This is quintessential Americana! The rooms are charming and also have very up to date bathroom amenities. Service from the front desk staff and housekeeping was excellent and the connected National Exemplar restaurant is great. Two complaints - the workout room only has three pieces of equipment, and the treadmill was broken. Also, on Christmas morning the restaurant was closed so they provided pastries - yummy but way too sweet! Needed some healthier options. For the cost ($350/night) it is a bit overpriced. Otherwise five stars

We simply had a great stay. The attached and independent restaurant is very good and had breakfast there every morning for our four day visit. We had dinner there two of the nights and again, very good. The staff at the restaurant were second to none and the same can be said for the Best Western too. Just outside the hotel and across the street are three fine restaurants. Although a little pricey, the ambiance and quality are well worth it. In the evening we like to take a walk. This is a wonderful safe community to stroll around night and day.

The bed is so comfortable. The room was very clean and full of space. We had a view overlooking the street and lights. The hotel is so cozy and quiet with many wonderful touches. There are several shops and restaurants within walking distance; however, it seems most things are closed Sunday and Monday.

Our room was impeccably clean, and I loved how neatly the bed was made. There's nothing worse than arriving to find the bed looking slept in, but this one had perfectly tight, wrinkle-free sheets. I also appreciated the fresh towels and made bed the next day, as many places no longer offer this service. These small touches made a big difference!

Cincinnati city hotels were overrun due to the MNF game, so I stayed at the Best Western Premier Mariemont Inn and it was less convenient, but pleasant, comfortable, and safe. ||The second-floor room was comfortable though my view overlooked a parking lot and the television, normally hidden behind a painting that slid away for the reveal, stayed off (except for this weird morning where the sound came on but there was no image--it was a little disconcerting). There was a fake-fire fireplace that didn't seem to emit any heat. The bathroom was tight with the toilet right behind the door, but the shower was fine and I didn't use the bathtub. Beds were pretty comfortable.||No issues with the surrounding neighborhood, where I did morning jogs (there's a nice bike trail nearby) and then would use the small gym to stretch and cool down. ||The tuck shop provides free coffee all day, which is helpful--though the machine did not provide any decaf options.||The lobby lounge was comfortable for sitting and relaxing. The wifi in the room was great.||The one downside is that getting an uber from this hotel to get into the city takes forever (and is quite expensive). I drove a rental car for most of my visit, but the one night we wanted to uber in for a nice dinner, I was late to dinner because we couldn't find a pickup. Plan accordingly.||Overall, nice stay! Thanks to the staff.

Mariemont Inn is the perfect hotel if you are visiting the Mariemont, Terrace Park, Indian Hill areas of Cincinnati. Located in the beautiful town of Mariemont, it is a beautiful hotel with the character of an old English inn. The rooms are large and spacious and even though it’s on a busy street, they are very quiet. The restaurant and bar are also top notch. The icing on the cake, or in this case the ice cream, is that you are walking distance from Graeter’s ice cream! You are also walking distance from a movie theater, shops and beautiful parks.

The Mariemont Inn was a lovely quaint hotel. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Inn has a very specific charm to it and we really appreciated the attention to detail. Loved that there was parking right behind the hotel which was very convenient. It was nice being so close to restaurants and little shops too. The tuck shop was a great touch as I enjoy my cup of tea and having access 24hrs a day was a plus. We took advantage of the in-house pub and restaurant as well - both are highly recommended. If we're ever in the Cincinnati area again, we'll definitely stay again.

