Very pleased with our stay. ||Best Western is very close to the exit from I80, close to several gas stations and restaurants plus other amenities. Parking was plentiful, we were greeted and checked in efficiently by very helpful staff. Of note, I was traveling with someone with a minor mobility issue and the staff were able to fulfill a request made in advance for a first floor room||The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The bathroom was clean, well supplied, and had the deepest tub I've ever seen. (The citrus bath products were especially nice). Water pressure was excellent. ||We admired the indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness rooms, although we didn't have opportunity to use them. Likewise, the breakfast offerings were plentiful and carried, but we have a favorite local restaurant so only collected first cups of coffee and fruit to get us started. ||We look forward to returning and have already recommended this location to friends who travel in the area.

My husband and I stayed here one night on a return trip from vacation. The young lady at the front desk was cheerful and provided me with a gluten-free menu of a local pizza parlor. The room was absolutely spotless and comfortable - thank you to those who maintain the rooms! The breakfast was sufficient and normal for a hotel breakfast - no complaints. No noise, so we were able to sleep very well. We will stay here again if we are in the area. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

We stayed at this hotel due to its close proximity to Clearfield fairgrounds. It was a truly great experience. The hotel and room was super clean. Staff were friendly. The pool:hot tub hours were 6 am to 11 pm which was so helpful to be able to enjoy a swim. The breakfast was delicious and had lots of choices. The hotel was located near gas and food. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here last night. Rooms were very clean and had everything you need/want. Pool and gym were clean and in good order. Laundry room was nice as well. The provided breakfast was one of the best we’ve encountered at a hotel. Hot items (not just a pancake machine but there is one!), toast, bagels, donuts, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, juices, yogurts, just everything. All this said; it was the employees that sealed the deal. Every single employee encountered was pleasant , friendly , and accommodating. Especially the poor lady in the breakfast area around 9am on July 22. This super annoying guy kept asking her about honey and cheese over and over and over ad nauseam. She was WAY more patient than I would have been cause this dude was rude. Thanks for a great stay and we’ll be back!

Google
Excellent hotel. Clean and organized lobby area. Very tasty and delicious breakfast. The biscuits and gravy are great. Touch screen coffee machine always available. The coffee, latte and hot chocolate are mad good. The rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower is perfect. Great pool, jacuzzi and fitness center. The location is very convenient. The staff is great. I forgot my phone in my room and it was labeled and put aside for me thank goodness, ensuring it wouldn’t be stolen. They make your stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Google
Caring and Courteous staff. Clean quiet rooms . Belinda and her staff are amazing. This is the only hotel we stay at in Clearfield, PA. We are always greeted with a smile. Our room was very clean and perfect size especially if handicapped. The breakfast was very well stocked especially if you have food issues. And the room was clean and well maintained by the staff. Nice coffee/cappuccino maker and mini pancake maker. Oh and good chocolate chip muffins.

Google
I found this hotel by chance. I was planning a trip to New Jersey, but didn't want to make the trip all in one shot with my children, so I looked at the map, found a halfway point and took a chance. Now we book this hotel every single time we travel East. It's clean, the service is great and the free breakfast in the morning is unbeatable!!

We were made to feel welcome immediately by Balinda at the front desk. Our room was spacious and clean. We were grateful that the refrigerator had a small freezer unit. The bathroom had a tub with shower; it was extra nice to have hotel towels that were new enough to be "fuzzy." The pillows were just fine; the bed was a bit soft, but comfortable. We were going to eat fast food for supper, but Balinda recommended a nearby family restaurant where we had a fine supper at a very reasonable price. When stopping in Clearfield, we certainly will stay here again.

Yelp
So so thankful for Best Western !! Was able to make a last minute reservation when the motel I had was musty, an not good for an asthmatic !! Absolute amazing service & price !! Cannot thank Belinda enough for all her help !! Life Saver indeed !!

Yelp
This hotel calls itself PET friendly but only has 3 rooms out of 69 rooms. We booked a pet friendly room, king suite on Priceline and when we got to the hotel, they said there were no pet friendly king suites so they charged us 30.00 for our pet. We checked out on Saturday and Sunday evening the hotel charged my wife's credit card $100.00 more for a pet charge.

Yelp
Curt at Best Western , what's the best and most professional front desk person I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Pleased and happy with my experience . Give the man a raise he was the utmost professional face of best western that I've ever encountered. Thank you very much Matthew S. Clearfield pa.

