Best Western Plus Hotel Bern

Perfect location in old town close to main station. Room is mid size, but cozy and stylish. TV, coffee machine and nice bathroom. Cleaning was done every day. Breakfast could have more variety of food. For 3 days it was all the same. However, they serve salmon. I have stayed in 3 different places in same area or close to that and this is so far the best.

The hotel was absolutely everything you would want from an inner-city hotel: Clean and very well positioned - a ten minute walk from the main train station and right at the start of the Old Town.||The room was well-sized and the en suite was fantastic. ||The breakfast was OK; I think on both days we were later in the breakfast sitting and the selection had deceased. ||The only semi-major issue was that the air-con didn’t work.

Ohh la la. What a breath of fresh air after staying in Switzerland for 15 days [ and 6 other hotels] this was the cherry on the cake as our last stop.|This hotel is 4 stars, from the staff, the restaurant, the bar on the top floor, the size and cleanliness of the room, to its location.|Stay here! (for as many nights as you can) |You will Not Be Disappointed.

Fantastic location near everything in the heart of downtown. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I wasn't impressed with the downstairs restaurant. The service was slow. However, the rooftop bar was incredible; great food, great cocktails, good beer selection, food was good and the bartender was friendly and quick.

This hotel is in a lovely location near old town Bern. SO many wonderful stores and restaurants nearby and a full service grocery store. We reserved a deluxe room which was spacious and comfortable. Standard rooms can be quite small. The staff were kind and helpful. The rooftop lounge and patio were first class. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant but will definitely do so on our next stay. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The Bern hotel is located at a perfect spot. Personnel are friendly and helpful! Good breakfast! Rooms are small, but that was expected. There is a fridge in the room so that is a plus to many other hotels.

The location is great since it is right in the heart of Bern and around many good restaurants. Unfortunately even after this place has been renovated, we encountered many problem even when having the deluxe room. Lots of noise all throughout the night from some machines inside the hotel. The maids speak incredibly loud in the morning right outside the doors. The stomping from other rooms can be heard. The worst was the wc door, which has a glass and contributes to loosing all privacy during using the wc. The beds were uncomfortable. Overall first impression is way better than what it actually is. After mentioning this to the receptionist, there was not much interest in letting us walk out of there feeling better other than thank you for your feedback. Not sure if they took it seriously. The restaurant looks quite good

Fantastic hotel overall. They're missing a couple of basic amenities I'd expect, like a clothes iron, but the overall experience was great and relatively reasonably priced.
