Best Western Premier Hôtel De La Poste Troyes & Spa Nuxe

Thus was not our first visit in the hotel but it probably was the last. Arrived after 15:00 h but the room was not ready. Then they found something , the last room at the end of a long long corridor. We had lots of luggage so we asked something closer to the elevator. But the room they had was tiny. We accepted because there was not another option and they said that that's all they have. The weather was cold but there is no heat in the hotel. Except bathroom , the system does not work. Corridors - cold as outside. At the bar-cold. Also at breakfast room-cold I understand that they want to save money , they announced me by mail that " they are commited to reduce energy and water consumption", that is rude and keeping people in cold is a crime, I do not want to be sick. At least they can public on their website that this is their policy so we can plan our trip accordingly . The economy they make was visible also at breakfast, there were no plates available( in order to make you eat all your foods from the same plate- no need to clean) Sugar only from a recipient, no .individual packages. Jam- something cheap, worst quality.

In the stunning French city of Troyes this hotel is in the perfect location! From here we could walk to all of the interesting tourist sites and the beauty of the old medieval city. Such a treasure!! The breakfast service and variety of delicacies was exceptional. We enjoyed starting our day with some window watching to the street outside! We did find our room a little bit dark but in such a central location, in a historic building it is understandable that natural light is not always an easy option.

Really lovely hotel right in the middle of the most charming town of Troyes, France a must to visit. Excellent parking just a couple of minutes walk. Amazing room and bathroom. Would definitely stay again.

2nd time staying here. Had the family suite in the top floor and it was perfect. Great staff and the breakfast is one of the best. Great location too!

Perfect spot near he centre of Troyes. Secure parking. Staff were very helpful. Excellent breakfast. If desired you can order a meal from a favourite restaurant and ask for delivery. Staff will arrange room service

This is a nice hotel, centrally located and with good facilities. Staff were friendly but not intrusive. For those arriving by car there is a designated area for unloading, with a secure parking garage a short walk away. We stayed room only and would be happy to stay there again.

Love, love this classy little hotel. Though we booked two basic rooms, they were anything but. Modern decor that somehow maintained an old world vibe. Small but exquisite bathroom and a comfy, supportive bed. Spotless in every corner. Charming, multilingual staff who greeted us warmly. An intimate street-front bar we sadly didn’t get to visit. We didn’t use the spa area either but it looked quite nice. And location, location, location. It’s perfect. Would love to stay again.

Overseas locations of US hotel chains are always WAY nicer than their US counterparts. Take this Best Western - in the States this would be a low/medium 2 star hotel - basic. Here? Well, there's a lovely lobby with a bar, a full onsite spa and luxurious Nuxe products in the rooms. The location is ideal - a short walk from the central station, a few blocks from the market and centrally located to all of central Troyes. There are hundreds of shops and restaurants within a short walk, plus a spectacular bakery directly across the street. Rooms are standard Euro size with very comfortable beds, a nice rainfall shower and those lovely Nuxe toiletries. Wifi worked well and is free. Staff was great too - we arrived early and they allowed us to check in. Shout out to Lana who was determined to improve my bad French - hopefully I'll be back to demonstrate my progress.
