Best Western Plus Hovell Tree Inn Albury

Room, staff and location are all 5 star. We stayed 7 nights in a queen apartment room. Staff at check-in and out had warm friendly smiles, were helpful and professional nothing was to much trouble. Room extremely spacious, clean and bed was comfortable. Fantastic location as it is an easy walk to Dean street and all that it has to offer. Didn't get to use but the pool, spa and sauna look well maintained and very inviting. Highly recommend staying if your in the area or want a base to go exploring Albury Wodonga.

Everything is nice except some little dirts on the tea spoon we found. The room is large and cozy. Parking is easy and free.Albury is a nice town too.

Whilst the room was large enough , comfort level was average . A couch/single bed was the main offering. They never have back support so the only option to watch the cricket was a desk type chair. Bed was too soft for my liking but may suit some.The bathroom was open plan and large as was the tv .It was a very hot day and the aircon unit coped, but just.|The restaurant/bar was closed which was surprising as the place was heavily booked so the only option for a drink was to bring your own. The staff refused point blank to lend me a bottle opener, even though there were wine glasses in the room. I had to be a good boy and promise to return it by 5pm before i was loaned one .

We stayed overnight at Best Western Plus Hovell Tree Inn, Albury with our family while travelling to Melbourne, and the experience was absolutely awesome. The room was spotlessly clean, tidy, and very comfortable, making it a perfect place to rest after a long drive. A special mention to the reception staff, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and courteous — their hospitality really stood out and made us feel at ease from the moment we arrived. The overall experience was so pleasant that it convinced us to book our return stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle-free stay in Albury. Will definitely be back! 😊

We checked in here after leaving another Motel in the area that was really grubby and run down. Pleasantly surprised that our spacious 1 bedroom room (which was about 3 times the size of the place we just left) was $70 a night cheaper than where we had been. The room was very clean and has everything you need for an extended stay. We only stayed 1 night but could have happily extended if we had the time. My bed was comfy, the kids had a nice sleep in as the room was really quiet and we felt refreshed for our drive home. Staff were lovely. Restaurant meal was lovely, kids had kids meals and I had the steak.

Overall, the Hovell Tree Inn was a comfortable place to stay and we appreciated the welcoming and helpful staff. Our room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, which made for a pleasant stay. As constructive feedback, some of the outdoor areas appear to be in need of attention. The pond was empty and showing signs of disrepair, there were cracks visible in sections of the fence brickwork, and the gardens looked somewhat neglected, with some rubbish present throughout the grounds. These elements stood out, particularly when compared with the images shown on the website, which appear to reflect the property in a more pristine and maintained condition. One other point to note was the additional breakfast charge offered of $100 per day, which was a little disappointing, especially as a note on the restaurant door advising that it was closed over the Christmas period.

4 star rated but 5 star staff, room, service and location. Front end staff went over and beyond to accommodate another night in the same room and to ensure our safe journey through fire zone areas, even calling park rangers. The apartment room was huge with all amenities needed to cook. Cannot fault this place.

Stayed here for a night for a work trip. Lovely reception and restaurant staff who made me feel really welcome the moment I arrived. I will definitely stay here again next time I pass through. 10/10!

Love this place. Whenever I'm in Albury (once a month for work), I always stay & eat here. Modern rooms, free wifi, great menu, great service are just many of the features. I've stayed and attend at various motels and restaurants in Albury and would have to say this wins on both accounts, hands down. Ohh, and the rates are very affordable. Highly recommend

Just ate here in the restaurant . I must say I was impressed with the menu choice. I went for the calamari lime starter then the ribs. I was not disappointed. However friends ordered the salmon starter and it was tiny. But really I can't fault what I had. The rooms are spacious and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is terrific!! We were very impressed on our arrival to find the room and facilities exactly as advertised online. Our room is lovely and spacious. Staff are very friendly and really know what they're doing. We asked if they had baby cots available and found one set up in our room when we walked in. Thank you so much. I'd recommend it to anyone coming to Albury!

Always a good place to stay. Staff super friendly, rooms very clean and comfortable and restaurant caters for a range of tastes. Well located and walking distance to town as well as a park opposite for longer walks. Highly recommend this as a place to stay, have a drink at the bar or meet up for dinner.
