Best Western Plus Orlando Lake Buena Vista South Inn & Suites

The front desk Julian was fabulous! He was quick and efficient checking us in. He had shared all the important information, breakfast, pool, game room, laundry and location of ice and coffee right away. He even gave my excited 9 year old a bunch of stickers! The room is clean and has all the basic essentials; coffee maker, fridge, microwave even hair dryer. The parking lot is spacious and the pool area is amazing. My 9 year old definitely utilized the game room. We are very happy with our room for a very reasonable rate. We will definitely stay again when visiting the area.

We finally got to the hotel around 3am, tired and ready for bed. Unfortunately, we couldn't get comfortable because the rooms were disgusting. We booked the multiple king family room. The first room at Best Western gave us a bathroom that was filthy. There was a terrible odor that smelled of mold and cigarettes and the paint was peeling from the tub with brown stains around it. I requested another room, which was not better than the first. It was on the second floor, which was very unsteady because the subflooring had soft areas. There were two large dark spots on the carpet that looked unsanitary, spots around the bedding, and dirty linen. The tap water had a bad odor. The bed was extremely hard. I asked the person at the front desk if that was his best room. He basically said all the rooms were the same. I was so tired and it was so late we stayed without complaint. The following day I noticed the Theme park representative desk was empty. The hotel front desk rep. told me they stopped coming there a while ago. The reason I booked the hotel was because it said it was an official Disney affiliated hotel. So I was stuck there and had to by Disney park tickets elsewhere at full price. I spent more money than planned. I paid 5 star money for a 1 star trip. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

I've gone to this Best Western Location since 2019. The Location is amazing just 10-20 minutes away from all Disney parks. Supermarkets and food offerings are all in a mile radius from the hotel. The staff has always been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. But Julian , who works the front desk is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! He is always accommodating, understanding,and professional. An overall amazing employee.

Location is very close to Disney. Customer service is Excellent, great accommodation. The staff here does a superior job from Julian helping us out to the other crew who is always there for us. Great price I haven’t been able to taste the breakfast yet but looks delicious. Will definitely stay here again

It is our 3rd time coming to this hotel and it is amazing. The rooms are very comfy and spacious, good for families and close to the parks. Check in always goes smoothly. Julian at the front desk is very helpful and very nice during your stay. Look forward to our next trip here!

This hotel was really well situated if you’re driving. It was right off all the major roads and I was able to quickly get around. The staff are very polite & professional, whenever I had a question or request they were quick to respond. And when I reported a maintenance issue at night with my shower they had it fixed the next morning (just a simple clog/ shower wasn’t draining). The pool area is well kept and the pool was the perfect temperature (not chilly but not too warm) the hot tub did not seem to be working(it was cooler than the pool) but it looked like someone was working on it.

Good BW overall. Used the King suite with kids. The sofa bed is a joke, we ended up putting mattress on the floor so it was basically like a slightly softer floor sleeping experience. The king mattress was way too hard, pillows good and fluffy though. And the chairs were incredibly uncomfortable. Other than that everything was pretty good. The carpets need a cleaning but I think every busy hotel has that (although some of the hallway stains are obviously post vomit so that was nasty). Breakfast was good, standard BW choices. The only elevator that worked (one wasn't working) was pretty small for the hotel size, could hardly fit our luggage in. Pool area is very nice, but the hot tub was just slightly warmer than pool water FYI. Maybe it was having issues. Or in the hot day they decided to keep the heater off, not sure. It's still nice in a 95F day. The kids arcade looked fun but FYI all games require cash.

The breakfast is different and has so many options for kids and adults like a yogurt bar with toppings like cookies and coconut. The staff is super friendly and accommodating no matter your situation or payment method. The value was shocking considering the close location to all the Orlando parks. The pool and hot tub are well kept. This is legit my favorite hotel I couldn’t have been happier with the rate or the experience.