Yelp
My wife and I passed by the Mariemont Inn on the way home from a friend's wedding in Cincinnati last year and decided on the spot that we'd have to check it out sometime. That time finally came last week, and though it wasn't quite as beautifully lit as it was when we first saw it at the peak of the holidays, I can now vouch for Mariemont's beauty in the autumn as well -- it's unlike anywhere else I know of in the Cincinnati area. We were pleasantly surprised by how well the inn adheres to its roots without feeling dated. The place is filled with old world aesthetics and details that far exceed what I've come to expect from the Best Western brand including real wood furniture, well-preserved brass and paneling at every turn, and a quiet, conversation-friendly lobby full of cozy nooks to sit and enjoy complementary coffee and tea. The restaurant and bar aren't half bad either, though I wish the latter had better hours. The rooms (of which there are only a few dozen) are delightfully outfitted with above-average amenities including Tempur-Pedic mattresses in wood-carved four-poster frames, Herman Miller office chairs, and hidden TVs -- a motorized roll-up painting gimmick I had a lot of fun with. But my favorite part was the shower, spacious walk-ins with optional rainfall shower heads and even heated anti-fog mirrors both IN the shower and at the vanity. Delightful. The surrounding town is a delight as well. Just beyond the inn's front doors lies a beautiful plaza complete with fountain, walkable sidewalks, park space, and a half dozen or more small businesses (I'm particularly fond of the Mariemont Theater, one of only three independently operated cinemas in Cincinnati). Overall, the inn is comfortable enough and there's enough to do within walking distance that I could easily see this as my own kind of idealized small-town resort -- a cozy slice of history that keeps on giving the more you look. We will be coming back!

Yelp
This hotel is such a vibe. Not only is it beautiful, it's the quietest hotel experience I've ever had. I wasn't even sure if other people were on our floor until we saw folks coming down for breakfast. The room is beautiful and actually pretty large. The only thing that was a little weird was the coffeemaker stored in the bathroom but there is free coffee and tea in the lobby 24 hours so it wasn't even necessary to pull it out. They have a cute little shop you can purchase snacks in addition to a bar and restaurant on-site. While I love a complimentary hotel breakfast, the breakfast we had at the in-site restaurant was one of the best meals of our trip. Parking is free on-site. The neighborhood is incredibly walkable and there are so many restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the Cincinnati area.

Yelp
I made a call to ask if our Double Queen room could be decorated for my bestie and my annual girls Christmas excursion and gift exchange. We ended up with a lovely decorated tree, along with lighted garland for the fireplace. Beautifully done not just in our room, but the entire hotel was decorated to a tee with Christmas decor. The front desk personnel on both calls and check in were absolutely the kindest and most accommodating possible with every interaction. Later I learned the first person I booked with and later asked about the decorations was none of than the GM. How impressive the GM answers calls and even works the evening shift on the front desk. No wonder the attention to detail and customer service is top notch. A hands on working GM is the way to assure top standards are a priority. We dined at the National Exemplar for dinner and it was a very positive experience as well. I had the Pork Shank which was butter knife tender. The seasoning had many layers of flavors that made my meal one of my favorites in years! My friend had a very high report for her meal as well. The hotel is comfortable, immaturely clean with a charm that shines. Every nook and cranny has beautiful art work or period appropriate decor. The history of the hotel is laced around the lobby along with the key card holder. This hotel deserves a 5* plus for service and execution on every level!

Yelp
We have been using this hotel for years. It's a Tudor style hotel with tons of character. It's not your Nirmal hotel. The lobby, sitting areas, and bar smell of rich mahogany and leather bound books.(Thats from a movie. Lol) The whole hotel is very classy as are the rooms. The showers are awesome and have a raindrop shower head if you choose to use it. Three are small refrigerators in the rooms. The tvs are hidden behind a picture that lowers and raises. Just go to their website for pics. I highly recommend that you stay at this hotel. Do it!!!!

Yelp
Amazing place. Quaint hotel in the middle of Mariemont with restaurants and a movie theatre in walking distance. Extremely hospitable staff who assist in every way, spotless accommodations with upscale fixtures, great bedding and soundproofed rooms. The building is rock solid with the attached bar and restaurant. A firm five stars.

