Best Western Premier Hotel Slon

I stayed at Best Western Premier Hotel Slon in Ljubljana for a week and had a truly wonderful experience. The location is excellent — right in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance of all the main sights, shops, and restaurants. The room was thoughtfully designed & comfortably specious (superior deluxe double room). The breakfast had great variety and was truly sumptuous. Hotel made our stay very pleasant. The staff were exceptionally courteous, helpful, and attentive. Even before our arrival; Tjaša Žužek had nicely answered all my queries and arranged for airport shuttle. Aljaž Hudrap thoughtfully suggested and arranged all our day tours to lakes, caves, waterfalls, valley and a beach. At a front desk; Elizaveta & Munis were always ready with a smile and prompt assistance. Mirjana & Fatima from the housekeeping were always ready for anything you ask for. Overall, this hotel combines comfort, convenience, and caring service beautifully. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ljubljana.

Wonderful experience with this hotel. We were originally supposed to stay for four nights and then join a tour through Slovenia and Croatia. I developed a dental abscess requiring a complex procedure and had to stay around the city to have suture removal. The hotel was essentially booked up, but the front desk manager and his crew were so pleasant and understanding that they were able to find me a room for the rest of the trip. Pretty much everybody in the country speaks English so communication is easy. The room was a little worn but more than adequate and very comfortable. The location is outstanding and walkable to the old city and anything important. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff at the buffet work their tails off and were extremely pleasant even asking me every few days how I was doing. I would not hesitate to go back.

Hotel located in the city center from where you can start your visit of the Slovenian capital. I was warmly welcomed and my room was ready when I arrived in the late morning. The room was really big and very clean. The style could be more modern for my taste but you have all you need in the room. The bed was comfortable and the wifi in the room was available and fast. In the morning you can enjoy a big breakfast buffet on the 1st floor and the service is good.

We stayed here for four nights. Very central hotel meant we could walk to all attractions which was great. Ljubljana is a very walkable city. Although the rooms are slightly dated, they were still of high quality. Nice bedding and lots of amenity kits in the bathroom which were appreciated. |We also had a nice view outside our window of the very ornate post office building.|Although in a very central location we found it quiet when trying to sleep. |Rooms were made up each day and free water provided each time also which was nice. We did have a fridge in the room also. |Breakfast was the best quality we had on our whole holiday in Slovenia. Huge choice and always filled up whether you were there early or late. Tables cleared quickly so never an issue getting a seat. |The hotel arranged a taxi to take us to the airport on the day we left. We were told at reception this was a set price of 40 euros but the driver actually charged us 45 euros. Not sure who was in the wrong here or if it was just an error.

Great location for trains, buses and the old town. Stylish and popular bar/cafe adjoining reception. Breakfast buffet very well done with plenty of options and friendly service. Some renovations underway (hence only 4 stars for rooms) but otherwise a very nice hotel.

My wife and I recently came back from a visit of 4 days to this hotel. We were very pleased with our room(Superior Deluxe which I strongly suggest springing the extra money for) breakfast was wonderful and the breakfast staff were very competent and friendly. The hotel location was very good, close to many interesting sites. |I would recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay here. The location is perfect,just round the corner from the center. The beds were a little bit too soft for me, but this is a personal preference. Breakfast was yummy, great choice of food. The one thing that made our stay were the staff, always willing to help and easy to approach. A special mention to Amos, the bar tender. He is lovely, very friendly and always made us laugh. Thank you. X

I recently stayed at the Best Western Premier Hotel Slon in Ljubljana and was overall very pleased with my experience. The rooms are on the smaller side, but very clean and well-equipped. Despite the limited space, you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The shower is a bit dated and could use some renovation, but it still works just fine. The breakfast was definitely a highlight – varied, fresh, and with something for everyone. The hotel bar is also very nice, with a stylish atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxing evening. What really stood out to me was the staff, especially at the reception: extremely professional, efficient, competent, and genuinely friendly. They made the whole experience smooth and welcoming from the start. All in all, a very pleasant stay in a central location – I would definitely recommend this hotel.
