Best Western Plus Hotel Bern

Stayed here for a conference at the Kursaal. Lovely walk from the station, which takes no more than 10 minutes and involves some tempting window-shopping! Location is truly amazing, right by the Zytglogge, with a great range of restaurants, bars and shops on the doorstep. I didn't eat at the hotel, but it looked nice. I had a suite on the 6th floor, and had great views. The quality of the room was top, with a decent coffee machine, wet room and 2 TVs! Unfortunately I have to take a star off for service, as a staff member entered my room without waiting for me to answer a knock at the door. Reception also didn't ask how my stay was at the end or wish me a good day, so there could be a little training to do there. Overall though, a fantastic stay in a very pretty place.

A+ in everything, good service, the room was great. And the location better yet. The bed and pillows were lovely, amenities from rituals, good views. 100% recommended

Positives - clean, comforatable, good location, relatively reasonable price, gym access, bottles of water in room, quiet at night, room has everything you need, wifi ok. Negatives - thin walls, can easily hear other people getting ready and moving about in the morning. Breakfast not value for money, thin pillows, can be a fight to get to lift when non guests coming in to access 8th floor bar area

Clean, comfortable and good location. Rooms are fairly spacious too. Bathroom area is half open with the sink in the open. Had some trouble with getting the air conditioning to work but it was fine. Reception staff were professional but not exactly welcoming or warm. Meanwhile the service in the restaurant was fantastic.

We only had a 1 night stay here, but wish we had spent more time in Bern. We reserved 2 rooms & they were both great. The double room was large and had several windows and a desk. Loved the hardwood floors & ceiling details. Our two sons shared a room with 2 twin beds, and it was nice as well. Our rooms were close together, as requested, and hotel staff were professional, courteous, and kind throughout our stay. The location was very central. If I have friends traveling to Bern in the future, I’ll definitely recommend this hotel.

In most of Europe, the air conditioning isn’t that cold. Well, not in this hotel. It was the only hotel in our trip were we slept comfortable and cool. It was a modern updated and very clean room. Close to train station. Its hard to convey how happy we were staying here!! If I could have given it six stars 🌟 I could have!

This is the place to stay in Bern. Perfect location, 3 minutes from the famous Clock Tower and Kramgasse shopping street. Very near the Bundeshaus (parliament) and market. Plenty of restaurants and the very close and super COOP and Migros hypermarkets and restaurants. Modern interior with Nespresso coffee maker, safe, and fridge. Bathroom is separated by a door in our room, but a sliding partition in others, and, finally, an open sink in others. Our room faced the front, a quiet street, so was very quiet.

We stayed two nights in a pleasant modern superior room. Despite the location in the old town, it was quite quiet at night. Location is perfect to walk and explore this historical Swiss town. |We arrived to the hotel by car with navigation. After check in and luggage drop off, I followed easy directions to nearby city parking garage. |Front desk was helpful regarding what to see in Bern. Breakfast was satisfactory. Many restaurants and shopping close by.

Great hotel that is very stylish and the staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. Our room was very modern with a large white cabinet filled with a fridge and coffee maker. The black bathroom was also cool but small. Next to the hotel is a convenient Coop market. This hotel is located in the heart of Bern.

This hotel felt super fancy! Maybe that's just because I usually stay in not so fancy places? The bed was really comfortable and the room felt modern. The bathroom was really nice, the only real downside being that it had some blurry glass as part of the design and I was staying with a friend so that's a little awkward. The room had a nespresso, which was great. The location was also fantastic, right in the middle of everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Morning staff was pleasant. The evening gentleman was not. Air conditioning was turned off September 30 because "it's Autumn," even though it was 76F/24C. We were told there was nothing they could do about our miserably hot room other than open a window. We did that, but it did not help with anything other than making the drunk partiers outside even more obnoxiously loud. They also charged us for more laundry service than we actually sent down. I would never stay here again, nor recommend anyone else do so. It's far too expensive for such a poor experience. The neighborhood is conveniently located, but the hotel is a real disappointment.

This is a fantastic hotel. Very clean and stylish, and it's centrally located as well. It's a short walk to all the shopping arcades as well as the bear pit. The room is modern (see posted pics). I also enjoyed the food in the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel.

Really cool hotel. Much better than center hotels for the same price.