Yelp
When you think Best Western, you think a GOOD place. Wanna know what this experience was like? TERRIBLE! Untidy rooms. Untidy lobby and breakfast area. Smelled weird, both the room and the whole place. The pool was DISTURBING AND DISTUSTING. The pool had so much hair in it, later on, I saw a DIAPER IN THE POOL. This is 100% the worst hotel in the Pennsylvania you could go to. When you wanna see elk near here, don't stay here. Keep driving. The staff was also very unfriendly and the man working smelled and looked AWFUL. Don't stay here. If you want to, be my guest. But this is a HORRIBLE place to stay. T

Yelp
We stayed here on our way to NYC from Indiana just as a place to sleep. The front desk clerk was kind and accommodating. We got a two queen room. The beds were comfortable. Since there were three of us (I traveled with my son and my mother) we tried the pull out bed just to see if it was a comfortable option and the springs poked out all over so no one would have wanted to sleep on that. Luckily we didn't mind two of us sharing one of the queen beds. We used the hot tub and pool area and it was clean and the hot tub was hot. Shower in the room had good pressure. We left too early to enjoy the free breakfast so I can't comment on that. We would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Great stay! Clean, quiet and lots of thoughtful little touches along with pool, hot tub, fitness center and a very decent (for a free) hotel breakfast. Comfortable mattresses, too.
google avatar

Valerie S.

Yelp
We had a great stay here last night on our way back home from a business trip. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the hot breakfast was really quite good. The pool and hot tub area looked really nice and inviting, but we opted to head across the street for some drinks before retiring for the night. We were in a nice quiet room on the 3rd floor and we had a great night's sleep. If we ever find ourselves in need of a room in the area again, we would definitely choose this Best Western.

Yelp
I was driving from NJ to OH and had to stop because of the immense fog. We stayed the night here & it was just great. Staff was so kind and accommodating, the space was CLEAN. Happy to see they had mattress protectors, was a perfect safe haven for the night. Would come again.

Shannon M.

Yelp
One of the best managed ones I have been at. Special Shoutout to the crew breakfast nook crew. Definitely recommend it if you're making a pit stop.

Neal R.

Yelp
Very quiet hotel. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. The breakfast was a bonus. The only problems we're the water in the shower backed up and the tv would freeze and i would have to unplug it to reset it so the remote would work. I would stay there again.
google avatar

Yelp
Staff is friendly, rooms are clean. Breakfast is stocked and kept clean. Overall a really good stay.

Yelp
My favorite motel (5th-6th stay.) Amy (reception) and Suzy (Head Housekeeper) went out of their ways to help me. Under normal circumstances, they have one of the best breakfast offerings. Handicapped Bathroom is stellar (wheel/walk-in shower even has a seat! and a perfect height sink. Plenty of electric plugs, including one on the the nightstand lamp, which was bright enough for reading. Easy handicap parking, too. Location to Hwy 80, the Elk herd areas, restaurants, stores, and scenic areas is really good. But, enough gushing! I really do like them. Lol

Yelp
This was by far one of the worst experiences at a hotel I've ever experienced. It started off with an extremely rude front desk clerk who thought it was a great idea to argue and talk down to my wife about our reservation. Even after she was proven wrong she belittled my wife multiple times. Had we not been on the road for 10 hours already with very tired daughters we would have tried to find somewhere else. You should not have this woman training your new staff. The new staff member, dark haired woman was very pleasant and sweet. The lady training her yelled and told her off in front of guests. Not professional and was not called for in the slightest bit. Our mattress was extremely hard, pillows were ridiculously flat, and no hot water in our room, tv was so staticky just ended up watching my phone. We stay all over the country and we ourselves are retreat/innkeepers. We get it that things happen but this woman was the most unprofessional woman I have ever encountered at a lodging facility. As it looks from the Not Recommended Reviews, there have been similar instances. Mostly on the night shift it seems.

Yelp
Rooms are kinda small but thats ok. However it was super hot, moist, and stuffy throughout the hotel.
google avatar

Sarah H.

Yelp
They had To go breakfast included. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had our 2 dogs with us and they put us on the first floor near the side entrance so we had easy access in and out of the hotel. The room was very clean. The shower was very clean and warm. Best hotel on my road trip. A cute mountain town. Anyone who doesn't like this hotel is clearly in the wrong and doesn't know great service.

