Customer Service was amazing.. the room we first got was outdated and had some issues but the hotel staff fixed the issue and everything was great.

I have stayed here 6 times and will definitely stay here again. The rooms are very clean and cosy and the staff are helpful and friendly and the filomena restaurant and food is amazing, and the sea front boulevard is just across the road.

The people were absolutely amazing with providing friendly service and accommodations. The place was clean and tidy. It was a bit dated but that is to be expected. The price was very reasonable, and the location was great. I will return and stay here again.

We've always stay for a month here once a year when we visit family. And we love it! Great customer service. Their room is clean, May not be grandeous but the facilities works. It's all we need for a good night's rest. The Filomena Cafe down the lobby has affordable food and the staff are wonderful and accommodating. I recommend this hotel. 👍

Stayed a couple of times on the recommendation of my parents who preferred this hotel on their Balikbayan visits. It's not fancy and a bit run down at my last stay almost 20 years ago, but it has good security, as in measures to keep out non-guests. I've stayed on the top floor with the ocean view, which is nice, and is removed enough from the noisy street. The room furniture is not very luxurious, with plastic patio chairs, but the bathroom and bed were clean and the room was spacious. The staff is friendly and discrete. Having the small cafeteria restaurant in the lobby is convenient, with decent food choices; there's lots of nearby restaurants within walking distance if the cafeteria isn't enough. The sea wall at the boulevard is a nice place to stroll in the evening among the locals.

The food is superb. I love the values they uphold such as no smoking and no alcohol in the premises which makes it safe for guests with families and with allergic rhinitis. The single room is big and it's CR. Hot and cold water, the wifi is good the staffs are accomodating. The building's structure seems reliable and there is no reservation fee ☺️

when you enter the entrance, the security guard just ignores you. even greetings you won't hear anything. if you are rich there they are good and very accomodating but for ordinary people like me they just ignore me as a customer. the staff are still frowning especially the bell boys. I will never go back to this kind of hotel. I thought the staff were friendly, especially the security guards.

Google
An excellent place to stay in Dumaguete. It is just across the boulevard and is beside cafes and restos. Staff are also friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and beddings are comfortable. Pillows are a bit thin tho and they only provide one for each person.

Yelp
Broken Toilet, Broken Hot Water heater for Shower, Broken Elevator which is the ONLY one for Hotel so 5th Floor exercise whether you desired or not. Food In Restaurant was inedible. This may have been the grand restaurant of Dumaguete 40 years ago, but its now in desperate need of new ownership, remodeling, and upgrades in every area.

Yelp
Passable everything, and knowing the owner somewhat still doesn't help overcome the downsides. Is right off the beach and the sunrises are stupendous! But this hotel is standard fare for the Philippines: less than good 'filipino food' in a plain-jane cafeteria, average bland rooms that are quieter than most local hotels, many meeting rooms mostly for religious services esp. on Sundays, a large lobby and sitting area, and great staff! The internet service is mostly poor but sometimes okay. Their laundry service is quite good, and will rush it through for you if requested. But it's the room that is supposed to be the feature, but after staying here a few times, all are only barely adequate. A better hotel without better food is C&L Bayview only a couple streets away, cozier rooms, similar services, breakfast on the upper deck facing the sea or all sides of the city, and just about as quiet.

Yelp
The rooms are affordable and clean. They do encourage hotel guests on helping them advocate for water conservation. There's also affordable food available at Cafe Filomena, which is located just near the hotel entrance. The place has a good location especially if you want to witness the sunset there. Right in front of it is the Rizal Boulevard with huge acacia trees. There are also nearby establishments where you could jam for the night.

Yelp
Friendly Hotel Staff. Cafe Filomena, the hotel's restaurant offers a wide array of food. Anytime of the day you can have fish, pork, beef and vegetable Filipino, Chinese, and Spanish Dishes.

Yelp
The hotel has a friendly and peaceful atmosphere with clean rooms, a bit spacious and has a great view facing on the boulevard where you can see the sun rise when waking up ( truly a must experience). I will definitely be back in a heartbeat.

Yelp
Affordable clean rooms, great staff, good restaurant (cafe Filomena), no smoking, alcohol, or "joiners", so a good, wholesome, Christian experience.

Yelp
Affordable. Staff is nice. However, there is a manager that promises to accomodate hotel requests, but doesn't. They do have a service to pick you up from the airport, which is nice.

Yelp
We only ate breakfast here while waiting for the ferry to Siquijor. It's an excellent value - we ordered two servings of bangus, beef tapa, longganisa, hard boiled eggs, sunny side up eggs, papaya (3), and garlic rice (2), all for P500, though two dishes had a seniors discount of 20%, so the full price of everything was probably closer to P600. It's cafeteria style so you line up and order what you want, then pay at the end, and everything is ordered, and priced, separately. But while everything tasted fine, almost all the dishes were cold or lukewarm. You could probably ask them to heat your food up in the microwave, though. The best dish was the bangus as it was cooked when ordered, so there was a 10-minute wait (which they tell you about), but at least it was hot. Still, I'd eat here again, but I'd probably just stick with the bangus. Service was brusque, but as mentioned, it's cafeteria style so you can't really expect much more. The staff keeps the restaurant very clean, and are constantly bussing and wiping off tables.
