Northbridge Apartments

stayed here for a month, amazing location, close to parking areas, parks and entertainment, plus love the fact that there’s a yummy cafe below for breakfast and lunch, however: -only one key was provided when there’s two of us living there, so it wasn’t convenient and the fact that the door isn’t automatic made it worse, we would have to wait in the cold -the non automatic door + no reception have caused my uber eats food to be either stolen by the someone outside or the uber driver since they can’t put it inside -the house had a damp smell the whole month, barely any ventilation -the washing machine had so many errors; either the clothes get stuck or it just stops mid-wash -lift is sketchy, buttons were hard to press and it was out of order one day and the stairs were hard to find -the bin area is locked all the time so we couldn’t throw the trash at our convenient time, had to either wait for a worker or just leave the trash in the parking area -the lights are either dead or just really dark so it gives off horror -the toilet couldn’t flush the last week we were here, had to walk to either gym or public toilet -i could hear my friends in the other room, barely any privacy in the house, no locks on our bedroom and the toilet -hot water runs out after using it for a while so each of us had to wait a while after the other showers

Would never stay here again. Booked for 5 nights, got to hotel after hours, lift not working, had trouble finding the stairs. We weren't told of lift being out of order. Mrs has a heart condition and struggled with the 6 flights of stairs. No after hrs contact. Had 2 kids with us and couldn't find anywhere else to stay from the first night so had to stay here for the first night. Room stunk, dust everywhere, wee and pubes on toilet, mould and used soap in bathroom, air con full of thick black dust, wasnt cooling the room. Spoke to manager next morning who offered a different room but still had to take stairs so couldn't take the room. We only stayed one night as we had kids with us and couldn't find anywhere else for that night but left the next morning for different hotel for the rest of the stay. Manager gave us 50% refund even though we didn't stay there and the state of the room is disgusting. And with my Mrs medical condition she can't do the stairs and there was no communication about the lift being out of order. We have lost over $650 as manager won't refund the rest of the funds. Do not stay here. It's not worth the hassle. Adding to this after the managers response as I can't reply to his response. We did not come to an agreement. I told him calmly I wasn't happy with the outcome of 50% refund and what would the next step be to get our full refund. I even said I'd compromise and pay for the night we stayed but wanted to be refunded for the other 4 nights we didn't stay. Manager said go to consumer affairs but we wouldn't have a case. I have rang consumer affairs, we can have a case if we choose to do all the paperwork. I have contacted his head office of the best western and they have tried to speak to this manager about the remainder 4 nights refund. Manager is still not budging. Head office have even said to go through consumer affairs. I am warning others before they choose this place as i wish i knew what we were up for before booking here. I have been civil and polite in trying to come to an agreed amount but manager is not budging from 50% refund which is a $650 loss for me. Managers response is rude and unprofessional. People booking here and reading his response is helping the customers to not go here. I honestly can't believe it's still open with how dirty the place is.

Helpful, friendly staff. Fantastic location. Clean, tidy & fully equipped apartments. Very comfortable beds & loved having a bath. Awesome value for money. Will definitely stay here again!

Positives: The apartments are in a good location. The bed was comfortable. Would I stay there again? No. I did not like the following: 1. Room had a strong old cigarette smell 2. Carpets wore worn and walls heavily marked 3. Aircond was able to be turned on but no temperature control or fan speed control. 4. The outdoor unit for the aircond was other side of bedroom sliding door, the a/c was real load cutting in and out. 5. Could hear conversations in adjoining rooms. 6. Had a mouldy shower curtain. IMO the place needs to good refurbishment

Lovely helpful staff,especially the man didn't catch his name.The room was lovely and spacious.Tv was tempremental. Balcony area dusty and spider webs.Lift not working, nor the vending machine.The place needs some work so on that note it's overpriced. But would thoroughly recommend the rooms

We stayed over new years and was a perfect stay for family's as we had the pool directly in front of us. Not to much noise and we booked with Daniel and he was great so very friendly and professional. The only down side was the cleanliness, we walked into crumbs and even a nail clipping on the kitchen bench. The bathrooms are very old and stained with mould.

1 star is for the location and the friendly receptionist. The advertising of this place was very misleading. Photos must be from when it was new. Free car parking if you're able to get a spot and not really suitable for large 4WD. Enter the lift only if you dare! Our room was disgusting! Sticky carpets, used dental floss on the vanity, mould in the shower and leaking shower head. The smell throughout the apartment was revolting! We tried not to be in the apartment for long periods as it was hard to breathe. We clearly paid for the location and have learnt a valuable life lesson!

Stayed here during Australia Day long weekend with my family. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping area and convenience stores. If you're driving, they have free parking (but ask for ticket validation) and gas station is just across the street. Rooms were clean. Bathroom and towels were clean. Shower pressure was good with cold and hot water available. Beds were clean and comfy enough to sleep. They provided 2 types of pillows (hooray for choosy sleepers!). There's only 1 AC but it's cool enough for all rooms if you open all bedroom doors. Overall we had a great time staying here! Thanks Best Western!

Stayed here for two nights, when I arrived there was KFC from the last guests that was not cleaned it and if made the whole place stink, the wifi was slow, hot water in the shower was on and off and heated spa was cold. The location is good and other guests were quiet.