Yelp
We took a quick trip to Cincinnati last weekend and I was looking at downtown hotels overlooking the river when my husband tells me that he booked us at the Best Western in Mariemont. I looked at him like he was crazy. I've never been so wrong to question him. This place is a gem. It's precious. Inviting. So clean. Our room was so homey. Decorative fireplace. Television hidden by a painting. The bathroom was a dream. I love a good walk in shower separate from the tub. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Did I mention how clean it was? We are already planning our trip back. The little village of Mariemont is adorable. I'm looking forward to visiting again when the weather is warmer.

Yelp
Love love loved this place. Our entire wedding party & some guest stayed here too & they still speak about how much the loved the Inn & the area.

Chelsea K.

Yelp
My stay here was just lovely. I didn't want to leave! I flew in from California on a red eye just for one night, and called when I got to town to see if I could get an early check in, which they gave me. After being on a plane overnight, it was so nice to be able to go immediately to the hotel room. When I checked in, Steven (I hope I'm spelling that right) helped me out at the front desk. He was so helpful and kind, and made me feel very welcome. He saw me go through the lobby later on and made sure I was happy with my room. He was wonderful! My room was so quaint and cozy, yet very spacious. The faux fireplace in the room was such a nice cozy touch, especially in the winter. I had breakfast the next morning at the National Exemplar, which is the restaurant in the hotel. It was delicious, and everyone was very friendly. My entire experience was wonderful, and it made for a perfect little trip while I was in town for business. Mariemont is a hidden gem, and I would definitely recommend staying at the Mariemont Inn and exploring the charming little town.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel! Rooms are large and comfortable . Early 1920's hotel that has been kept in like new condition while continuing the original feel! I love it!

Alexander P.

Yelp
Such a cool boutique hotel. While I haven't stayed here and cannot comment on the rooms or service, the Tudor architecture is reason enough to pay it a visit. It's one of the most iconic buildings in Mariemont - and it is certainly stunning inside and out. The lobby has beautiful woodwork and terra cotta - it's classy and elegant but has tons of natural light in the morning. There are small alcoves around the lobby to sit or read by the fireplace. Even if you aren't planning on being a guest - check it out! It might be a "Best Western" but this must be the nicest property in their portfolio - a truly stunning piece of history!

Betty H.

Yelp
It was so clean and the staff was wonderful! The hotel room looked like something out of a disney movie and it was fun to look around the hotel! It is in a prime spot as well and stayed at a fairly decent price even though everyone else was jacking theirs up for taylor swift! 13/10 recommend!!

Tori M.

Yelp
This hotel is perfect for a getaway. Located in Mariemont it fits the neighborhood perfectly looking like a part of a quaint little German town. My friend and I spent a night here to take a break and we definitely choose the right spot. Once we parked in the hotel lot we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go and experienced a stress free girls weekend. The beds were super comfortable, the decor made us feel as if we were far away from the stress of daily life and the neighborhood was friendly and welcoming. This is a great place to stay if you are visit from out of town or if your local and are just looking for something different.

Yelp
Every time we come to Cincinnati, and we need a hotel, we're always drawn back here. This Best Western Hotel is situated in the charming town of Mariemont within the suburbs of Cincinnati, & it has been here since the town was established. Has quite an interesting history & is finely done with old world charm. Lovely lobby and restaurant plus a little side bar room by the Lobby for a late afternoon or evening cocktail. The staff is very accommodating, and it's immaculately clean throughout. The hotel's rooms are impeccable, the bathrooms are very up to date & well appointed, and their beds are ever so comfortable. Our #1 choice whenever we are here. Highly recommend.

Doc M.

Yelp
Like staying in a fairy tale. When you see the name "Best Western" you may have a preconceived notion of what that means. THIS IS NOT IT! Everything from the architecture of the building, to the unique amenities in the rooms, to the dining options in the lobby make this place a fun departure from the typical hotel.

John D.

