Best Western Hotell Karlshamn Spa & Relax

The room was meant to be "Sound isolated" yet we heard everything from the rooms around us. All the restaurant personnel seemed annoyed at your presence, there was no service mindedness at all, barely any words from the server. Not a pleasant experience in general. Reception staff were polite atleast.

Cold rooms no thermostat. High prices for a small hotel. No cleaning in the room in spite of staying two nights. Limited lactose free and gluten free options. Advertised as a Spa hotel but the spa is not included in the room price. I do not recommend.

We spent our two day visit here. Clean rooms, nice staff. The beds were very bad, the spa made up for it. Good spa, clean and cute! Good for family’s with older children/couples/elderly. The breakfast was also good but nothing exceptional. Location wise it’s a bit off, but good if your by car. There’s a big supermarket in walking distance if you need anything. Price wise it’s fair.

The bathrobe was only in size small, so we coulden used them. No other size was avaibul. We order cava from the spa but no one come and served us. The outside jazzuci was closed, and no information about that. The man who work in the bar was|uninterested to serve the guest. He was more interest in talking too other in the staff.

When we came in this Hotel (we had reservation) reseption worker (2 ladies make us waiting and start to charging more money for dog and baby.) In BAR it's empty! ( don’t have any barmen) reseption lady fill up for me bear ( first one i plan order NEGRONI) But i will see there it was problem with cocktail making because she will start too look at the book how to make it. Rooms: good. But in sommer period was hot. Just bath and toilet looks like a made in 1999. (because I use in this age. 😀) Door close very loud. Now about food: (frokost) same like all in Scandinavia. Egg bacon and etc. (SO MUCH SALT) restaurant arena looks like 4 star. We use vaffel makker and that's was a best in frokost!

We spend 4 nights in the hotel.||As we have a daughter with problems, we decide to call the hotel before arriving (my wife spike perfect Swedish) to be sure that the room was with easy access and perfectly settled for our needs. We got a confirmation for a triple room at the ground floor. We also advised the reception that we will arrive sometimes around 01:30 a.m.. At the arrival we did a very fast and clear check-in but, once we entered in the assigned room we only found 2 beds. The receptionist did the maximum to fix the problem and she added an opening bed (with a very tin and uncomfortable matrass) in which I had to sleep for the first night. We went to bed sometimes around 02:30 a.m.!!! ||The day after we got a proper room with 3 beds. We had some problems with the temperature but the third day the added one electric heating.||The breakfast was very good!||The personnel was very kind and helpful trying to solve every problem.||At the end of our stay, to excuse themselves for the problems we had the reimbursed one night so we payed 3 nights instead of 4!!

The atmosphere there is a very stylish and modern look with the feeling of being in an old pub or similar. I was there in educational purposes and we were in some different areas. Didn't see the actual rooms so can't give a review of those. But everything outside of the rooms were very nice so can't imagine that those were any exception. Overall a very nice place!

Disappointed. Not great value for money. The rooms feel dated. No air-conditioning (a fan was provided but didn’t do much). Beds in need of updating. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, but serving staff was either having a bad day or simply don’t enjoy their job, because they were very moody and not nice at all.
