Best Western Hotel & Casino Kamuk

Nice place with some good food spots around the area. Please be aware that I had items stolen (cash and clothes) from my room via cleaning services; the same will probably happen if you stay here. I definitely suggest going somewhere else if you do not want people going through your things!

The hotel is old and in desperate need of a touch up. The room was súper small, same as the bed which was also very hard and not comfortable at all, the head board was loose. I wasn’t able to take a shower because the water is so close to the wall that it makes it imposible, and when I let the front desk know the response was that they will notify to have it fixed, however didn’t even ask if I wanted to shower in a different one. It’s a shame because the location is amazing and the staff is nice enough, however it is not a comfortable experience.

Basic hotel on the waterfront in Quepos. There are a few small shops and restaurants nearby and the bus station is around the corner. There's no easy access to a beach in the area, but a short $1 bus ride will get you to lovely sandy options.||Most of the hotel is open to the air, but the rooms themselves have air conditioning. Beds conformtable, hot water availability was so so.||Breakfast was good, served from a simple menu with a mixture of international options.

The Best Western is in downtown Quepos, close to everything including nice restaurants and an attached casino. Casino m&m is $5 a table for blackjack. The breakfast is set menu which was okay nothing great. Light breakfast is probably the best. View from the breakfast place to the ocean was great. Front desk staff, housekeeping, and breakfast staff were all accommodating and wonderful. The biggest issue is the noise from the street - ends late and starts early. Plus parking, while free on the streets, is a safety concern after 11pm - the hotel has a guard that watches the 8 cars right in front, but you have to get lucky to get a spot. I would not stay again just due to street noise - and as we had a rental car, we could have driven to town from a nearby resort. However, the convenience of walking to dinner, groceries, ocean was also great.

Pros: room clean, balcony views were beautiful, breakfast food delicious. Options something for everyone. Pool was ok. Cons: parking was difficult even with secured area. Beds were Hard!! Pool smaller sized. Room was so noisy didn't sleep 4 nites we were there. Room 405 faces main street, so loud with vehicle s made staying there difficult. We will not recommend staying here. Sad because the staff is so great!!

Overall room was clean, bed was hard, not comfortable at all. Staff very attentive. Pool quite small.plenty of loungers. Easy walking to shopping,restaurants. Parking inconvenient, street parking nightmare finding one. Breakfast was good options were limited, but tasted good.

Room was clean, great breakfast with a nice view of the beach. Very good customer service. It was lots of noise outside but it didn’t bother me at all. Very clean hotel

Had the worst experience with the most incompetent guy at the reception yesterday evening that I have ever seen. Also the included breakfast is a joke