Yelp
Very friendly and helpful staff upon check-in. The rooms are really unique and cool. The shower has both a shower head on the wall and overhead. Plus, it's in a nice area that is super interesting. Highly recommend.

Bill H.

Yelp
Stayed for 5 nights on a business trip into the area and was pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the accommodations as well as the local services. Very large rooms with exceptional bathrooms. On-site bar and pub along with an excellent farm to table full service restaurant..National Exemplar. You cannot go wrong staying here for pleasure and/or business...it will turn out wonderfully. I will return to this location..

S.J. W.

Yelp
This is an incredible place to stay, loaded with historic character, but also so clean and up to date with all the needs of the digital traveler. The restaurant graciously dealt with my weird, but lethal food allergies and my stay of several days was a delight. I also felt the room cost was very reasonable. I will be returning to Cincinnati every few months and you can bet this is where I will stay.

Penny S.

Yelp
I stayed there for two weeks to decompress from a totally terrible situation- very kind at first for 5000.00 it cost me and my lost/taken property out of my room and usage from some else without my acknowledgement- told front desk and they lied- they were mean as shit after I reported strange things going on and got completely snotty and wrong with me basically calling me a liar- I gave them 4200.00- the food is nothing to talk about - but everyone keeps raving it up - however it is better than most hotels - like I stated they were completely accommodating until you pitch a bitch about something- furniture - im sorry does not move across ed a room on its own - and that did happen in mine - they were nasty in the end run and someone else was using my room the whole damned time even though I bought and paid for it singly- oh- dont bother putting shit in the security box - they break in to it while your gone - they did that to me - jerk used what I had in there - like everything - its mariemont! Anyhow - the police were nice! I think thats all I need to say- right!

Rich P.

Yelp
Charm, charm, charm! I can't express in words what a quaint community this is. The hotel is amazing from check in, to staff, to location, cleanliness and pleasing aesthetic atmosphere! If you're looking to park your car for the weekend and never leave, this IS the place. Bistro's, movies, restaurants, Graeters Ice Cream, Starbucks, boutiques, all within a few blocks- this place has everything you need for a romantic getaway with your Bae.

Andy K.

Yelp
I've stayed here a few times over the years. I'm really delighted with the post-renovation results. Comfy beds, fancy hidden TV's, fireplaces, fast wifi, and a hot shower - what more can you ask for!?

Sandra F.

Yelp
Considered to be a historical landmark. My husband stayed here a while back before we moved to Mariemont. The rooms are renovated and clean. My favorite part of this hotel is the lobby. A cross between rustic, vintage and german feel. I highly recommend going to the restaurant/bar- National Exemplar, which is located in the hotel. Very friendly staff.

Timmothy K.

Yelp
I love this hotel. It's very comfortable and historic. If you press a button on the wall in your room, a painting slides up to reveal a TV! Beds were comfy and bathroom was clean. Staff was friendly and when we got water glasses at the bar the bartender just told us that room service could take care of it. He was right! If you are staying in Mariemont or Cincinnati, the Mariemont Inn is a great place to stay. Awesome.

Amanda W.

Yelp
This was a beautiful hotel. The beds were very comfortable, the service was excellent, and the whole place was wonderfully charming. Details like a motion sensor light next to the bed, real glass glasses to drink from in the room, a wall mounted mini fridge, were just a few of the things that made this exceptional.

Elizabeth D.

Yelp
Amazing. I love this place. The beds are comfortable. The pillows are great. It's always very clean and the towels are fresh. I've stayed here about 25 nights over the last 1.5 years and it's been consistently fantastic. It's nicely updated and very well maintained. The rooms are all different configurations and all very nice sized. Some have larger rooms and smaller bathrooms and others have larger bathrooms and smaller rooms. None of which I would complain about. The pub and restaurant in the building have always served wonderful food and drinks and the music is always great entertainment. The specials menu rarely changes, but the regular menu is always great so it's just not necessary. I love this place! The surrounding neighborhood and village are neat to walk through as well.

