On the Grid : Beth Shalom Temple

"One of Havana’s 2 synagogues, is worth checking out if you’re interested in Jewish culture/religion. Although the local Jewish community is small, it’s active and outspoken. There’s a couple thousand Jews on the island, and there are Friday services here where anyone is welcome. You can walk around for free most any time during weekdays." - Noah Friedman-Rudovsky

Always wonderful people here. Rabbi Jeff is an excellent host.. Great information and backgrounds to facilitate understanding and appreciation of Jewish religion. He details coming events to encourage participation, and gives credit to members for their achievements. Shalom

Teaching there is no eternal separation from God for those not washed in the blood of the Lamb of God. Not Biblical, as well Judaism mentions an eternal soul. A "Jehovah's Witness" clone that the human soul is extinguished after death of the unsaved. I believe the words of Yeshua Messiah.

My husband and I love it here at Beth El Shalom! It is amazing to us as we sit in the congregation, whether at Bible study or services; that we have been so blessed by God to be where we can hear clear, accurate Bible teaching, that always lines up! God's word is not confusing, and it is taught with a continuity that is so refreshing for us! We enjoy the warm friendly folks, and the fun they have in the holidays there!

It is a wonderful place. Warm welcoming peopl, knowledgeable Rabbi. Scripture is everything and if you can Read scripture yourself and apply it to the Rabbi's message

I learned about this Messianic synagogue by looking at Google maps. I looked into it and didn't find very much info about what they taught or believe (except what other people say about Yeshua being Michael or some other Heresy this group supposedly believes). I didn't want to simply believe reviews I saw on the internet, so I contacted the leadership of this Messianic synagogue asking about established theology related to soteriology, the Godhead, and other questions. I sought these answers because I seek fellowship and am a well researched person that loves The Almighty and can not only rightly divide the word of truth, but has engaged in Apologetics ministry and can absolutely prove every single minute aspect of what I believe. I study Torah so much it is almost insane and when I asked about this synagogues soteriology, I was answered with a link to a website to a bunch of basic (and very long) lessons of elementary principles that don't answer my question. The pastor has not clearly answered my question (though he has replied readily) I spent years studying Torah for many hours a day and spent 20 years in apologetics ministry only to be given a link to a generic website outlining the various basic Jewish principles I have already spent years studying. Sure, I can still learn and I don't mind reviewing these things countless times; but, I feel that my questions have not been answered in any capacity whatsoever.

As a christian I have found more meaning and depth in my walk with Yeshua (Jesus). This is a Messianic Jewish temple full of people who love the Lord. You might just learn some Hebrew too! Christianity's roots go back to the ancient land of the Jews at Antioch. Don't believe it?? Look it up in the Book...Acts chapter 11 verse 26.
