Best Western Plus Deer Park Hotel and Suites

We loved that the hotel was set back from the highway, slightly off-the-beaten-trail. We were upgraded from two queens to a roomy king with kitchenette which included a full-sized refrigerator - perfect for that block of ice in our cooler! Although our room was on the 2nd floor, we were pleasantly surprised that there was an elevator giving us easy access to our car. At check-in the desk clerk was patient and helpful and remembered this unremarkable senior in the morning. The hotel was clean and well-tended, and the only hiccup was that they seemed short-staffed. I had to ask that the scrambled eggs be replenished, and they took care of it immediately. Breakfast was otherwise delicious and generous. We would definitely stay here again.

One of the best chain hotels I've ever stayed at. Many little hospitable touches show their focus on making you feel comfortable and welcome, not extracting every possible nickel. Very impressed.

It felt like a loved local hotel even though has a chain name. Slightly older than some but well cared for. Friendly nice staff that organized a breakfast for our birding group at around 4.15 am which was so nice of them. There was a coffee maker in the room and at breakfast had milk options - full, 2% and oat milk. The front desk were friendly and appreciative of our stay

Our company has been staying here for the past month off and on. The staff are super friendly but the rooms for the price suck. My first night I remember itching thought it was detergent they used. I wasn’t the only person from our company to think the beds were dirty and the room. Last night I checked in and dirty q-tips was in the trash and a used bar of soap on the sink. I just said I’m tired I’m going to bed🙄 peeled the sheets back and 💥 found pistachio shells… looked around the bed and seen a bunch more on the floor. That’s nasty at least change the sheets. Yes they gave me another room but that’s my last time there. The breakfast sucks but super friendly staff and dirty rooms. 150-$200 a night it should be a lot Better. Hampton is across the street that’s where I’ll be staying at for now on…

This BW plus in Craig, Colorado is the best budget friendly hotel we've ever visited. Everything - the room, the bathroom, the linens, the spa, the swimming pool, the breakfast room - was squeeky clean and polished. The owners/managers can be very proud of their establishment. We had a great time staying there and shall return.

We were pleasantly surprised by their breakfast buffet. Rooms were clean and nice. Pool was open and the kids had fun. Price was the cheapest we have found on our roadtrip.

Just returned from a 3-night stay at Best Western Plus Deer Park Hotel and Suites while visiting family in the area. For a 3-star hotel, this place definitely exceeded my expectations!||||Check-in was straightforward and efficient. The front desk clerk (I think his name was Vickie) was friendly and helpful, providing a map of the area and pointing out a few local restaurants. The lobby is Big and clean, with free coffee available 24/7 - a nice touch I appreciated each morning. ||||The top-notch I have to talk about is the Breakfast. I loved English muffins and egg/Sausage Patties with hot Milk chocolate.

Had plenty of amenities for being one of four choices in the town. Was not happy that I did not end up with the king suite like I thought I had rebooked.. but hotel was great. The people at the customer service were great really enjoyed my stay.

The website specifically says "We also serve eggs cooked to order & omelets, breakfast casseroles, ...". There were no eggs cooked to order, nor any omelets or breakfast casseroles. There was a small buffet that contained scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sausage links, as well as some pastries, cereal, and a few other items. This was extremely disappointing. Since my husband is a big breakfast person, we probably would have chosen another hotel, had I known this. We had a kitchenette room and did chuckle at the included pots & pans, since there was no cooktop/stove for using them. The only appliance for cooking meals was a microwave. The kitchenette room did include a full size refrigerator. The room itself was mostly really good, including a very comfortable bed, a decent desk area, and a good sitting area. However, the sink for the bathroom was located outside the bathroom area, between the kitchenette and the closet, which made things a bit awkward when someone was attempting to get ready at the sink (with minimal clothing on) and someone else needed to go in/out the main room door. The bathroom itself was stifling hot due to lack of airflow. We ended up propping the door open (it would not stay open on its own) so that some of the room air conditioning would flow in there.

