Best Western Jangwani Sea Breeze Resort

In my 3-week stay at Jangwani Sea Breeze I had a most wonderful time; from the warm welcome at the reception, the spacious room and access to facilities within the resort and the food was great as well. It's a beautiful place to visit not just as a solo traveler, also as a group, family or for work. Located in Mbezi beach and they do throw amazing beach parties with good food and music over the weekends if that's your vibe too.

I have given this Hotel a 1 star as we had 2 nights here, it was not an enjoyable experience. We arrived late at night the First room we were allocated was very very dirty and smelling of Cigarettes, hand towel in the bathroom had been used previously. |We asked to change rooms, which they did immediately this room was clean and ok. |Restaurant is out the Hotel and over the road on the beach. Food wasn’t great, service was awful, not a good experience at all. |We had a 5am checkout in the morning, we had paid our Bill the evening before reception had arrange for us to have sandwiches and fruit to takeaway assured us it would be sitting on the counter at reception. The kitchen staff had to wake up!! Receptionist from the back room as it was not there. Eventually we received our tin foil packages and in it only sandwich each no fruit!!!!! We left and will never return to this hotel .

I had dinner two evenings, the food was delicious. I sat at the bar and ordered a fruit plate for dessert, and what did I see, the plate intended for me, the waiter simply eats the fruit from my plate before bringing it, I was shocked. Behaved like pigs. I should have made a scandal, but I was so disgusted that I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. I ate shrimp for dinner, I would like to know until all the shrimp came to me.??? I do not recommend this place.

I cannot express how deeply dissatisfied and appalled I am by my stay at this hotel. My belongings were stolen from the hotel during my visit, and the management’s response was absolutely shocking. Not only did they refuse to take responsibility or investigate, but they also offered no help, no apology, and no empathy whatsoever. It’s beyond unacceptable to have your personal items taken in a place that’s supposed to be secure, and even more infuriating when the hotel staff does NOTHING to address the situation. They were completely indifferent and gave me no support at all. I was left feeling unsafe, disrespected, and abandoned. If you value your belongings or your peace of mind, do NOT stay here. This hotel clearly doesn’t care about its guests or their security. The absolute lack of professionalism and care in handling such a serious issue is appalling. I will never be visiting here again and strongly advise others to stay far away.

The place was as advertised. Check-in/Check-out was fast and efficient. room was big spacious and very clean. breakfast was ok only downside was birds in the dining area. |Staff were really good and attentive. ||the beach area mhhhh was really not that good. at night the place was dark with little to no lighting. in the morning the area was littered with trash/ garbage. the pool was good and clean. all in all our stay and the hotel was good and will definitely come back|||Senga

I really wanted to like this resort The beachfront was clean and big The front desk personnel were just the nicest and most efficient staff. The same goes for the housekeepers Too bad I can't say the same for the dining room/restaurant staff. Twice I entered the restaurant both times I was ignored and finally someone came to greet me. At one of these times, I sat at a table, and finally, the bartender brought me a menu that was covered in food stains and crude it was disgusting. Because it was late (830ish), I went to my room and ordered room service. I didn't eat at the hotel again. I went down the street to the ramada to eat. I went to the bar area for a glass of wine. I sat down and waited and waited a gentleman sitting near me went and told the bartender I wanted service who then came and took my order. He came back and said they didn't have the wine I requested by the glass only by the bottle. So I said ok I will buy the bottle. He comes and shows me the bottle. I agree with it (I should have asked to see the menu). Well, the receipt came, and the bottle was 70000 tzs, which is about 25.00usd. In addition the duvet smelled terrible and was obviously dirty. The housekeeper changed it after she smelled it also. This place could be so much better. The unprofessional staff in the restaurant and the dirty linen was ridiculous and should not occur

Jangwani seabreeze hotel is nice, it is on both sides of the road, where one side is where the rooms are located (and an inhouse pool), and where the other side is the beach area, pools, good kids playground, gym, spa, restaurant, lounge/club, beach football/volleyball area. A nice place with a friendly and service minded staff. Maybe a little better breakfast and fresh ingredients in the restaurant. A friend got reheated chips, while I had fresh ones.
