Overall good stay. Old school motel on Route 66. Antique automobiles around property as well as 1960s vintage gas pumps. Room very clean and bedding VERY comfortable. Seemed to be newish and high quality mattress. ||Parking area in front of room littered with many cigarette butts which was bit off-putting. Breakfast area very small and limited even for a BW. Could improve that. Reception guy had women’s nails glued on. Weird and off-putting to normal people. Area is a good location geographically but many hobos, hookers, and other drifter types roaming up and down street 24/7. Felt safe but bit unsettling. The city should remedy this issue.

This charming roadside style motel is a gem and a lovely place to stay. Excellent customer service. The front desk staff was delightful. This place is old (part of the charm) but it's well kept and clean. Nothing beats being able to pull your car up to the door of the room and unload. The AC was cold and effective, great water pressure for the shower. Beds were comfy.

We just stayed here for one night while driving Route 66. The room was simple of course, but very clean. The carpet needs to be cleaned. Our feet got dirty from walking barefoot. But highly recommend staying here when doing the route.

Very nice, older motel at Route 66. Had a small issue when checking in, as reservations could not be found. The young lady at the desk worked with me for over 20 minutes to get a room for the night, then made sure we were set with not having to move our gear for our confirmed reservation. The room units are scattered around the property, but all have a single door, easy access. Didn't get to try the pool, as most days were rainy, or we were out and about. Mom & pop restaurant called George's was a block away she had very good food...hours varied depending on the day of the week. This is a Springfield, MO stop to make if you are traveling Route 66, or just need something nice and inexpensive for the night.

This hotel was full of amenities! They have everything you need and then some. TV, microwave, iron, iron board, coffee maker, fridge, even a hair dryer. I can't say much for how they make up the bed, no comforter? The bed was comfortable though. The AC works great! Very friendly staff even late at night shift.

The room was hot and humid at check in. The dehumidifier is broken. This "Elvis Pink Cadillac" room needs one because of the corner hot tub and the humidity it creates. We did NOT use it. It was July over 95 degrees daytime heat. The A/C unit was overwhelmed and took running from 4pm till after midnight before it was barely comfortable. A/C so needs to be looked at. At this time; 7:30 am the next day, it's comfortable in the room, but we dared not use the hottub we paid extra for, because of all this. I will not return to this property! Can't believe the property was not aware of this! The area is a little on the sketchy side. The room was clean, the property did have the old Route 66 feel.

Met a friend here and the room was secluded and I didn't know the property went that far back. The room was very clean and good sized. They paid $100/night which is about the normal price for a room these days. My friend said they had an all you can eat breakfast included with the room and said they went down and ate an awesome breakfast and bragged on their biscuits and gravy. My friend was a little past check out time and I said well I saw the housekeeper and that was nice of them to not bother you and clean the rooms around you. I live right up the street from this motel and know Elvis stayed there back in the day and there is a special Elvis room decorated with all Elvis stuff. I've never seen it, but from what I hear it's really cool and something to put on your bucket list. When I've drove by the motel I always see tourists taking pictures outside and it's a popular place because Elvis stayed there years ago plus it's located on the old Route 66 which is St. Louis Street now. If I ever need a place to stay or have friends in town I would highly recommend this motel to stay at.

The staff was nice. Breakfast was your basic decent hotel breakfast, but with biscuits and gravy. 😋 bed was comfyThe only bad thing was that our toilet didn't flush well AT ALL(room 101), and the shower pressure was horrible.