Lacy R.

Yelp
Loved this quaint Inn. Like other posters indicated, I would not have expected this hotel being a "Best Western" property. The architecture is awesome and at the holiday time, they had decorated very festive with great scents as you walked in the front door. The staff was very friendly, our rooms large and comfortable with a fireplace, the baths were updated, nice neighborhood view and most importantly, the room was quiet. We dined at the hotel each morning and had drinks and appetizers in the bar in the evening. Again, great service, choices, prices, and flavor. If you're looking for something to do, there is a movie theatre across the street, coffee house and shopping nearby. I HIGHLY recommend Mariemont Inn.

Drew W.

Yelp
The restaurant is quite nice but the Inn is overpriced. You can get way more bang for the buck down town. Not much of a view, and the staff is someone what condescending. The rooms also smell as musty as they did in the 80s. Down town is much more convent. It is not worth the price.

Sara G.

Yelp
We loved this hotel!!! Stepping into the lobby was like stepping back in time. The decor was beautiful and inviting. Our room was FABULOUS! All rooms have an electric fireplace and a TV hidden behind a painting. The Temperpedic beds were ridiculously comfortable, and the waterfall shower head was luxurious. This hotel didn't take any shortcuts- everything is beautiful and top of the line. The restaurant was also delicious for breakfast- we weren't able to eat supper there bc we didn't realize we would need a reservation to get a table. We will definitely stay here again during our next trip to Cincy.

Kelsey B.

Yelp
The hotel was wonderful!! We opted to stay here in one of their suites for our wedding night and the room was amazing. However, I reached out to the hotel in advance to let them know it was our wedding night and was told they would get with the restaurant manager to see what they could do. After follow up attempts they never got back to me and upon checking into the hotel they said there were no notes of it being our wedding night. I was a little disappointed in this. Other than that, though, the room itself was amazing. Comfortable beds, great shower and jetted tub.

Julie K.

Yelp
Driving 15 of the last 24 hours to see a high school regatta was so worth it just so we could stay in the Best Western Scooby Doo Mystery Mansion, a.k.a. Best Western Mariemont, OH. From what we saw between 12:47 am when we checked in until 7:20 am when we had to check out was a charming hotel in a charming little town that, well, charmed the socks right off of us! In all seriousness, when we come back for future regattas we will be lidging here and staying an extra night or two to fully enjoy this place. Perfect for a parents' romantic get away while a bus full of teenage rowers are whooping it up in some poor Holiday Inn in Kentucky. We stayed in what must have been a king suite that was huge and well appointed in the theme of the rest of the hotel. The bathroom - what bliss - shower, separate jacuzzi, separate lavatory. It really looks like it would be a fun place to stay for another night or two. Highly recommend (and that's coming from a bit of a hotel snob).

B M.

Yelp
We booked the hotel for a weekend getaway. We had to book separate days because they were full, no biggie. Our first room was a queen double. The room was nice, and was very clean. Bed was very comfortable, we have a Temperpedic at home, so was very familiar. Sheets were great, loved the blanket (need to find one like it). The second night we moved to a king. Same nice bed, clean, etc. The only issue is that the lights in the room would flicker and the TV would go off about every couple of hours, inconvenient yes, but really kind of scary (as in is there a short or are we in danger?!?, not ghost). They were full, so they could not move us, which I understand, but I'm still kind of freaking about it (safety concerns). 2 stars because of the light/TV issue and the under-concerned staff.

Barry G.

Yelp
One of the best hotel experiences we've had! Very clean rooms with unique decor and lots of things to like. Also enjoyed the bar in the hotel and plenty of good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Mary H.

