Best Western Plus Hotel Plaza

When we arrived we were greeted by a very nice reception lady, who explained everything about the hotel with much patience, the rooms are spacey and clean. The only downside of the room was the balcony which was like 50cm wide (its pretty long tho). There also were some ants in the room. (My mom who stayed in the room mext to us said she didnt see any.) Which for me wasn't a big deal but i understand if it is for others. All the staff was really nice. The breakfast and diner had different food everynight (For the 7 days we stayed). With lots of variety each day. Also the pool is reaaly nice with enough sunbeds and a really affordable poolbar. Would definitely recommend to others if you keep the minor downsides in mind. (The slim balcony and the ants in the room)

As a family we have been coming to the plaza |For over16 years and we know all the People |Working there really well they are all hard Working and friendly . |But we have noticed that the choices of food has dropped in their usually high standards. There is not so much choice at breakfast any more with fruit and cheeses being poor .If you are half board the lunch menu have become boring and similar , lots of rice dishes it was much better when you could choose from the menus. So 5stars for the staff and two stars for the food I’m afraid!!

Recently stayed in this hotel with my partner and did the bed and breakfast package. Food was great and staff were lovely. Cost of cocktails in the hotel were also very cheap and the rooms were clean! We actually got engaged during our stay, which made the experience even more special.

It was quite alright, but the constant exposure to cigarette smoke was a deal breaker for me. I’m very sensitive to smoke and people at the hotel smoke around the pool, outside the lobby and even inside the hotel and rooms. We couldn’t use the AC because it pumped cigarette smoke into our room (another guest was probably smoking in their room and it spread through the ventilation). I would have hoped that I could at least escape it at the hotel, but no. I’m not coming back to this hotel or Rhodes, this place is not for me.

The Best Western Plaza Hotel offers the perfect balance between comfort, atmosphere, and location. Just a short walk from both the historic Old Town and the lively harbour, it’s ideally placed for curious travellers and seasoned flâneurs alike. Mornings begin with a delightful breakfast buffet—fresh, varied, and served with genuine Greek warmth. Staff are right there to make your life easier and offer helpful advice. Evenings, however, are when the hotel truly comes to life. The covered terrace bar is a charming space, with a lovely ambiance, soft lighting, and (for those musically inclined) a piano that gently invites improvisation. As a humble amateur pianist, I couldn’t resist… and was delighted to receive an unexpected round of applause! This bar area is a definite highlight: open air, spacious, with two huge TV screens where guests can follow major events in comfort. I had the joy of watching Carlos Alcaraz claim his second Roland Garros title from there—an unforgettable moment in an unforgettable place. Highly recommended, from now on in my latest list of favourite places!

Unfortunately, they are selling rooms that would be scandalous to sell, disregarding their brand values. Even the central location does not save the situation. Breakfast is terrible. It does not deserve four stars. It is in your best interest to stay away.

Had a wonderful week here the staff very friendly hotel very clean and the food was always good standard will definitely come back. Rooms cleaned every day breakfast was buffet and lots of choice hotel and cold plenty of variety for everyone.

We stayed at another hotel in the Old Town, but we dined at this restaurant for our entire week-long vacation—breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I want to congratulate the chef and Agapitos; the service and the food were AMAZING. Agapitos made us feel at home and kept us coming back every day. We’ll miss this magical city and its atmosphere. The people were very kind, and the hotel was exceptionally clean.
