The hostel is very nice. One of the cheapest in the city, and they offer a very good breakfast. They will give you tips and potential itineraries to explore the city. The only thing, they should warn people to respect others in the dorms. Lots of noise late at night and early in the morning (18 people dorm). Pretty clean

I stayed at this hostel during the F1 weekend and it was quite expensive compared to my other stays in SE Asia. But that’s expected since all properties in Singapore are super pricey during the event. At least this one was reasonably priced compared to others. Check-in time followed strictly, but if you arrive early, you can safely leave your bags in the hall. They accept card payments. I stayed in the dormitory, bed was okay and AC wasn't strong and room stayed warm during night time. Bathrooms were super clean throughout my stay. The staff (sorry I forgot the names of the morning and night shift people) were very friendly and helped me plan my trip. At night sound level was high due to a nearby bar. There’s no charging point near the bed. There are plenty of Vietnamese food options nearby, but most places close before 10 p.m. Bus transport is more convenient than MRT from here. Overall, a good choice if you’re looking for a hygienic and safe place to stay.

Loved the energy of Tony. He has a beautiful view and aspects, answers all the questions with all his effogiving in. Very helpful and strategic. Foods nearby are very cheaper compared to other locations. People who do not like to walk and explore might feel its a bit far from the tourists areas of the country. But let me tell you guys, you gonna love it since theres not much gatherings like other part of the city.

The check-in experience could be improved. When we arrived, another guest was being checked in. After walking with heavy backpacks, we wanted to sit on the nearby chairs while waiting, but the staff member asked us to stand behind the other guest instead. When I had trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi, the explanation felt quite mechanical, and there was little follow-up to see if I managed to connect successfully. On a positive note, the older gentleman or the owner was very friendly, warm, and approachable, which made us feel more welcome.

Loved the place absolutely, came in September 2025 and it was amazing, great value for affordable money. Worth all my ringgits spending here, suitable for backpackers; you can even make friends here ;) I did and we still follow on each other ig. Lively place, good enough breakfast, close to public transportation, close to restaurants and mini convenience shops. Owner, Tony, is super duper helpful and knowledgeable. Made my stay amazing there. Can ask him anything there. Will definitely come back here when I backpack again to Singapore.

Stayed 3 nights and loved it! Clean and comfortable hostel in the charming Joo Chiat neighborhood, with amazing food all around. Great connectivity to the city and airport — perfect base for exploring Singapore on a budget.

Excellent rates is you call direct. Clean, quiet and excellent location to get around Singapore on buses. The staff are kind and helpful… great food options at your doorstep … can’t ask for more

Wow, tell all your friends, this is such a cool hostel! Never had a longer check-in in my life, just because Tony wanted to explain aaaall the good stuff that's happening in Singapore. And the stuff's good indeed! The sandwiches at the included breakfast made me feel right at home. And there's plenty of games, books etc. (even skateboards), so you never have to feel bored. Be aware that there aren't any curtains to give you privacy in the dorm, but the rest makes up for that big time! Thanks again Tony! :)