Yelp
This is one of the loveliest places I have ever stayed! Absolutely immaculate, and the staff is friendly and very accommodating. I don't like to leave my own comfortable home unless I can go to someplace better, and this is it!! Very homey and welcoming. There is a bar off the lobby for late afternoon drinks, and an excellent restaurant on site. The food is delicious. Housekeeping staff is friendly, always smiling and asking if they can help in any way. Front desk personnel are awesome. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this establishment. Definitely worth your stay! The neighbourhood has a movie Theater, ice cream shop, cup Cakery, toy shop, etc. In a VERY safe area that is just delightful!!! I'll be back!! Loved it!

Lily C.

Yelp
We were looking for a family vacation not far from home (Louisville) but didn't like the hotel options in downtown Cincy/Covington/Newport. This hotel was amazing. It's in a neat and unique town so it's kind of a vacation within a vacation. If you don't feel like going and see the sites in Cincy or elsewhere, you can explore the town, with ice cream, book stores, toy stores, coffee places, and pizza places all in walking distance. The hotel itself manages to accomplish an antique feel without seeming old and outdated. Modern amenities, clean, and quiet. The bar is a nice space and the restaurant is decent and right on site. We would definitely stay here again.

Kelley G.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel. Booked it for a birthday "treat". My husband and I just wanted a good night's sleep after the frustrations of getting little sleep at home with 2 small children. This hotel was personally recommended by close friends. After cancelling a reservation at a less expensive hotel and making a reservation here, we were given a beautiful room with breakfast 'included'. However, between the hours of midnight and 2 am, we had non stop noise (kids yelling in the halls, slamming doors, people standing and conversing outside of our door). First, we walked out and addressed the noise. After another few minutes, we called the front desk. They told us they would handle it but excused it with "a family that just checked in". Finally, around 2am, things died down. But, honestly it was beyond frustrating that the one thing you hope to get at a nice hotel (sleep), was constantly interrupted. Next, when we went down for breakfast the next morning, we were only given "vouchers" in the amount of 10/ piece when almost every meal on the menu was over that. So not only did we pay extra for the room to include breakfast, but we ended up paying even more once we got there. Beyond misleading. After calling and speaking with the hotel manager, she told me she'd "check into things" and call me back the next day with a solution. Never heard back. Will be elevating this to corporate. No excuse for not getting rest when you paid $225 for a room.

Andrew F.

Yelp
Amazingly beautiful old style hotel. The Lobby is a rustic lodge style feel but still very luxurious. My wife and I had our wedding guests stay here and we spent the night in the Grand Master Suite overlooking Mariemont Square. I love the flat screen tvs that are hidden behind paintings that roll up wen a button is pushed. Also the lobby is just a great place to hang out with a beer or glass of wine. We were up drinking wine two nights before our wedding here with guests until 1:00 am.

Nyk M.

Yelp
This is my favorite hotel that I've stayed in. First; Best value by far. Very reasonably priced, both in room rates and the restaurant. The decor of the hotel is unique and elegant, and is just beautiful when walking through. It has a cozy yet fancy feel, and makes you feel like home. Room sizes are very spacious, and so are the bathrooms. The bathrooms are clean, modern, and efficient, and the double shower head (normal and ceiling head) was a neat touch and made for a great shower. The beds were comfy and service was top level. Every employee made us feel welcome and able to be helped at any time. Finally, the restaurant was extremely impressive, with a delicious breakfast with over the top service from Cody R. Only regret is that we were travelling other places and couldnt stay longer. If I'm ever relatively close to this property again, I will 100% stay here and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Sarah K.

Yelp
This place is amazing. AMAZING. Whenever I have to go Cincy, I make it a point to stay here. Actually, I'm bringing my husband here this weekend for an Ikea trip (even though Ikea is a bit of a drive from the Inn)! The Inn doesn't have an "inn" or "hotel" feel, nor a "chain hotel" feel. It's very cozy, very homey-feeling, and makes you feel as if you've been transported from Cincy to the Cotswolds. The rooms are divine. Whether you need a king room or two queens, you're set. The beds have temper-pedic mattresses, the bathroom has both a tub and an AMAZING shower, and best part of the room is the tv! Let's just say that I can't wait until this weekend- this hotel is tops!