Yelp
H and I have stayed here a few times on our trips back and forth from OH/New England. It's conveniently located off I-80 and actually down the hill from a Super Walmart (which I found to be wicked convenient), Mickey Ds and a number of local establishments. There's a decent amount of parking. We've been on here on a weekday and on a weekend and have never been hard pressed for parking. Actually on the contrary, each time we've come, we park as close as we can to the entrance. The ladies at the front desk are exceptionally kind and accommodating. I especially like the brunette with the pixie-cut. She remembered my H and I and our "situation" with an external third party site. During each stay, I booked a king room with a kitchenette. Having had a room on the first and third floors, I can say that I prefer the first floor rooms. The ceilings are higher and therefore just feel bigger and much more open. Nothing wrong with the other rooms, I just like the grandiose feeling of the initial room we had #109. BUT the kitchenette is small. Seriously. It's worth mentioning that the kitchenette's sink is smaller than the bathroom sink? I digress. On floor 3, we had room #313 and was horrified by a musty smell. My H swore it was probably because the room had been unoccupied for some time and that the AC probably had not been used. Well... we found some water damage that might have contributed to some of that smell. Alas, we could've switched rooms, but we were tired after driving 10+ hours with a six month old. Breakfast was subpar. It's certainly continental. There's a variety of cereals, coffee, dairy products, typical fruit, baked goods, pre-made omelettes/sausage gravy, sausages and a pancake machine and orange juice machine. I could have cared less for the omelette, sausage gravy and sausage... but the worst was the pancake machine. The product was so rubbery, I couldn't believe people were lining up to use the machine! I'll pass, thanks. I like cereal... and the fruit choices (red delicious, banana and orange) were just ok. They were probably bought at the Walmart up the hill. Haha. We haven't used the fitness or pool room, but it looks as if it would suffice for those staying overnight on a whim. If I had not been drained by my infant, I could have used a few miles run on a machine. Maybe next time? Also, there's a small pool and jacuzzi offered to guests. There's no lifeguard, so be warned! It was nice enough. I also really like that this is a pet-friendly hotel. The next time we come, we'll be sure to bring our pup. He'd be $20/night.

Rob C.

Yelp
The place is nice except it smells like pot/weed or what ever you want to call it. Talked to the very old-young lady at the desk. She even said she doubt she could smell it. Not a good nose. She said it smelled liked food. Another older couple was coming into the room next us and smelled it. It was bad. Not a good place for family's. Avoid.
google avatar

Amanda R.

Yelp
Worst experience I've ever had at a hotel!! Nathan at the front desk was absolutely rude and didn't help us at all. We have been driving from California for a week today with an infant and our service animal. We had booked the king suite over two weeks ago and Nathan told us we couldn't stay in the king room because no matter what kind of service animal was, people would still have allergies. He also said even though online it says pets are allowed, its their policy that no service animals can go in the king rooms and that I should have called and asked so he would downgrade our room and have us pay the same amount we would pay for the one reserved. I kept telling him that service animals were allowed everywhere and he started raising his voice saying he wasn't going to do anything because it's their policy and the manager would tell me the same thing. He proceeded to say he was going to cancel our reservation but as I was walking out, the manager walked in and she told him service animals were allowed in any room. The manager was a really nice lady that wanted to help us asking if we still wanted to stay there but at that point our reservation was canceled and I just wanted to get out of there after driving for so long I just wanted to find another place asap. Well It's obvious we will never go back there or any other best western...

Yelp
Hotel is clean and good WiFi throughout. There is a pool that's in good shape but too small to do laps. The hot tub is cool and both are open all day. The gym is basic (2 treadmills, 1 bike, very limited machine weights and no floor mats). My room was in decent condition and they have extra toiletries as required (I needed a razor). The complimentary breakfast was okay. I eat healthy and there isn't any vegetables but there was omlettes, pancakes, pastries. There were apples and bananas that were in okay condition but if you're picky on fresh fruit you might not like it. 24 hr coffee and there lemonade and stuff til 11pm. Staff were all friendly and nice and there's ample parking. Hotel is in a pocket of fast food restaurants and lots of other hotels. Great area to stop on a road trip as I'm doing. Doesn't seem to be much in the way of entertainment nearby but its near Allegheny state park (30mins or so) which is today's destination!
google avatar

Christina C.

Yelp
We stayed here while driving through (1 night). The room was clean, but it smelled kind of like syrup---best way to describe it, lol. The hot breakfast was pretty good, although they had limited tea selections (which most people probably wouldn't care a out). I don't drink coffee, but my friend said the coffee was good. There are several restaurants and shopping nearby, which is nice.

