Best Western Premier Hotel De La Paix

We spent two nights staying at this really lovely hotel! The rooms were a great size, the staff were very helpful and the place was immaculately clean. |We ate in both the restaurants and also had breakfast on both days. The food was to a very high standard, and the service was outstanding. |Our stay was made even better by the helpful staff who directed us to go and visit the Cathedral, which was really beautiful, and suggested other things to do. Our main reason for the trip was to attend the Christmas Market, which was excellent. |Although our room was on the front and there was a busy road, the noise was not a problem. The location of the hotel is excellent for visiting the nearby shops, the market and the Cathedral. There are also a lot of restaurants in the area if you want to venture out. |The atmosphere in the hotel was very relaxed and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.|I am in a wheelchair and the lift at the front of the hotel was great, it really helped. |It is worth booking the car park in advance if you have a car. |The price was good for the amount of facilities within the hotel, and the proximity to everything. |We will definitely be returning.

Great base for Reims. Easy 5-10 min walk from the train station. Just off the main mall with lots of places to eat at, etc. 10 min walk to the Cathedral and same to some of the champagne houses.|Room was lovely, service was great. Was nice to have a sauna but would have used the pool more if it was warmer. It was just luke warm at best. Considering how cold it was outside, it would have been nice if the pool was warmer.|Overall enjoyed our stay here.

This Premier hotel lives up to its reputation. We were very pleased with the staff, common areas and accommodations. The hotel has been renovated in sections over the past few years. We were in the premier room which has a small couch and table which is not seen in the website photos. It was spacious and filled with sunlight during the day. The breakfast area is large with a nice ambiance. Note there is the option of Express Breakfast rather than the full buffet if preferred. A visit to the bar is a must with it's enormous champagne bucket filled with a great variety of champagnes. The main dining room has many sections, making it feel more cozy. Location is perfect, right in the town center. Definitely recommend!

Double feelings… When I called to book a night, the lady couldn’t be bored. But locally the service was very kind and professional. We had a familial room (Mr 727) and were disappointed in the second bed which is actually just a sofa and was very hard to sleep on. Not recommended at all. See the picture. Charging the electrical car wasn’t a success as I couldn’t download their unpopular app and the alternatives were messy to deal with. It took hours and many people - all willing to help - to charge a little. Breakfast was lovely, place is quiet and perfectly located next to the center. Agreeable atmosphere.

Just spect 4 day i Reims at the Hotel de la Paix.||Location is excellent 1/2 a block from a main pedestrian street where there is a bunch of restaurants. Only about a 10 min. walk to the main train station. So location can not be beat.||We had a room with 3 single beds which is mainly two singles pushed together and a sofa made into a small single bed. We were comfortable so no issues .. bathroom was nice size and had plenty of closet space.||Service was ok but not overly friendly ... NOT once were we asked if we needed any recommendations. NOT once did anyone welcomed us back or asked if everything was ok. When I asked for directions to one of the champagne house, I was told take an uber .. very dry response. ||So don't expect the stellar service you would get at a 4/5 star hotel in other parts of France. ||Location, rooms and price were perfect for us.

Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms: large, comfortable beds, a full couch, a huge bathroom with a bright vanity and plenty of counter space, a separate toilet, and good closet space. The bar in the lobby was great, the location was in walking distance from everything, and the staff was friendly. I can’t say enough good things about the hotel and will definitely stay here next time I’m in Reims!

Lovely place for an overnight stay when taking a guided tour of Champagne. Easy walk to train station. Plenty of dining options nearby. A modern hotel with all amenities and friendly staff. Highly recommended. Don’t miss the cathedral. Clovis was baptized there.

An excellent stay in the heart of Reims, the capital of Champagne. The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring the city, just steps from its main attractions. The building has been refurbished to a very high standard, combining modern comfort with elegant design. Service is professional and attentive, and everything feels exceptionally well maintained — almost immaculate. A top choice for a refined and comfortable stay in Reims.

Very central location, and a nice aesthetically pleasing property. Our room was quite nice, with a street view. The front desk staff was kind, and allowed a late checkout with no issues. However, the shower smelled like pure sewage. This scent eventually found its way throughout the entire room. Thankfully, opening the window helped alleviate the odor.