Adolfo N.

Yelp
This review is for the lobby, they have an excellent bar and lobby area to come have a quiet drink. If you want to avoid starbucks, and the deli is too loud, slide into the lobby and have a coffee or a beer, they offer them both. Just leave my table alone, i like to come in and chill, don't want it to be too popular.

Kim Y.

Yelp
We stayed last night and thought it was a very neat place. It was decorated for xmas and the layout is like castle. The front desk girl was pleasant informative and helpful. There area around was cute, it reminded of a little european town. The room was very big, great tile shower, king sz temperpedic mattress and the tv was behind a painting that retracted up into the wall. Hope to stay here again!!!

Sarah C.

Yelp
Was staying here for a funeral and a tour of my mom's childhood haunts. Love that they had 2 bars to sneak away from mom and properly lubricate myself for both events. It's kinda in the middle of nowhere but is the nearby movie theater, graters icecream and attached restaurant make up for that. Lovely restoration of the building, clean, comfy, quiet and friendly staff. After much research we decided this was the best place to bed down in cini. We were right.

Frank w.

Yelp
Stayed here for a wedding and the hotel was great. I would have normally not thought about giving a review and thought that the hotel was a 4 star worthy experience. However I left my sunglasses in my room and I realized it 4 days after leaving. I called the hotel and they had my sunglasses set aside, had tried contacting the number (my parents number) on the room to return them to me and thereafter shipped them to me immediately. Thank you all for your help.

Laura A.

Yelp
I love this hotel. I have traveled to Cincinnati several times recently for work and enjoy staying here. The location is great, close to everything but not downtown so no traffic and parking is free. Also a very quiet, safe neighborhood. There is a Starbucks next door and some good restaurants within walking distance, and a pretty good place in the hotel. The decor is unique, kind of Renaissance/Tudor themed, but with newly redone rooms (tempurpedic beds and gorgeous bathrooms) with nice touches like electric fireplaces in each room. This is a good place if you want a nice, quiet, comfortable room. If you want excitement, you will be disappointed.

J. P.

Yelp
Recently while visiting Cincinnati, the wife and I stayed here for a night. I have always thought Mariemont was a very charming village, and have eaten at National Exemplar many times, but had always thought the hotel would be old and outdated, and thus had never spent the night. I was mistaken. While the inside of the hotel transports you back in time, the room that we stayed in was updated beautifully, but still kept the historical feel of the place intact. The wide screen tv was hidden behind a painting, the bed was tempurpedic and very comfortable, and the bathroom had a large soaking tub and a glass shower with both a traditional shower head and a rain shower overhead. The attendant who greeted us upon arrival was extremely friendly, and the restaurant is great. The bar area is perfect, with a large fireplace and several windows looking out into the city of Mariemont. Close enough to the city to be a nice alternative to staying downtown.

Yelp
I've stayed here twice for business and I have to say, I really love this hotel! It is beautifully themed like tudor castle which is fun but never crosses the line into cheesy. The front desk staff are top notch as are the folks in the lobby bar. Recently renovated, the rooms are very spacious and feature modern updated bathrooms with features like overhead "rain" showerheads. The beds are tempurpedic mattresses and super comfortable. There are thoughtful touches like automatic footlights next to the bed that light your way when you get up at night, and flat screen TV's mounted into the walls behind decorative "paintings". There is a small fitness center , and "business center" (computer with a printer you can use for boarding passes, etc). Parking is free in the rear of the building. The hotel restaurant, the National Exemplar, is also very good. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a luxury hotel, but for the tier it's in, it's one of the best.

Yelp
Loved it! Room 300 is quite big. Loved the shower. Very cute lobby, and you can walk to restaurants, a movie theater, a Starbucks, Graeter's ice cream, and into a lovely residential neighborhood.
