Best Western Nairobi, Upper Hill

This isn't a five star resort but it was more than adequate for my purposes. Quite a large room and a big shower with a clothesline. Pretty good wifi. Electric jug and coffee/tea. No fridge but creamer. The bed was comfortable. In-room electric safe.|There's no air-con, but a fan (which I never turned on) and open windows with insect screens. In September, I was never too hot and any noise through the open windows didn't bother me.|Shares a large pool, sundeck, pool bar and restaurant, and quite a well-equipped gym with the next door Fairview which you access through the grounds. I could charge drinks from the Fairview pool bar back to my Best Western room.|The area seems safe enough with visible good security. The Best Western staff organised a car for me to take me to Carnivore restaurant.|Good hot and cold breakfast with a cook-to-order egg bar.|The staff are excellent. So helpful and always friendly and smiling. The staff can make or break a place, and these are wonderful.

My experience at Best Western was classical and uniquely excellent. The warm welcome at the gate, great support at the reception desk, room service and above all, great ladies and gentlemen at the restaurant always made each day memorable. Let me single out john, scholar, Peter, Melvin and Lucy who on behalf of the hotel management delivered a special cake to mark my birthday on December 12. What a pleasant surprise that I cannot forget. They also sang a birthday song for me. I felt loved and at home, though away from home. Thank you Best Western; you are indeed the best 👌. The bed/linens/shower were fantastic! Our window faced construction so it was noisy starting at 730am... There was a small gym that was perfect after being on game drives and sitting for 3 weeks. The breakfast was amazing, only being topped by the service staff! The front reception and Sandra were so friendly and accommodating. The egg cook made us perfect poached eggs!! They were the best we have had during our entire visit to Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya. We are leaving well rested with full tummies. Thank you for a great rest.

Friendly staff, great outdoor area and pool access to the hotel close by. It’s great for birdwatching. They were also kind enough to provide breakfast to go because we were picked up very early. The beds were firm, which may not be suitable for everyone.

I had a wonderful 6 days stay at this hotel! The environment is excellent, and the price is very reasonable for what you get—especially for travelers with a comfortable budget. The security here makes you feel safe, which is very important in Nairobi. The rooms are a bit small, but everything is clean, cozy, and well-maintained, so it didn’t bother us at all. A special thanks to John at the front desk—he was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. His assistance made a huge difference for us. I truly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nairobi. Great value, great service, and an overall pleasant experience!

Nice hotelbin the middle of the city. Rooms a little bit small for 2 people but was OK. The staff was very nice, polite, helpful. Would highly recommend 👌

We stayed at Best Western Nairobi Upper Hill for 3 nights and the whole experience was an absolute 5 star. The rooms were so comfortable and with all necessary amenities. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a pool and a big garden where you can relax and have a drink/meal. The breakfast is buffet, high quality and plentiful. The highlight of the stay though was the amazing service from the helpful and super polite staff. Particularly John was always helpful and so attentive, he made our stay even more pleasant. I 100% recommend this hotel and will stay here again if I come back to Nairobi.

I have the best experience at Best Western in Nairobi. The staffs were very helpful to make my stay enjoyable. The restaurant was amazing with a lot good choices of food for breakfast.
