Best Western Plus Hovell Tree Inn Albury

Cleaners are obviously on holiday from this facility? Room is a bit dated but bathrooms look like they have been refreshed more recently. Good water pressure in the shower but the drains don’t take the volume of water, so therefore floods the whole bathroom floor. Bed was comfortable, aircon worked well, TV no worries. Coffee maker has never been cleaned, gross. Doors on the lift were very slow to open. To summarise, the amount of dust and dirt and spider web was quite gross. They haven’t moved any furniture to vacuum around or under any of it in quite some time. This place could rate a lot better if it was just cleaned properly!!

We had a 2 bedroom apartment ( 1 king, 1 queen bed) with 2 bathrooms which was ideal for us for an overnight stay. The kitchenette was small with very limited utensils but was adequate for our needs. Beds were very comfortable and rooms spacious. We particularly liked the stand alone walk in showers. Women at reception on check in and check out were very helpful and friendly. There was a lot of undercover parking and a small lift to the 2nd floor|We ate dinner at the restaurant which had a good selection. We did have a problem with my main meal that had a sauce on it I could not have that was not listed in the dish description. They were very apologetic and my meal was redone and dessert was no charge. I appreciated them resolving it with a satisfactory solution.

Great location & very friendly reception staff. Located opposite the river so handy for walks, 3 playgrounds and a short walk to Coles and cafes. The hotel is quite tired in condition but our two bedroom apartment was very clean and quiet with good air conditioning and a very comfortable bed giving us a great night’s sleep. Kitchenette was useful and stocked with what you’d need for a short stay. We stayed with our toddler and did find it annoying that there was no chain on the exterior room door and that there was no bath and/or hand held hose in the shower. Would stay again though.

I’ve stayed here 3 times now. It’s ok but depends on which room or which building you are in. The first time I was in the first floor and the rooms were good, the second time I was in the other building. The room was next to the stairs and you could hear people going up and down it kept me awake. You have to fill in the same form each time you stay even if it’s the week after and the reception staff remember you.

My friend and I had a short trip and stayed here for one night! The staff are incredible, super friendly and go above and beyond. The amenities were superb and had everything we need, it was clean, quiet and in a great location. I ended up booking another night for us and we got upgraded! I could not recommend this place enough. The pool was also another saving grace 🥳

Underwhelming when compared to Best Western Goulburn which was the same price, but super clean, and with more facilities. Room smelt bad, fridge stunk, there was hair on the bathroom wall, and hair on the bed.Used razor left in the bathroom, and there was trash in the bathroom bin as well. There was no mini bar and no snacks. The shower gel dispenser was empty, and the toilet paper roll was almost empty in the dispenser. We work in hospitality, and we were very disappointed and very underwhelmed.

as always, the rooms are great the staff are brilliant, terrific bar, although the prices good be a little cheaper. the meals are very good; however, I'm not fan of their tv entertainment streaming via Netflix. very poor idea I don't have information or want to login to this login to that don't forget to logout oh please who has the time to go through this rubbish. I'd NOW go to the local club to watch sport and buy my drinks not at the Hotel, I know they won't change it back ignorance is bliss is it!!!!!

Friendly staff, nice location with nice walks along the river, conformable rooms ideal for short to medium stays. 3 minute drive to the cbd but not a great deal of cafes /shops nearby. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, this is it.

Love this place. Whenever I'm in Albury (once a month for work), I always stay & eat here. Modern rooms, free wifi, great menu, great service are just many of the features. I've stayed and attend at various motels and restaurants in Albury and would have to say this wins on both accounts, hands down. Ohh, and the rates are very affordable. Highly recommend

Just ate here in the restaurant . I must say I was impressed with the menu choice. I went for the calamari lime starter then the ribs. I was not disappointed. However friends ordered the salmon starter and it was tiny. But really I can't fault what I had. The rooms are spacious and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is terrific!! We were very impressed on our arrival to find the room and facilities exactly as advertised online. Our room is lovely and spacious. Staff are very friendly and really know what they're doing. We asked if they had baby cots available and found one set up in our room when we walked in. Thank you so much. I'd recommend it to anyone coming to Albury!

Always a good place to stay. Staff super friendly, rooms very clean and comfortable and restaurant caters for a range of tastes. Well located and walking distance to town as well as a park opposite for longer walks. Highly recommend this as a place to stay, have a drink at the bar or meet up for dinner.
