Best Western Hotel Svava

The room was cozy with the beds being very comfortable. Looking out of the window you have a view on the hemköp supermarket with people shopping there. Everything is very clean, tidy and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and had everything I could have wished for. Especially liked the spiced christmas bread. Loved it! Will stay here again in the future.

Centrally located, which is a plus. OK-ish price. The staff at the entrance were friendly, and the check-in/out process are pretty simple. Our rooms window faced the inner shopping center, which meant they didn't open and led to the room being a bit stuffy and difficult to breathe in. There wasn't a hair dryer in the room, though I'm assuming you could probably ask for one at reception. The double bed room was two single beds put together, which isn't entirely a deal breaker but led to awkward shifts at times. Other than nitpicking, there was some black rice-like food left on the green bedsheet cover in the rooms, which wasn't too pleasant. Edit: there was a hair dryer in the room, it was a bit hidden. The breakfast was also good.

Nothing special. Just an ordinary tourist hotel. But for the record: they have three official stars and do not claim anything else. And they live up to the classification.||Located centrally near the train station (major plus) and inside a block containing a sort of mall ("Sveva").|If you arrive by car you can park in the underground garage and take the lift right up to the reception. Fair parking fee (a bit reduced for hotel guests).||The small reception area doubles as a "lobby bar", where pre packed drinks can be had: beer on bottles, wine on mini (airplane) bottles, coffee and so on.||The standard double room was quite small and I can imagine that travellers with large bags may have a problem moving around. One chair and a minimal desk|If you have larger bags, do consider choosing a larger room..|Everything clean though and no ordinary amenities to be missing.|Beds very comfortable.|AC present, but a mystery how to maneuver it. Fixed on 20 degrees and with buttons to raise or lower. However, alternate inputs didn't result in any change.||Breakfast: a quite ordinary Swedish hotel breakfast. The standard herring (as should be found on a Swedish breakfast buffet) present. But no salmon.|Skip the scrambled eggs - it's an "egg product" and not real scrambled.|The breakfast room is obviously too small to accommodate all the hotel guests, so you have to book a slot time with the receptionist the evening before.||Reception staff nice and helpful.||On the whole quite a fair hotel for the price. For a night or two travelling through it's a definite option. Especially if you arrive by train.

We had a great stay! 😊 Friendly staff and a comfortable room. There was a balloon stuck on the ceiling, which was a bit funny but no big deal.🤭 🎈The cleaning staff were cheerful and attentive. One of them kindly helped us when we looked a bit lost downstairs in the morning. 😅 The underground parking was super convenient using the hotel’s QR code is cheaper than the parking app. The breakfast looked delicious, and the location is perfect right in the city center. Not deducting any points because we were very satisfied overall! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful experience at this Best Western. The staff truly stood out; their warm, welcoming, and helpful nature ensured a smooth and relaxed stay from check-in to check-out.||We had breakfast on two mornings, and it was excellent each time, with plenty of fresh options that really set us up for the day. Our room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need for a comfortable stay.||The location is absolutely fantastic, placing a wealth of superb spots within a pleasant stroll. Our stay was a delightful experience from start to finish, and we would certainly choose this hotel again.

This is our first time to visit Sweden as a family of 5. And we are so glad to have stayed here. The receptionist gave us great recommendations from places to eat and how to best go to certain destinations. Our room was unexpectedly larger than the usual hotel experience -more like an apt style. Perhaps it helped that my husband booked this hotel stay many months prior. And we overlooked a neighboring grocery store deli. It felt like a home away from home APT feel. The internet was decent enough, which we appreciated for our 3 children. Even my 3 year old daughter was sad to leave. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Excellent breakfast buffet with huge variety! Staff were friendly and welcoming. It was so helpful to be able to check in early with all our luggage! We had a great stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

Life changing breakfast buffet. The homemade bread and carrot life will stay with me for ever. And the staff were all SO LOVELY!!! They all deserve infinite pay rises and all expenses paid holidays. 10/10. Can’t recommend highly enough.
