Best Western Lock Haven

It was fine! The breakfast was what I expected. The room was good, and the beds were comfy. Nothing really stood out to me as above and beyond for our stay, but it was quiet and a safe haven away from the tent camping we initially set out to do.

The staff was very helpful and personable. Especially since I was a super late check in; the earliest would be 11;00pm and they made a not in the reservation and we showed up at 12:30am and they checked us in. The ac is a little older; but was adjustable. It was my son’s first time in a hotel room and he had a blast running the hall st 17 years old. It’s right off the main routes but not in the city, so not much noise. Probably will stay there again.

Limited room service for 175 a night. Breakfast is awful to days no meat. I had to ask for towels one night. Manager was supposed to check on a first responder rate, never got back. Just barely warm water, water 5 bucks a bottle in the vending machines. Think I’m done with best western. Come on man!

I accidentally left gold, 1/4 karat diamond stud earrings on the sink of my room. Instead of turning them in, like honest people do, the cleaning lady apparently felt she deserved them. The staff at the front desk wouldn't even confront the maid. Instead just said she would never do that. Who else had the opportunity to take them? What ever happened to honesty and integrity? I cant stand thieves! I will never support this business again.

Grant at front deck courteous & professional. Room spotless clean. Quiet. Bed comfy. Staff friendly. A/C unit digital and quiet.

Talk about a value! Although the hotel itself is a bit dated as it has been in Lock Haven a long time, the rooms and lobby are updated quite well. But what I couldn't get over was the value! A little over $100 the night I stayed definitely convinced me I made the right decision driving up a day early and being able to sleep in before my event. The hotel was very quiet. The only negative is that you'll have to drive or walk a bit for something to eat.

Exceptional customer service. Heather helped us out so much! Rooms were clean, the showers were hot. Great location. Definitely would stay there again!

We broke down along the interstate and this was the closest hotel. The staff was very helpful, they found us an Uber driver to come get us, and allowed us to have the car towed there.

This place was a godsend to us when our car broke down on I-80 over Thanksgiving weekend. The staff was very accommodating and we were able to deal with all the issues of getting off I-80, having a safe base at the hotel and all the required details to get back on the road in a rental car. I will never forget the generosity and above and beyond service given to us by the staff at this Best Western and would recommend it to anyone needing to stay in this area.

Great guy at the desk! I only stayed there one night. Room was nice and cool. Bed was soft. Not much water pressure in the shower but other than that it was super. I'd stay here again.

My fiancé and I stayed here this past weekend for a relative's wedding. The room was pretty nice and the king size bed was very comfortable. Staff was very nice and it felt good to have a real continental breakfast again. The room was clean and quiet but a bit outdated as the bathroom and sink are separate. My only real gripe is that the jets for the tub didn't work

Came to visit a friend in this area and this hotel was convenient. The staff here Dan, Heather and Angela were so extremely helpful so pleasant so accommodating it made you feel extremely welcome. The rooms were immaculate. The continental breakfast Consisted of bagels, toast, eggs ,fruit, Yogurt and of course coffee And tea. This is dog friendly hotel And I highly recommend if you're in the area this is the place to stay.

10 minutes off Route 80, easy to get to. Check in fast. Room was adequate, but the bathroom was extremely small. You can't open the door without hitting someone on the toilet. Shower was good. The toilet paper roll on the wall touches the back of the door...yuck! I heard ventilation sounds in the ceiling but felt no air going up. The breakfast room (free food) is very small and cramped. The food was typical ... not bad, but not great...lots of selections. It could use a microwave to heat up the almost-warm food. They served "turkey bacon", which is a contradiction in terms.

This is a must stay place if you are visiting Lock Haven, Pa. Great location. Right close to everything. Easy to find off of RT 150 & RT 220. Upon arrival for a late night check-in the staff was so helpful, accomodating, and pleasant. Our stay was wonderful! Room was clean, fresh, up to date, and the shower water pressure was AWESOME! The breakfast bar was great with lots of choices to eat. Can't says enough about the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. Make it a stay when in the area. P.s. Would have giving a 5 star but the hallway was hot and the vending machines could be updated.

Quick check in when we arrived here late after a Penn game. Beds were comfortable to sleep in but saggy to sit on. The bathroom is horrible. The toilet is right behind the door making it difficult to close the door , which u must if I want the toilet paper they hid behind the door ! Poor ventilation in there, but the shower was nice. The refrigerator was making a whining noise so we had to turn it off. The breakfast is just adequate as far as food goes with standard waffle maker, but only apples for fresh fruit. The area to get coffee and food is cramped and not at all her friendly and only 20 seats are available. There is a nice table in the room so perhaps bring your food back to the room.

The price was reasonable for such a nice hotel. The "gym" if really small and missing things though. But the staff here is very pleasant. There was no voice issues either.

Recently renovated clean rooms make this an ideal place to stay. On route 220, but convenient to 80 also. Friendly helpful staff offer good restaurant suggestions. Comfortable beds, plenty of fluffy towels and lots of pillows add to your comfort. The sink is separate from the shower area, so 2 people can get ready at once ( no steamed up mirrors). Breakfast a has multiple offerings, including make your own waffles. This is our 2 nd time here, we really enjoy the hotel.

Fair at best is how I would describe this hotel. If you are a non-smoker, beware of the "non-smoking rooms" on a "smoking floor" because the moment you get off of the elevator, you will regret it. The rooms are extremely small and outdated. The sink and the bathroom aren't even together. Fluorescent lights on motion sensors are not the best to get ready and the noise level is as though you have your door open. The staff, however, is friendly and the breakfast is amazing especially since they don't have a restaurant in this hotel. I would recommend finding another place to stay.

Terrific place. Friendly, attentive staff. Full breakfast. Super clean rooms. Comfortable and restful. After several misses driving around Lock Haven late last night, Best Western completely fit the bill.

Much nicer and cleaner than expected. And the staff was super friendly. My only gripe would be with breakfast. They really need to find a more efficient way to set up the stations. Having the make your own waffle area directly next to the coffee makes it hard. Especially when some guy decides he's making 10 waffles for him and his 2 friends and he's going to take up the whole section and refuse to move.

it was fine for one night in a town where this is the best option, but the atmosphere was kind of daft and the breakfast was absolutely disgusting. the front desk person was uninformed and obviously didn't know what she was talking about when we asked her questions.

I was driving home to New York City from Cleveland Ohio on Interstate 80. When I entered Clinton County, Pennsylvania, my car broke down. The Best Western Hotel was within walking distance of the repair shop. The Best Western friendly night Concierge sensed I was having a bad day and assured me everything was going to work out. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good. The courteous morning Concierge suggested things to do in town until my car was repaired. My stay at Best Western was very pleasant. I will make Best Western my number one home away from home.
