-out. There’s also a self-laundry area so quite convenient for visitors staying for a few days.

The building is a dated cinderblock structure. It doesn't look very good from the outside. Fortunately the rooms, bathrooms, restaurant, bar and lobby have been tastefully renovated. ||It was a couple blocks from the happening streets, but an easy enough walk. There's a typical menu restaurant on site. There's an excellent Italian restaurant a block away. The Skybus stop for the airport is about a 5 minute walk.||If you need to store your luggage while exploring elsewhere in Tasmania for a few days, the storage is complimentary. A nice feature. ||I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We stayed for 3 nights. Fantastic location. Best staff and service. They went above and beyond to help me out. Rooms are bit old but doesn't compromise in quality and service. Definitely staying here again. So many reataurant options close by.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Housekeeping gave us so many extra towels and front desk were always there to answer questions. We had a suite with a king and two doubles that was very spacious with two separate bedrooms. It was at the end of the hallway and very quiet. Excellent bedding and comfy bed. Bathroom was updated but small. Could do wit replacing balcony doors and bathroom doors, but other than that everything was great. Very good value for tge price we paid. 

Had a great stay at Best Western Hobart. Staff were very kind and accommodating - they stored my luggage after check-out. Room was clean and way larger than expected. Design of the bathroom wasn’t that good, the water from the shower area would spill onto the area by the bathroom floor. There was also a laundry room - so convenient for long stay travelers. Room also had a smart TV so Netflix was available.

Best Western Hobart. Ok so we had a great time at best Western but its worth a mention that first of all its up a hill , i know not strange in Tas but still. Also the hotel is dated and due a reno. Balcony room is not really a Balcony either. Despite all that the hotel was clean and staff were amazing.

A very nice, comfortable and a conveniently located hotel in the city. City centre (Elizabeth street) is walking distance. People working here are real gems. Always smiling, greeting and in simple terms being happy. I loved 2days stay here. Parking is available in the basement for 2 and 3 meter in height vehicles.

When we arrived we where asked to pay for parking witch we weren’t aware of it was 60$ for 3 days but the lady at the front desk said they will cover it as we where not aware. The bed was so uncomfortable and made us itchy the pillows felt like I was laying on a brick we had a king bed and they where 2 single beds put together and they where different heights and they kept sliding apart the tv is old and doesn’t have any streaming services we where only given 2 mugs and 2 spoons for our 3 days stay there was no dishwashing liquid or anything we asked for new cups and some cutlery and a plate and they sed they won’t deliver them to us and we had to goto the restaurant to get them ourselves and when we did all the cups where dirty one had some lipstick on it. And there was also no where to hang our towels so we had to leave them on the floor I was honestly so excited to leave waste of money

It served its purpose. Good location central to most things in Hobart. The room was clean but the bed is extremely uncomfortable. Our air conditioning was not blowing cold air they tried to tell me how to fix it instead of fixing it themselves. We ended up sleeping with the sliding glass door open

A maybe 2-star hotel. Not clean but not dirty. Terrible internet. The food was absolutely nothing to write home about but it is in a good location.

As a first timer to Tasmania and the Aussie experience, I was excited to check in at our first stop, Hobart. The Best Western staff was friendly and helpful and we were located within walking distance to the downtown area, big pluses! The room itself was clean although it definitely had a lived in ambiance. The common areas, however, had stained carpets which created a feeling that the property lacked a bit of care. Our stay was for 3 nights and when they cleaned the room each day they would not always remember to replenish the shampoo, shower gel, coffee and provide enough clean towels. The fitness center was sparsely equipped with only 1 bike, 1 treadmill, 2 weight contraptions and 3 kettlebells, so a bit disappointing. All in all, it was an economical shelter choice and we had a great time exploring the city of Hobart!