Yelp
This place is the absolute pits checked in last night for a two night stay got into the bathroom and take a shower looked down and there is body hair all over the counter and towels go to grab another towel notice and fecal matter and some more hair on another towel clearly towels have not been changed out. OK keep digging and finally find a good full-size towel, take shower get out of shower, and go to my bed. I lput my head down look over and there's a giant blood spot on my pillow. all right this is this is a little bit now. I got switched to another room. Second night the cables been on and off. I haven't been able to watch anything and no internet..

Tiffany R.

Yelp
Excellent breakfast! Such a selection and variety to choose from. Something for even the pickiest eaters. The entire facility was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The pool and hot tub could be a little warmer but it wasn't too cold to swim. We really enjoyed ourselves. We would definitely stay here again.
google avatar

George S.

Yelp
Excellent value! Furnishings and clean warm decor make this a very comfortable place comparable to the larger national chains. Off a major highway, so clientele tends to be road warriors and truckers. Good breakfast I thought, but could use more healthy options (more fruits?). Would definitely stay here again.
google avatar

Peter G.

Yelp
Never had much problem with the actual cleanliness and amenities of the hotel yet, the staff and managers are all very cranky, unwelcoming, and rude couldn't imagine having to work with them or for them

Michael F.

Yelp
Nice staff. Rooms are quiet. Indoor pool looks great. Gym is small, but enough variety of machines to get a good workout. Everything is clean, lobby, room, bathroom. Price is above decent....and a lot of people BTW, prefer a firm mattress (that's why they sell em'). Great hotel.
google avatar

Jared F.

Yelp
Stopped in for a one night stay while driving prior to Thanksgiving. We were greeted promptly at arrival and it was a smooth check-in process. Pleasantly upgraded to a king bedroom suite, the room was beautiful. Coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave and a nice bathroom. Comfortable bed and decent sized tv made for a good night of rest. Their deluxe free breakfast was great, cheese omelets, sausage, pancakes, yogurt, pastries and fruit plus coffee and juice. Plenty of parking on site, located just off the highway and surrounded by other hotels, restaurants and gas stations. Would definitely stop in again if I need to and am in the area.

Yelp
The story goes, we stayed here one night, a simple break from our drive to New York. No complaints with the service, the ladies at the desk were great. My problem with this place comes down to the shower. Being a man in a wheelchair, I need a accessible shower with a shower chair, which this place provided. The issue is that the shower chair is attached to the wall on the other side of the tub, farthest away from the shower head. It is nice that the shower head is removable, but there is no place to set it down when your putting shampoo or body way on, with out it swinging back to the other end of the tub where I can't reach; the handle is especially hard to reach when you first start the shower. Other than that, the room is great, the sink and coffee pot is all nice and low for individuals with wheelchairs and other disabilities. The gym is a little small, needs dumbbells, but no real complaint. Regardless of the shower, I still would recommend staying here, it still is more accessible than most hotels I've stayed at.

Gary R.

Yelp
The room was very nice and clean. The people very friendly. The only thing I wish they had was a plug in for the car.
google avatar

Rob M.

Yelp
We stayed on night on the way to new York. The place was immaculate, the room was comfortable and new and the beds were fantastic. I loved the shower head and bath mat. I wish I could get the model and manufacturer names for both! I want them in my home, too...
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
This was our 3rd hotel this trip and pretty decent. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and polite. The hot tub was NOT hot, which is always such a disappointment. Why even have one? Breakfast, as has been our experience with Best Westerns, was fantastic. Beds were comfy and asking for extra blankets was met with quick and willing response. Room was clean and well-equipped. Nice off-the-highway stop.

Billie H.

Yelp
One of the best places I have stayed clean and friendly. I would recommend I Any one to stay here just wonderful

H R.

