Hotel Bremen City

Our room was lovely and clean, the bathroom was very small but everything in it was clean and working. Location within walking distance to both the train station and city. We had a very nice 2 days in Bremen and would highly recommend both the hotel and city.

the hotel has a convenient location to the center. the rooms are large, reminiscent of an apartment, there is a small kitchen. unfortunately the windows let in a lot of sounds and you can hear all the drunken screams from the street. the rooms are poorly cleaned, the toilet with the lid were stained with shit.

When we arrived for night check-in, Mr. Olcay was very helpful. It was impossible to take a shower in the room. The shower drain was clogged. They promised a new room the next morning but forgot. The employees are very good but the hotel is old and neglected. They will be returning from the hotel now. We apologize for making a comment. We hope to please you when you come again, but I will not come again. The owner does not deserve his fee because I used the room for a day without taking a shower.

Not a good experience. I turned up to the property at 0300hrs on Monday 1 July and they had cancelled my booking - apparently because I 'arrived too late'. I had no where else to go as all of the other hotels were fully booked - meaning I had to sleep in the lobby. No shower / no comfortable bed. This was despite the fact I had listed my arrival time as between 0100-0200. I received no communication from anyone at the hotel to check if I was coming and I tried to contact them by phone to inform them my train was delayed but got no answer. I have stayed in many Best Westerns all over the world and never been treated like this. If you are arriving for check in after midnight, do not book this hotel!!

A very good and exceptionally clean hotel for a good price. The American version especially in New England really barely holds the standards. The sheets are super clean - last time I had such in 5 star hotel in France.

If you need a simple and at the same time acceptable stay near the historical center, this could be a good choice. I saw some people complaining about noise, but I got lucky. Though, I have to admit, if the neighbors (neighborhood outside) were noisy, I would have to use the provided remedy (earplugs). The walls feel like they are made of paper. ;)

Room floors and furniture are in dire need of a refurbishment, as can be seen in the photos. Otherwise, they're quite spacious and the hotel's location makes it supereasy to get to when arriving by train. Also, getting from the hotel to the city centre is a very interesting 5 min walk.

Wonderful service!! Great breakfast with a great selection and it tasted delicious!! The receptionists were so helpful and super friendly!! Could not have asked for more!! Location is great right in the city by lots of restaurants by the trains and trams! Rooms are small, but very clean! Don’t need more! Would highly recommend!!!
