After touring Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia for three weeks, this hotel ranks among the best we experienced.||Very clean with easily accessed hot water in showers, comfortable beds, working toilets, and spacious rooms, it handles the basics well. It also has a good working elevator. ||The location is excellent--close to the main square and many attractions.||And the buffet is superb, except for the coffee.

Initially, I must acknowledge that the hotel’s location with easy access to various parts of the city—and the beautifully designed modern lobby are definite positives. However, my overall experience has been utterly disappointing. The housekeeping service is extremely poor; it seems the staff have not received proper training. Every time, the bath towel is forgotten and only a small towel is provided. Moreover, pillow covers and bed linens are not replaced even after several days. Another issue lies with the room’s complimentary items: dirty cups are left in the complement area, and the cups we used are never re-cleaned. The breakfast service is also problematic. The plates are stored in a low cabinet that forces guests to bend down to retrieve them—an awkward and poorly thought-out design that detracts from the breakfast experience. Additionally, the tea and coffee station is not properly replenished, and room cleaning is far from acceptable. What’s more, despite raising these issues with the reception on three separate occasions, we received a laughable response—apparently, they believed we had placed a “do not disturb” label on our door. The rooms are small, and contrary to expectations, the staff are neither friendly nor do they smile. The hotel’s entrance is also problematic: there are no automatic doors or doorman, so entering requires opening two old glass doors—a real hassle when you’re managing a stroller and a child. Furthermore, in the mild spring weather, the heating/cooling system works only for heating, and the breakfast is extremely subpar; even hot fried eggs are not served. The overall demeanor of the staff leaves much to be desired. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is astonishing that it holds such a high rating on Booking.com—the high score completely misled us. When we finally requested to speak with the manager, the reception staff obstructed the conversation with nonsensical responses. After six days of staying here, I am deeply disappointed with my choice.

Pros:|*Great location|*Pool - it was crowded and loud, not exactly a relating place (lots of smokers), but we were very grateful to have it since it was over 100F every day|*Breakfast buffet was delicious - probably the best we've ever had at a hotel|*Staff was very kind, friendly, and helpful (with one exception I'll explain below)|*Early morning breakfast option - if you have breakfast included, you can request an early premade food/coffee box, very basic but still appreciated when we had to be out the door before the buffet opened|*Gym with sauna - nothing special, but my husband took full advantage and this was one of the reasons we chose this hotel|*Free bottled water in the rooms - this seems so basic but many hotels have stopped doing this, and it was extremely hot in Armenia so we were very appreciative||Cons:|*Loud - walls weren't thin but doors were, which meant we got constant hallway noise at all hours of the night and had to wear earplugs to sleep|*Inconsistent quality - this is a 4 star hotel, and the breakfast and some amenities certainly felt that way, but the room and bathroom were very basic and didn't match the expectation, as well as the noise and the fact that some basic things were forgotten during housekeeping (our towels were taken for cleaning, but none were left to replace them until we informed the front desk)|*Uncomfortable pillows - bed was okay, but pillows were lumpy and inconsistent, very uncomfortable|*Expensive food - other than breakfast, the hotel food was outrageously priced and not very high quality|*Limited air conditioning in room - you can set the air conditioner as low as you want, but it will never go below 20C, they've clearly locked it|*Check in error - I emailed ahead to ask if we'd be able to check in early since we'd be arriving at 6am off a redeye, and was promised our room would be ready when we arrived. When we got in, the front desk agent told us there was someone in our room, and this was an error from the staff who emailed us (I showed him the email). This would have been find had he then resolved the situation - instead he said there was nothing he could do, but he'd talk to her tomorrow about the mistake. I had to fight to get him to even look into a solution, which then took him an hour. Eventually we were given another room to rest in until ours was ready (our original very reasonable request - we just needed a bed for a few hours), but we shouldn't have been put in that position in the first place. Errors happen, but the hotel staff should have been the one to resolve the situation, not the guest. ||Overall we enjoyed our experience and got what we needed, but would probably try another hotel next time we're in Yerevan.

I would like to share my experience regarding the low quality of housekeeping services at this hotel. The towels are too small and not suitable for larger men. On one occasion, even the supposedly clean towels smelled unpleasantly of food grease. Additionally, the detergent, soap, and shampoo provided are of poor quality. The breakfast selection is very limited, and they don’t even serve hot fried eggs or omelets. Overall, the behavior of the hotel staff was not friendly, and the air conditioning system only functions for heating, which is unsuitable when the weather is moderate. In summary, I am not satisfied with the quality of services at this hotel.

Booked the Executive Room for 3 days and 2 nights last April 1 to 3, we had a blast staying here in BW Plus Congress Hotel, staff are friendly and helpful. A big thanks to Srhubi, Tsovinar and Edward from Front desk for making my daughter's birthday extra special it really means a lot to her, she had a good memories in Yerevan because of you guys. Kristina from housekeeping was very nice too when making our room. Thanks to Arman and Toro who helped us during our check-out. Our family enjoyed our stay and definitely will recommend it to our family and friends.

SCAMMERS!!!!! They know tourists who pay online and go to their hotel can’t visit or search for other hotels right away, thus they make you pay extra before giving you the room. They forcefully made me pay twice the price of my room. • Andrea Ferrari – General Manager • Gayane Kocharyan – Director Worst managers ever at this hotel!!! Never go to this hotel if you don’t want to lose money

One of the best hotels to consider when visiting Yerevan. The hotel staff are friendly, polite, and supportive. ☀️♥️ It's just a 2-3 minute walk to Republic Square!