Yelp
It's an interesting moment when you realize your hotel bed has not been turned down since the previous occupant. Even more interesting when you figure that out because the bed is full of salt. You flip back the covers after a long drive, you lay down for a little rest, and you stand up looking like a soft pretzel. It was if a group of friends gathered together with a bucket of McDonald's Happy Meal taters and had a fry fight. Ah, friendship. Such memories they must have made. So you brush all the salt off the bed, noticing the nightstand is coated with it too, as though Indiana Jones thought it was an invisible bridge and wanted an eye catching trail back from the Holy Grail. You're too tired now to bother calling the front desk, so you lay back in your now supposedly saltless bed. You then do your best not to imagine what other less obvious gifts were left behind by the last human body to lay on this rented mattress, and you fall uneasily to sleep. Only to wake up and discover you did not, in fact, manage to remove all of the salt and that in the night you have managed to miraculously lodge the grainy, gritty, very irritating substance into orifices that were meant by God to remain salt free. And then to discover that through an odd coincidence you may not wash away the sandy silt because the water main has broken. The water main is not, I must admit, the fault of the staff, but it did seem as if Ashton Kutcher should leap from the closest and announce the return of Punk'd, and surprise, surprise, I'm the test guest. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, Mr. Kutcher did not make an appearance and I was resigned to attending a funeral and lunch with a fine dusting of preservative coating my body. But, lesson learned. Bring bottled water, wet naps, and a vacuum when you travel. Wisdom is gained by experience, I guess.

Yelp
This is a five star Best Western. If you are traveling, this is a great place to stop. The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. In the morning there is a full continental breakfast with hot and cold options.

Diane W.

Yelp
What a nice surprise. Enroute across Route 80 we just couldn't go any further. Booked the room on Priceline at 10 PM and rolled into Clearfield around 1 AM. Hotel was easy on, easy off from 80. Clean, modern, very large room. Great bed and comfortable linens. Shower had excellent pressure with jet, pulsating and regular settings. Breakfast was above average with eggs and other high protein, lower carb options. A very good stop and would recommend to anyone crossing 80 that wants a quiet, comforts me well run hotel to spend the night.

Kayla F.

Yelp
We like staying at Best Western in Clearfield as the halfway point every year when we drive from CT to MI to visit my family for Christmas. I booked our room on the Priceline app so I can get the credit card points and then called after to make sure they had a pet room for us. They did not, but Ginger went above and beyond to accommodate us anyway and worked it out with the manager. Thank you to Ginger! This is a great option for a clean, affordable place to stay with pets on the road.

Yelp
The best Western plus is a very nice clean hotel. The girl at the front desk couldn't be more helpful. The hotel is very clean and well organized. What I love about it the most that they have pet friendly rooms. I travel with my dog so that's why I picked this hotel. Also the breakfast in the morning is very good everything was fresh and I love the pancake machine. So if you ever traveling down Route 80 in Pennsylvania and you need a very friendly clean hotel I would definitely recommend this one.

Yelp
Friendly staff amazing rooms very clean and a great breakfast!!! Price was less than expected and they allowed my dog.

Yelp
Lovely, new, clean hotel! Friendly staff, great pool area, and reasonable price. Definitely would stay again!

Yelp
Very nice hotel, great and clean room. Free High speed internet. You could use a microwave and fridge in the rooms which is kind of useful sometimes. Good channels also. Will stay here again.

Yelp
I'm only giving this hotel one star due to their cancellation policy. Me and my husband were on our way home from Cali and were trying to get a room for our last stretch home to NJ. I decided to book a room here but found something closer and we didn't want to drive late at night any longer than what we needed to. So we decide to cancel the room within the hour we booked and they did not give us a refund. According to their policy, they cannot cancel any reservations after 6pm which makes no sense because we booked the room at 9:30pm...why that rule or policy applied to us I still don't understand. The manager we spoke to I thought was rude and argumentative. I didn't appreciate her attitude about the whole situation and I felt she had no sympathy for our frustration. My suggestion is to book a room or reserve a room that they give you an option to pay at arrival.

Esti W.

Yelp
Stayed here twice this summer while traveling between Ohio and New York. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Appreciated having fridge and microwave in the room since we had food with us for our road trip. My daughter enjoyed the pool. The rooms are pretty basic, but good value for when you need a one-night stop on your drive. I've seen some other comments about their cancellation policy - I would recommend doing what we did - first we called in the morning to make sure they had rooms, and then when I was positive we were going to stay there for the night, called back to reserve with the credit card. That way I wasn't worried about changing my mind and not being able to cancel, since they do have 6:00 PM cutoff.

Michelle P.

