Best Western Plus Hovell Tree Inn Albury

Room was quite spacious but not particularly quiet as it was near the lifts & stairwell. Had dinner there and the staff were great, as was the food, although eye fillet was cooked closer to well-done than medium, was still tender. Wouldn't recommend the house red wine, spend the extra couple of dollars. Parking was under-cover with a lift very close. Shower is not enclosed so water tends to splash out under curtain onto floor making it slippery, be careful. But overall I enjoyed my stay.

stayed here a couple of nights ago with my partner and room was great for the 1 night my partner and i were staying for. however there was a foul smell in the fridge, but that was all. we went to dinner here and our experience with the food was awful. we had waited for 45 minutes for our meals and when it was served it was disappointing. my partner ordered the chicken schnitzel burger on the chef specials but got a beef burger instead. i ordered the fettuccine garlic prawn pasta that was not worth $37 at all. it was almost like a soup with little flavour. very disappointing on the food and the wait time but the service we received from the 2 that were on that night were lovely and gave the best hospitality service.

All staff i came across, whether at the desl or the restaurant were super kind. Stayed in a king room, the amenities are great! - kitchen bench and coffee machine are always be appreciated - showers are real flash - bed is comfy as can be - very spacious room - serviceable noise isolation Thanks!

This motel has gone down hill since I last visited 6 yrs ago, when I booked online it said the lift would be working bye mid august, so made a booking for early October when I arrived still no lift working as I had already paid for 3 nights we had to stay ,the room was small and a terrible smell was. coming from the fridge, no hot water for a shower no cooked breakfast my husband is 80 and I am late sevent no one to help with luggage down stairs no body there on weekends and no food on weekends very disappointing for the amount we paid and would not stay again.

An exceptionally pleasant stay under personally difficult circumstances. Beautifully appointed, excellent friendly, courteous, polite Staff, delicious food and perfect cleanliness. Nothing further could have improved my stay. Absolutely highly recommended.

The lift needs to be operational for access to 1st and second floors. Rooms are a good size and beds are extremely comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I changed my booking online using the Best Western website, I clicked the change booking button, moved my reservation out by a week and received a confirmation all was correct. I have now been charged for both. The hotel won't help as it was an error that occurred using their online booking system. The Best Western chain won't help as it is a franchise issue. I am being punished because their online booking system is faulty. I have stayed at this hotel 6 times for business and will never go back. Some of the staff are fabulous but there is one who is mean and unreasonable and will damage the business. Good luck if you stay there.

This is my go to accommodation when I stay in the region for work. All the staff are welcoming, the rooms are super comfortable and the restaurant food is on point. Emily and John are just superstars. Definitely recommend!

Love this place. Whenever I'm in Albury (once a month for work), I always stay & eat here. Modern rooms, free wifi, great menu, great service are just many of the features. I've stayed and attend at various motels and restaurants in Albury and would have to say this wins on both accounts, hands down. Ohh, and the rates are very affordable. Highly recommend

Just ate here in the restaurant . I must say I was impressed with the menu choice. I went for the calamari lime starter then the ribs. I was not disappointed. However friends ordered the salmon starter and it was tiny. But really I can't fault what I had. The rooms are spacious and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is terrific!! We were very impressed on our arrival to find the room and facilities exactly as advertised online. Our room is lovely and spacious. Staff are very friendly and really know what they're doing. We asked if they had baby cots available and found one set up in our room when we walked in. Thank you so much. I'd recommend it to anyone coming to Albury!

Always a good place to stay. Staff super friendly, rooms very clean and comfortable and restaurant caters for a range of tastes. Well located and walking distance to town as well as a park opposite for longer walks. Highly recommend this as a place to stay, have a drink at the bar or meet up for dinner.