This property is nicely maintained. Front desk nice. Housekeeping team is on point. Pool and jacuzzi super clean. Bed was comfy. The breakfast was great. Eggs, bacon, roasted potatoes, waffles, fruit, cereal. They even did little extras in the room. I can see why this property gas the best reviews in this little town of Craig.

I've been here for 4 months for business normally my job books me at Hilton this is my first time at a Best Western. I got to tell you this Best Western is the best, this hotel is full of amazing employees who actually love what they do and it shows. The employees here treat me better than the Hilton the employees interact with you as if your family if you have an issue they take care of it right away or at least try their best this is truly home away from home I highly recommend this place this full of love and it blows away the customer service of a Hilton

Room was clean and comfortable. HOWEVER, no carafe for the in room coffee maker, no hair dryer, fridge was turned off upon arrival, ice on the sidewalk on the West side of bldg, I shoveled it off myself. I know workers are in short supply, but this is simple stuff to remedy or to not allow to happen in the first place. Breakfast was only ok.

Tv doesn't work right, no idea what is on. Great view of a body shop Only ice machine is behind the counter at the front desk Half the laundry machines are out of order Parking is crap Cars are being broken into, according to the sign at the desk. Of course they won't be responsible 1 elevator on one side of the building. Not my side of course. Asked about the tv. I was told it wasn't their fault. I guess I have to call the satellite company for them. All this for just $159. Per night!! Yay.

If I'm being honest, I don't remember too much of this location as it was the first of many BW stays on our recent road trip. However, nothing went wrong so I'll say it was a great stay. Breakfast was good, and I loved the deer and other animal statues scattered about the property. Always friendly staff at BW, they always make you feel welcomed. One odd thing I do recall, there were two desk chairs in the room, so the table was situated in a way that made it stick out further than most locations, and I ended up bumping into it during the night.

This is the nicest Best Western I've ever stayed in. It was very clean and well-maintained. The lobby was very clean and pleasantly styled in an upscale, rustic feel similar to something you'd find in Jackson, WY. The staff was excellent at check in, and when I needed help connecting to the free Wi-Fi. The free breakfast was good, though a low-key, self-service situation. The breakfast attendant was very pleasant and helpful. The best part of the room was the 2-headed shower. Best solution I've ever seen to the dreaded state law requiring low-flow showerheads. It was the best shower I have had in a hotel in years. My only complaint was the size of the room. We had a room with 2 queen beds and it was a tight fit for 3 people. The bed was great, and had comfortable bedding. I would definitely stay here again, and I recommend you do, too. (We had a rate of $85 found on Trip Advisor.)

Nice clean hotel. A little dated, but clean. Heard everyone above and each side. Breakfast was very sparce. Coffee was great!.

Amazing attention to detail. Never stayed in a hotel of this classification that comes near the level of maintenance as this one. Many times I encounter shower head that dribble water in odd patterns, here they have two shower head that work perfectly. Also, no see thru bacon for breakfast, great bacon and eggs. Excellent stay, highly recommend

I've had the pleasure of traveling globally staying at five star resorts. This property is right on par with attention to detail and quality for the room rate. The first thing I saw coming into the room was a well placed flower. Ive never had that in a room of this rate. The accommodations feel warm and welcoming. For example, the closet space has a pullback drape and valance of very good material. The linens are higher end. There's a microwave and decent size refrigerator - not tiny dorm size. The bath products are higher end too. The property could not be cleaner. They even clean the TV remote placing it in its own linen like bag - awesome touch and thoughtful care of their guests. There are small touches like this in the room making for a very comfortable stay. There's even a maintenance sheet you can check to leave behind if something is out of order. Their breakfast fare is very nice too - thoughtful preparation for variety of dietary needs. Tip of the hat to the owners and their staff - very nicely done!

Great place to stay. Especially when exploring the Rocky Mountain National Park. Would definitely come back!

Stayed here recently for overnight trip for work and was very impressed with how clean the room and building was. The staff are very friendly, the room was spotless, great TV selection, wifi. Restaurant was nice but a Tad overpriced. The bar was great but also overpriced. The indoor pool and hot tub were quite nice The great staff and speedy check in and out was top notch. I enjoyed my stay!