Yelp
Travelers Beware We made a reservation early Tuesday morning with the Best Western Hotel for a king size bed, pull out couch, and pet friendly room. We were traveling to Michigan from Connecticut with a 15 month old baby, a 15 year old child, and an 8 year old dog. We were trying to take a break at the halfway point because traveling with a baby and a teenager has its own side effects. Just as we were heading out the door we received a phone call that our confirmed reservation was not available, and their establishment could only give us a non-pet friendly room with a king size bed, a desk, and chair. I mean I guess our son could sleep in a desk chair. He's a teenager and has probably slept in weirder places, but what about our dog??? The lobby? The hotel manager said we could cancel our reservation and call other nearby hotels. Sure as we're driving, we'll get right on that. I'm certain there will be plenty of pet friendly hotels available in the next 6 hours ready to take us in. Stunned we contacted their corporate office only to receive empty words of apology and a bonus $25.00 voucher. How generous of them!!! That definitely made everything better!!! As a family oriented business we were baffled as to how they could so easily screw us over!!! As a result of their blatant error, we now will have to have our 15 month old in the car a lot longer than necessary, and we'll have to drive into the early hours of the morning which is risky enough. In all seriousness, after talking with their corporate office they could care less about what they have put our family through, but I want future guests to be aware of Best Western's Reservation practices. I hope if you make a reservation, that they honor it, and you do not have to go through what we have gone through. Or better yet pick a different hotel all together to avoid this craziness!!!

Yelp
Poor customer service I try to check in with my kids because we have been driving for 5hrs just wanted to go into the room to change clothes and right back out the hotel clerk Robin have the nerve to say it will be extra 50$ mind you no room are clean at 9am but she want to charge me 50$ She then go calls the hotel manager for her to say room are all book because of school tournament going on... Mind you I book my room in advance never again I will book this hotel ... Never had such experience

Karen V.

Yelp
We stop here on our way from Ohio to NY. The front staff is wonderful, rooms are a pleasant surprise... clean, 4* rooms... I'm giving only 3 stars because I'm hungry leaving.... they ran out of eggs... seriously? We weren't late coming to breakfast and the choices were carbs and more carbs...no eggs... I can't eat carbs, and eggs are pretty much a basic expectation... compounded by the very rude staff response of "yep, ran out of eggs... wrestlers ate 'em all" ... seemingly annoyed by the mere fact that we inquired about the lack of eggs... we got the last room... they were full with wrestlers, families, and coaches... how would you not be prepared with enough eggs? Aside from the service recovery being non existent... where is the ownership of the staff/Manager? Go across the street and get some eggs... unfortunately that's what we had to do...

Jill L.

Yelp
I booked a room online through the Best Western website, and recieved a call 10 minutes later from the front desk. The lady at the front desk called to inform me that my reservation was cancelled and she had given our room to another person who had just walked into the lobby to book a room. Very disappointed since we were just down the street when she called. It was our first experience with Best Western, and I will never book with them again

John C.

Yelp
Clean. New. Great water pressure in shower and priced right. Friendly staff. This is a good stop . usual quick breakfast stuff that's ok. No complaints. Clearly hotel manager is managing.

Four stars for the room. Five stars for the price. The room was clean, large, and comfortable. It was nicely decorated with newer furniture and granite countertops in the bathroom. The room includes a roomy fridge (that allowed us to fully unload our cooler), small freezer, and microwave. Great water pressure in the shower with a nice shower head. The hotel also has laundry facilities. The breakfast wasn't great, but it was fine considering it was free. I did enjoy the biscuits with sausage gravy. The room was large enough to accommodate our family of 4 quite well: 2 queens with plenty of floor space for bags. The bathroom sink had lots of counter space, so sharing it worked well. The desk had a mirror above it, which worked well for a 2nd area to apply make-up. The hotel is right off of I-80, and I'd definitely stay there again when traveling across Pennsylvania. It had everything we needed for an overnight stay.

Yelp
My plan was to write a nice review of this hotel until I reviewed the e-mail copy of my hotel receipt. According to the receipt I was charged an additional $10 for a missing rubber bath mat. I thought they must have made a mistake, so I called the hotel explained that I did not take the mat and told them excellently where they could find the bath mat in question, rolled-up, unused next to the bathtub. They said they'd look into it and call me back. When they called they said that they had found the rubber bath mat but the cloth bath mate was what was really missing. They tried to say that each and every room is checked by three different people before every guest checks in. I explained that I had to use a bath towel for the floor, and why on earth would I steal a cloth bath mate!? They insisted that I MUST have taken the mat. I tried and tried to figure out where the mistake was, but in the end they outright called me a LIAR. I could not believe it! My job has me staying at hotels 40-50 times a year and I have never had this happen to me before, nor have I every been treated in such a terrible manner. I caution everybody to watch out for this roadside shame. I would recommend that on check out you have a cleaning person, or better yet the on-duty manager to do a walk thru of your room before checking out. I Still cannot believe the way I was treated!