The perfect location in Reims, France in the heart of champagne country. The staff were polite & cordial & the rooms were quite comfortable & quiet. They had a workout room, something not all hotels in France have. A sauna, swimming pool, sun deck & great restaurants. The continental breakfast was included every morning with probably the BEST scrambled eggs with extra butter ever! Only to be accompanied by cute little French country sausages. There are a lot of restaurants just one block away from the city square! And it's quiet here; something that larger French cities don't offer. I'd stay here again.

Unlike the United States, this Best Western was a hidden gem! Located in Reims, near the downtown area and a short walk from the train station. The rooms were a good size for Europe, and the showers were also pretty big. The showers were raised and slanted a little so the water drained down rather than going outside of your shower like you typically see in most European hotels. There's also a good hairdryer in the hotel, a mini fridge, and an iron. They offer breakfast, but it was expensive for what they offer: scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage with a variety of baked goods. There are who many bakeries nearby, one even next door! Don't waste your money at their breakfast.

Modern entrance. There is a secure car park in the basement of the building. What sadly lets the hotel down is the room. I upgraded to the double privilege room to find it was in desperate need of attention and some TLC. Chipped paint and the shower was in need of a good scrub, with limescale build up on the door and dirty grouting inside the shower. The hygiene of the separate toilet was also questionable with brown staining to the back and lower part of the bowl. I asked for a room change, but only a room next to the noisy lift shaft was available. I questioned the room type as the website photos for the privilege rooms Show a different bed frame. This was dismissed and I was told that all the beds are the same! I also mentioned the poor hygiene and was informed by the night staff that the manager would be informed in the morning. The pool was closed due to maintenance, but after what I've seen of the rooms, it's probably for the best. Very sad times - I'm not feeling privileged!

Room is nice and spacious. Decor is clean and modern. We were on the second flour right next to the elevator. ASK FOR ANOTHER ROOM if you get 227. The walls and floors seem very thin. You can hear every footstep, conversation, and general noise. Also they seemed to re fold our used towels even after you threw them on the floor. I gave it four stars because the negatives still outweighed the space and the location. Great location! Edit- I'm not sure how I feel about this hotel. We checked out on Friday sept 4, took a 45 min train to Paris, checked in our hotel in Paris and called Best Western. I left my formal dress and jacket in the closet, can you overnight it? Well they don't have the dress. Not found. Wtf?!?! Now I don't have a dress fort dinner at chateau de Versailles. So mad!! I don't understand how they do not have a dress that I just left. This is very bad.

This is THE place to stay in Reims. Clean, modern, close to the central train, right next to the pedestrian center of town, close to the tram. Staff is excellent. Both front desk people I spoke with were very helpful and fluent in English (among other languages). Bed was comfortable. We had no noise issues. The hotel restaurant was also very good.

Normal 3-star hotel with well equiped rooms. But the situation is perfect. Right next to a car-free street with a whole lot of pubs and restaurants. The main attraction, the cathedral, is a 5-10 minutes walk. For your information: there is a lightshow every evening at 10,30pm and 11pm that you don't want to miss (I don't know if it's only in summer or all year around). The bed in the room is rather good. They have a restaurant belonging to the hotel, but i didn't try it.

Comfortable clean room, with an AWESOME bathroom - not at all what I had heard about France. The hotel even featured 2 restaurants, a bar, small workout area and a pool. Not to mention, it is located in the heart of Reims, offering shopping, dining, spas and much more. For the value, this location and space cannot be beat.

Staying in Reims? This is it. Great central location. Clean and well designed rooms. I'd try to get a room facing the back as there will be inevitable city sounds on the front, but otherwise this is where I stay when getting my bubble on.

Well located hotel, the only one on the way back from the French Alps to London that I could find with an indoor swimming pool. Very clean too.

Hotel squeezes you for money at every turn. "Free" services are then added to your bill. And no amount of charm and patience will get them to take it off.

It's what you'd expect from a Best Western. Clean. Comfortable. Good location. One plus is the happening hotel bar.
